This is yet another example of Anakin peeking through just a little bit before retreating back into Vader. "Anakin is gone, I am what remains" - Acknowledges he is Anakin, and that what Obi-wan see's before him is just a broken shell of the great man he once was. "I am not your failure, Obi-Wan. You didn't kill Anakin Skywalker, I did" - comforting his master in the only way Vader can, taking responsibility for his choices, absolving Obi-Wan of any blame...and seconds later, Vader emerges yet again.
I got him to sign this on a funko pop at the con here earlier this year. Cost a small fortune, he was charging extra for objects and extra extra for up to 7 words, Plus his autograph was already high up there to begin with, but man it was so worth it.

As much as some folks like to poke at this or that in this show. Those lines he gives child Leia about her mother and father make me melt every time. Amazing.
Reva is trying to kill Luke because she found out he is Vader's son, and she wants to hurt Vader like he hurt her all those years ago during the Jedi Purge when he killed the other Younglings in front of her. Also, 7:34 is why they call him _Master_ Obi-Wan, *Master*
Which in the end if Reva did kill Luke Vader would not have known he was his son so it made no sense doing it which is why this series was a giant failure for the most part. The only redeeming thing about the series was the final showdown between Vader and Obi-Wan.
@@BatFan1 Of course, Reva didn't know that. And she may have wanted to kill Luke as much for the fact that he was his offspring, and therefore vile, as wanting to hurt him. Thankfully, she decided he wasn't vile...he was just a boy.
@BatFan - To be fair, we don’t know what her intentions were after killing Luke. Send the boy’s head to Vader in a box, along with the same evidence that brought Reva herself to Tatooine? She wants to end his bloodline and suffer the loss of a child, the same way he robbed her of her own childhood and those of her friends. Informing him makes perfect sense and seems simple enough.

For Reva, she believes Because Vader killed so many children, he should know what it feels like. She wants to take something from him. She is wrong. But I could see it making sense to her.. She also suffers from severe mental illness, and probably doesn't quite think things out. The final fight with Obi Wan and Vader is very cool. According to the writers and creators, the ending is much less emotional than what fans believed (fans who have much better ideas). Obi wan, actually, leaves Vader to die believing the damage received was fatal. Vader think he's escaping, leaving the issue unfinished (blindly.) B- Vader is much more powerfull than what was depicted in the series.
If anything, I feel like this fight should’ve ended in a tie. Not with Obi Wan leaving him to die again. Because now we know that Obi Wan could’ve ended everything right then and there, but instead he let the galaxy go to heck. And they’ve basically told us that Darth Vader has never beaten Obi Wan. Not even in a New Hope, because he sacrificed himself.

I did enjoy Kenobi, and glad you liked it as well. However I wish you watched the Patterson Cut of Kenobi; it really streamlines the series to improve the storytelling and theming. An excellent movie experience.
Obi-Wan Kenobi is probably my favorite character but the amount of times he should've just killed Vader is sort of a plot hole at this point. He's responsible for about a billion deaths at this point.

She was originally going in machete order, but since Episode I isn't part of it, she's now going in flashback order. Episodes IV and V first, then the Prequels, then this, then "Rogue One", and finally Episode VI (though "Solo" should also be included in flashback order, as it also takes place before Episode IV).
@@motodork There are 5 thousand Release Order videos out there. Go watch those if you can't stand someone doing something different. For more context, she's already seen ANH and ESB in the past but she never finished the trilogy, and she already knows the two big twists, so someone talked her into Flashback order, WHICH YOU SHOULD BE FINE WITH.
*ahem* Need I remind you that the Grand Inquisitor appeared in "Rebels"? If he had died here, then he wouldn't be in that show, right? And I think Kyle Katarn and Bendu said it best, surviving lightsaber stab wounds depends on how quickly you receive medical attention in most cases. In some cases, though, as the Grand Inquisitor said, "Revenge does wonders for the will to live." Reva surviving could be given the same explanation: Revenge. Revenge against Obi-Wan, and now revenge against Vader.
Rogue One will make way more sense than this series, it lines up almost perfectly with Episode 4. This series didn't sit right with me, it breaks the canon in too many ways. And Obi-Wan's power sky-rocketed even faster than that of Kyle Katarn, without the Valley of the Jedi's power... It should have taken him a decade to become a match to Vader again, he had cut himself off from the Force. And winning against Vader feels way off, which is why they should never have met again until Episode 4. Disney are masters at breaking the narrative for the sake of fan service, unfortunately.
Agreed, obi has always been powerful. Even against vader who will never be as powerful as a full potential anakin, he still should've lost or at least tied. When vader threw him into the hole and buried him alive, they should've let vader escape on his ship before obi found the strength to push his way out. That would've been a much better ending. Obi was still recovering his power and should not have gained that much in just a few seconds to match vaders' level. Plus vader is technically more powerful regardless (at least in force powers he is)
@@loganbrooks1591 Well, at least Qui-Gon showed up. That was the only thing I expected from a series about Obi-Wan. But him leaving Tatooine, or even having contact with Bail Organa, seems way too risky imo. I guess they forgot their agreement in Episode 3: "Until the time is right, disappear we will." None of them would have risked the safety of one child for the sake of the other, because that would possibly put both in danger. And that is ofc exactly what happened, which is stupid and a desperate attempt from Disney to create something worthwhile. It gets kind of ridiculous when you can find edits of the Obi-Wan series on RUclips that are way better than the official version. Why don't Disney recruit the best writers and directors on the planet, I wonder? It's like they dropped the ball around 25 years ago, they used to be great. It's funny how corporations and even countries become all about money after they peak. It seems to be the natural order of things.

I recommend you watch the clone wars and rebels series. Then watch The Mandalorian and Ahsoka.
Reva wanted revenge on Darth Vader by taking out his son
There's an edited version of the duel on the Death Star... old Kenobi vs Vader. SC38 Re-imagined I believe. DEFINITELY worth a check out.
Acho Stef, ROGUE ONE ES ASOMBROSA!
Vader built his castle on Mustafar on the spot Obi-Wan defeated him so he would always have the high ground after that
Haha not really
@@moabman6803 Well not for that exactly but it's said he purposely built the castle on the sight of his greatest defeat as fuel to channel his rage towards the Dark side
Cue the heartbreak 👍
Best way to watch Rogue One is watch Episode 3 and 4 as refresher. Rogue one goes right into Episode 4. Probably the only movie Disney did right imo. Btw make your bed in the back! Lol 😅 just kidding
Future reference, don't spoil the ending of Rogue One to new fans. Finding out that RO leads into ANH is a surprise. It's not something that's spelled out to you throughout the movie, or in movie synopses or blurbs. It's meant to be a surprise. All you have to say is that RO takes place before ANH. You don't have to be specific.
@@MeanMrMustard1 past reference, nice getting a comment on a comment 2 months ago. Nothing was spoiled, didnt say how it went into a New Hope. Rogue One is a filler between episodes 3 and 4 not really that top secret
@@davidward9737 You said RO goes right into ANH. No need to be so specific. I responded to your comment now because I just watched her video. You might get responses to some of your comments years from now. Not everyone watches everything at the same time. For some strange reason, RUclips recommends SW reaction videos to me months after they happen instead of as soon as they're available, but when I look at the comments, I see people commenting soon after the videos are posted. I don't know what I'm doing different.
@@MeanMrMustard1 if you didnt know that Rogue One goes into a New Hope, sorry. Watching the reaction before reading comments might help with little spoilers. I didnt say how it went into it or gave details of the movie so, it is a little nick picky, but everyone needs to complain about something now days even something so trivial. It isnt a spoiler saying a movie is actually set between episodes 3 and 4 in the timeline.
An inexperienced 8 year old girl wouldn’t have missed that shot like Owen did. I know it’s plot armor but damn, great way to humiliate a character. 😂😂😂
make sure to watch andor before rogue 1 please!
you're a bit behind, can't wait for your Ahsoka reactions, specially episode 5...
This show has to many lows but the hights are soo strong !this last episode could have been a masterclass without the reva scenes.
According to the writers and creators, the ending is much less emotional than what fans believed (fans who have much better ideas). Obi wan, actually, leaves Vader to die believing the damage received was fatal. Vader think he's escaping, leaving the issue unfinished (blindly.)
B- Vader is much more powerfull than what was depicted in the series.
@@Kayoss13212 There are rumors that the series will be relaunched.
@@Kayoss13212Let's face it, obi didn't have the strength to keep up with vader in a new hope. This is confirmed in the novelization of the movie.
Rogue One falls between 3 and 4
You should really watch the mandalorian it takes place 5 years after Star Wars episode 6
Yeah Riva should be dead after that stab not crawling around for a hologram and chasing Luke across desert.
PLEASE watch the clone wars. It is peak star wars once you reach final season
So what did obi and ahsoka do after this then a surely both coulda just gone and defeated Vader or helped luke
Against the whole empire and emperor.? Right
@@briansview2886 obi ahsoka and Luke ? With the rebellion would wipe them with ease but instead obi and ahsoka just aren’t anywhere to be seen from now , they coulda teamed up and took Vader out
To the people who don't like this show, why did you watch her reactions to it if you don't like it? Huh? Seriously, ask yourselves that.
Has she done Ahsoka yet???
You should watch Pirates of the Caribbean if u didn't already
I'll say it once, I'll say it again... skip Rogue one, go to Return of the Jedi immediately! 😂. Doing Rogue One next will lessen the impact of Return of the Jedi 👍
I don't think it would for Stef. She's a highly empathetic person OBVIOUSLY. She will have the impact regardless.
Please watch everything Star Wars. I love, love loooove your reactions. Ok bye.
Hope you watch the clone wars anime series
❤
Watch Rogue One then rewatch A New Hope. 😉
I vote for the mandalorian series miss
Can’t wait for you to react to Rouge One …😊.. It’s one of the best Star Wars movies Besides Revenge of the sith and Return of the Jedi
Rogue One happens literally just before Ep IV A New Hope. The end is like a couple of days before Ep IV.
Probably just a couple of hours.

Obi-Wan meeting Luke as a child doesnt makes sense to me.
Why not? In a new hope Luke clearly knows Obi-Wan as Ben so they met sometime in the past.
Stef is so cute man.
Why no watch clone wars TV show?
Star wars IV
Uh Andor?
why u didnt watch ep 6
✌🏻
Star Wars Forever. Likeeee, bye.
Why are you watching them in this strange order? I’m just curious.
She was originally going in machete order, but since Episode I isn't part of it, she's now going in flashback order. Episodes IV and V first, then the Prequels, then this, then "Rogue One", and finally Episode VI (though "Solo" should also be included in flashback order, as it also takes place before Episode IV).
@@EntertainmentFan11Bleh. Awful. Disappointing.
@@motodork There are 5 thousand Release Order videos out there. Go watch those if you can't stand someone doing something different. For more context, she's already seen ANH and ESB in the past but she never finished the trilogy, and she already knows the two big twists, so someone talked her into Flashback order, WHICH YOU SHOULD BE FINE WITH.
u look so fking good today
Rogue One for me is on par with Empire as the best Star Wars film
U will high this chapter
I love you 😍
Man disney is so annoying, Grand Inquisitor and Reeva surviving lightsaber stabs 💀
Just noticed that Hayden's eyes weren't yellow anymore. Typically a Sith has yellow eyes especially when they're enraged. So Disney made a mistake on this scene.
No, I think that was intentional.
Just skip the Disney trash. We want to see episode 6.
Don’t like
perhaps she doesn't have enough SW culture so her reactions are sometimes neutral. As if she didn't understand all the references to the saga.
just found your channel, you gotta be one of the most authetic first time SW fan i think i've come across !!! i highly recommend watching the clone wars and rebels-- the emotional rollercoaster'll keep getting higher and higher 🥲
