- Hey guys, this is my BenQ ScreenBar Plus Review...this LED lamp is just awesome!
A few weeks ago BenQ got in touch with me to ask if I would like to check out their ScreenBar Plus lamp, which is designed to help relieve the strain on your eyes.
If you sit at a computer or a desk for any length of time...I would highly recommend this lamp. It's changed the look and feel of my desk far more than I ever imagined!
The BenQ ScreenBar Plus allows you to control the brightness and also the colour temperature of the light too.

Amazing review Roger! The ScreenBar Plus has so many cool features (the new control dial is so intuitive). BenQ sent me the original ScreenBar and the controls were a bit finicky. It’s cool that they’ve improved it with the second version!

If you are right handed, place the light on your left monitor so in case you write something down, you dont have a shadow reflection of your hand over where you are writing!

Do you think this would work well on my BenQ 35" ultra-wide curved monitor? I also see these demo'd with a flat monitor.
Thank you very much, sir. I had a look on the BenQ site but couldn't actually see anything about curved monitors. It works well with my Samsung monitor which is curved but it's only 29"

Which keyboard do you use ?
I use a Logitech webcam and I figure this will affect that. Do you think I could actually mount the webcam on this instead?
That is actually a very good question! Because the screenbar is curved, I don't think a webcam would sit properly. You would either need to sit the webcam further along the screen, or maybe find a way to attach the camera to the screenbar 👍🏻
What light do you use?
I'm just using some fairly cheap light boxes. Would love to get a few LED panels though soon 😊

"I haven't seen any reflection on the monitor at all." This is false, you can see the dust. And you can always see the light leaking from the bar.
Hi...appreciate what you are saying. The light does shine off of things like dust. However, there is no reflection of the light anywhere on the screen itself.
If the light did reflect on the screen itself, it would be very annoying. The good news is it doesn’t. Not for me at least! 👍🏻

This thing costs the equivalent of USD 200 in my country, and the knob rotates off-center???? (1.35min) Unacceptable at this price point. And all these cables! And micro-usb!!!! Gosh... Check out the Xiaomi rip-off with wireless controls, the copy is more interesting than the original in my opintion
