"He's more machine now than man." This really helps make Obi-Wan's dialogue to Luke make more sense and why he calls Vader "Darth" in A New Hope. Star Wars has always been about organic and free life vs living a mechanical programmed obedience. I love when Luke's expressions when he cut off Vader's hand and looked at his own.

I agree entirely. Haters love to hate (funnily enough, they never nitpick stuff they like). this series wasn't prefect but I thought it was really good. Enjoyed very moment.
The problem was the bait and switch. They used a Legacy character to introduce a black female force user. Her story should have been told in her own series. They put her in Obi-Wan to satisfy some woke diversity bulls**t. What is really sad is there is a story in Reva but because Disney did there usual bait and switch she is hated.

That scene when Obi-Wan tells Leia about the qualities she has inherited from her parents... yeah, that really hits the heart. All while Leia's Theme plays...

It is funny that everyone freaks out because of the "Hello There!" line, but I didn't care about that. What made me cry my eyes out, and makes me cry every time I see this scene, is the fact that Obi Wan finally is able to meet the boy he is being watching for 10 years. He carried that boy in his arms as a new born and was watching him, thinking of him, buying him toys, and finally he got the chance to meet him and I'm sure he saw Anakin in Luke, right there. And Luke finally met Old Ben and kept that T-16 toy for 9 years. That is what that scene is all about. And lets face it, that kid, is sooo adorable as young Luke. I want a series with that kid as young Luke with Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru.
I was tearful at many points of this brilliant episode, but Obi Wan's walk toward Luke broke me. I'm 54 years and Star Wars has coarsed through my veins for 44 of them. I've pictured that moment in my mind's eye for decades, and my God, they delivered.
And I'd love a series of young Luke, young Biggs and Tank, even an animated one. I'd call it 'Son of the Suns'. That said, there's been enough of Tatooine already !
I don't know if a young Luke series would be good. So many fans are hateful towards old Uncle Owen and he probably was that tough on Luke even when he was younger. Even with this story giving more insight to why he is that way in ANH, some are still very critical of him so I don't think such a series would work. Some things are either best left to the imagination or to have young Luke flashback type things in other series.
I think Obi-Wan left him cause he still can’t bring himself to kill him. When he talked to reva in the last episode, even reva questioned if Obi-Wan actually wanted anakin dead. At the start of their fight obi-wan was more on the defensive than offensive in my opinion. Then he went more offensive until he saw the burned face of his old friend.

Hello ladies. I'm a Star wars original. Me and my cousin Jay stood in line for 6 hours on June 19th to see Star wars in 1977. On June 20th we stood in line for another 6 hours to see it again. Been a part of my life for 45 years and every time I see reactions of a younger generation with the joy in the passion and the emotion that you do have. Takes me back to 1977 when the theme song Hit and the first thing we saw was the laser blasts from the Star destroyer coming over head on the screen. We sat in silence with our Jaws dropped for an hour and a half. Again, I cannot explain how happy it makes me to see the joy in the passion that I experienced so long ago. It's unfortunate that you didn't get that original mind blowing experience. But you have it and I love it. You guys are awesome. On footnote on your videos you need to make the screen video more visible and turn the volume up. It's really hard to watch and hear. Watching your reactions is awesome but not seeing or hearing what you're reacting to sucks. May the force be with you both, always. 💚❤️☘️🇺🇦
I would love to see Lucasfilm consider doing a series with Vivian Lyra Blair, say five or six years down the road, playing a young Princess Leia balancing her role as a young diplomat in the Empire while secretly working with the resistance. Assuming the Star Wars franchise is still in hyperdrive in another five years. I hope she gets nominated for an Emmy for her performance.
I had the feeling Qui Gon (Liam Neeson) would return as Force Ghost after Obi (Ewan) tried to talk to his spirit during Obi's time of doubt. Like other Star Wars' "secrets" from Darth is Luke's father to Luke (Mark Hamill's face on a body double) on Mandalorian. Then Luke on Book on Boba Fett. Since 1977, Lucas and his team (Jon, Dave, Deborah Chow) have their actors keep surprises in check. Example Mark Hamill kept secret of Darth being Luke's father over a year until premiere of Empire Strikes Back. Harrison and Carrie were surprised of the revelation. Even Harrison asked Mark, "Hey Kid!" "Why didn't you tell me?!"
Ep 6 is the best episode I've seen since Book of Boba Fett's episode with Luke , Ahsoka, Grogu, Mando & Cad Bane. Seeing Anakin's tormented face in Vader's mask, Palpatine, Qui Gon & hearing the Force theme / Imperial March was EVERYTHING!
"He does the Qui Gon" that was not the Qui Gon. That is Obi-Wan's traditional form 3 fighting stance. Qui-Gon was a form 4 practitioner. His fighting stance was to hold the lightsaber with 2 hands, vertically, next to the body/face. But besides that I understand the emotions. Great reaction
We know, if you listen you can hear Clare explain that she was excited in the moment and thought we were going to see the transition into Qui Gon like in Twin Sons!
I find the fight between Vader and Kenobi to be very satisfyingly consistent with Twilight of the Apprentice. Ahsoka sought to avenge Anakin's death; Obi-Wan left him because "Revenge is not the Jedi way." He was stopped enough for Kenobi and the rebels to escape safely. Amazing episode. Amazing reaction.
Even though at this point the Jedi way is dead also Vader was a threat to the whole galaxy and because he spared him he would go on to slaughter more people until the Original Trilogy good job Obi two thumbs up for you.
When Vader says **"I am not your failure"** , his face is covered in blue light as if Anakin Is accepting the apology from Obi wan . Then his face turns red , when Vader returns with darkness . This was so symbolising in a way that even though He's Darth Vader there's is still some Anakin left in him only those who really know him can take out .(Another instance Ashoka ) and Finally Master Qwai Gon for 5secs after two and a half decades Overally what a great short series which greatly connects the events , also keeping the characters comically accurate . I will be not mad or sad if we don't get a season 2 . Loved your reaction and review guys
All the episodes of kenobi reflect the one through six episodes of Star Wars Episode 1 we meet a force sensitive kid Episode 2 futuristic blade runner type setting Episode 3 anakin /obi wan fight where a character is very badly burned Episode 4 daring rescue from from an imperial facility Episode 5 rebellion escapes by the skin of their teeth even from Vader Episode 6 a defeat of Vader from a Jedi with mercy who left the rebellion because evil doers were really just after him
Most intense and emotional finale, especially the battle between Vader and Obi Wan. Pararells between the exposed cracked helmet with Ahsoka and Obi Wan. Chills! Also we finally get Qui-Gonn!! Hoping for season 2!
It mirrors her fight. She took the other half of his mask. I think the symbolism there is that together, they could have brought him back. In the end tho, only his son could remove the mask.
Idk if you ladies noticed it but if you look close after Obi-Wan cuts Darth Vaders mask you can see Anakins eyes switching back and forth between his sith yellow eyes and his original blue eyes and he his crying. Along with the lights from the lightsabers switching color from blue to red. Showing Anakins struggle and trouble fully committing to the dark side, and that Anakin Is still in there. Even deeper Obi-Wan cut the left side and Ashoka cut his right both exposing Anakin and the light still in him but it ultimately took Luke fully taking his mask off and releasing him from the dark side and Vader.
For fans who don’t like this series, I just don’t get it. From the first minute of the 1st episode this has been SO Star Wars! We’ve gotten EVERYTHING we wanted to see and more. We are so lucky as fans! And if you don’t like this series I have to seriously question how much of a SW fan you really are. The people who made this show, you can tell, took time and care with the material- they L I V E D it for months… and to have some critics think that they could do better, or somehow the creators “forgot “ something?! Ha! - I loved both your reactions. How invested you 2 were. I’ve already rewatched this episode multiple times since Wednesday. 🥹So good. So emotional. “I am all that remains”. 😭
It's heart breaking that the only reason Vader says he killed Anakin is because it was the last spark of good before returning to the dark side. The last piece of light he could do was take away the guilt of killing ur best friend/student
Vader using the force to keep himself alive was draining so much from him..as he only spent so little time figuring out the healing of the force so he can come back stronger. Powerful stuff
Obi-wan's tearful apology got me and Darth Vader's "You didnt kill anakin skywalker....i did" while he grinned omg!! and then his "obi-wan" primal scream it reminded of his scream when he was burnt and reached out for obi-wan in rots seeing uncle owen and aunt beru made me realize they put up a fight and that explains their defense position when luke finds then burnt to bones :( ...did you notice how their duel started out the same way it did in rots? as george lucas said "its like poetry...it rhymes" the "leia" theme when obi-wan spoke on padme and anakin :(
Anikin's story into Vader makes me said. Hayden plays him so well. That end with them is heartbreaking. Even for me who grew up on the originals as a kid. Maybe more so.
Amazing reaction. Really beautiful. I'm an old guy and I teared up too. Obi and Anakin both lived with guilt for 10 years. Just that Obi Wan was finally able to let go of his and become a positive contributor to the story. Vader will not get there until his very end.
Great reaction you two. Its been a fun journey these past 6 episodes. My favorite part has to be that scene with Vader's mask in half and the dialog they both share. Obi Wan saying "I'm sorry Anakin, for all of it" broke me. And also when Vader says "Anakin's gone, I am what remains" and saying it in the mixed voice of Vader & Anakin. Ugh that's tough to watch without getting emotional. Def the best episode of the series for me. May The Force Be With You
The actress playing Leia has already done some great work in other movies...If she stays on track, she'll be winning Oscars for sure as an adult. And sooooo good to see after all these years of fighting, strife and guilt, Obi-Wan finally gets to live a peaceful life...for a while at least. Loved your reactions, girls!! ( A story I'd like to see in the future is one about Count Dooku...what made him turn from Yoda's training to the Dark Side?)
I am a wreck. Yall made me weep all over again omg. I've loved watching the series with you guys. Also lol, two things everybody says in reactions: "Now I have the high ground!" and "Screw you Obi-Wan, I got Lola back!" 😆
Great reaction. I now feel I need an Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru prequel show showing how they became such badasses. Also makes me see them in a new light... they would have fought those Stormtroopers tooth and nail in A New Hope. Keep up the awesome content
Hello there ! And Anakin finally getting high ground (even so he lost later) and underestimated Obi wan's powers And Master Qui Gon for 5 seconds after 2 and half decades ...... I can live happily now .😅😆❤️
At the end of their third battle, he gave a final gift as Anakin to his former master. He lifted the burden of guilt from Obi-Wan by saying, he alone was responsible for turning to the dark side. In the second battle, he only wanted to inflict pain by saying, "I am what you made me." But later, as he was defeated for a second time, he showed mercy by stating, "I am not your failure." By doing that, he enabled Obi-Wan to accept the "death" of Anakin and see him only as the evil entity known as Darth Vader and not to hold out hope or feel guilt that Anakin still exists. But ultimately, we found out that was not true, as he ended up saving his son and admitting there was still some essence of Anakin left ("You were right about me. Tell your sister, you were right.")
I love the thought that when the empire came for the droids in a new hope, i now believe that Owen and Beru went out in a blaze of glory taking out several storm troopers before they went lol
I just came across your channel. I LOVED the reaction! I loved this series. I thought it was one of the better ones and the ending may be one of the best endings in the entire franchise.
This show did a great job of enhancing the casualties of A New Hope, Owen and Berus death is heartbreaking now. Bail Organa and Aldaarans destruction hits so much harder
which makes it funnier a few years later when vader is desperately like “SUCH AS KENOBI?!” And Palpatine is pretty much like “yeah okay maybe dude drop it”
Answer your question why Darth/Anakin don't pursue Obi is that his new master, Emperor stated that Darth's focusing on Obi weaken his powers. Emperor wanted Darth to be more focus on Galactic Empire. In another 8 more years until Darth/Anakin face Obi in the original movie: New Hope in which original actor, Sir Alec Guinness as Obi. Ewan has captured the essence of Sir Alec Guinness as Obi.
Actually the stance that he does before he fights Vader is his own, but if it's any consolation he does do the same stance Qui-Gon Jinn does from The Phantom Menace does in Star Wars Rebels when fighting Darth Maul in the future.
I don’t remember much about the lore behind this era of stars wars but I’m sure around this time darth Vader and his inquisitors were hunting other Jedi, including cal kestis, a Jedi youngling that survived order 66 and the character is featured in the Star Wars fallen order game that’s out on console
They should leave it at that in regards to Vader. Thank you girls for your reactions to Kenobi and the Star Wars world. This coming from a long time (1977) Star Wars fan.

Y'know......I keep coming back to this vid, and each time I think, "Where were girls like this back in 1977?". Not a single girl in "my world" cared about this movie, let alone be an outed fan. Even my wife still rolls her eyes (we are of the same "vintage".) It was a "stupid space movie" that only stupid boys liked (and later, nerds). Glad to see that the generation of "stupid boys" have passed on their love of this franchise. When I see fans like this now, I'm pleased that I no longer have to look at fans like Comic Book Guy. Captain Sweatpants.....or even myself😁. Imperial Senate Podcast makes this easy.
Loved your reactions to this finale. I was hit in the feels on multiple occasions the same as you. I didn't notice you getting any reactions to the Leia's Theme or The Imperial March.
I subscribed. Great reaction! I am an original Star Wars fan, since 1977! I know a lot about the story and the lore, yet will always learn more. Even though the new saga a few years back let me down, Rogue1, Solo, The Mandelorian and now this amazing Kenobi series have all been wonderful. Ian also glad I’m many of the movies/shows, great detail has been take in consideration. For instance when Ben slashes vaders helmet in half, that strike caused the famous gash on top of vaders head when look revealed his fathers face taking off the mask in The Return of the Jedi. Keep up the great reactions. I can tell you both are huge fans. And yes, even I got a little teary eyed with different parts!
Uncle Owen...buddy.....you had at all the time in the world to line up that shot. You missed so far left that even the storm troopers let out a collective "oof".

That smile on Bens face when he sees Qui gon :)
“Does it hurt.”
*Sith Lords thrive of Pain, Hatred, Love, Anger.*
Vader is pure hate. Sidous is too, but in a different way. Vader is just pure rage and hate. Mostly for himself.
@@TheImperialSenatePodcast I know, I understand the excitement lol
Beautiful reactions girls. Grown man here and the tears kept forming in my eyes at this ending! Finally Disney did something right with SW!
This was so symbolising in a way that even though He's Darth Vader there's is still some Anakin left in him only those who really know him can take out .(Another instance Ashoka ) and Finally Master Qwai Gon for 5secs after two and a half decades
Overally what a great short series which greatly connects the events , also keeping the characters comically accurate . I will be not mad or sad if we don't get a season 2 .
Loved your reaction and review guys
All the episodes of kenobi reflect the one through six episodes of Star Wars
Episode 1 we meet a force sensitive kid
Episode 2 futuristic blade runner type setting
Episode 3 anakin /obi wan fight where a character is very badly burned
Episode 4 daring rescue from from an imperial facility
Episode 5 rebellion escapes by the skin of their teeth even from Vader
Episode 6 a defeat of Vader from a Jedi with mercy who left the rebellion because evil doers were really just after him
I wonder how Deborah Chow feels watching fans watch this as they’re bawling. She did an amazing job on this series.
She has a Chinese father and a White mother.
Through an act of love, not violence too ❤️
Idk if you ladies noticed it but if you look close after Obi-Wan cuts Darth Vaders mask you can see Anakins eyes switching back and forth between his sith yellow eyes and his original blue eyes and he his crying.
Saw that little smile after Vader says I serve only you my master, then the imperial march started.
Y'all were too cute! Lol
" They're not going to do it!... Omg they're going to do it! Lol
"I was always here, Obi-Wan." Makes me believe he was there when Obi and Vader were fighting and saw it all.
Not enough John Williams tbf though
I've waited over 20 years for those last 60 seconds and it was everything I could have hoped for and more.
Yes Brian! - we’re always learning throughout our lives and it’s beautiful to see Obi-Wan become a padawan to Master Qui Gon once more ❤️
I applaud both your abilities to grasp the emotional weight of the moment - and your editing skills! Great job!
It's heart breaking that the only reason Vader says he killed Anakin is because it was the last spark of good before returning to the dark side. The last piece of light he could do was take away the guilt of killing ur best friend/student
"u seem agitated my friend". God i missed Sidious being a sarcastic prick. Love it.
Viewers: man RUclips recommendations are boring lately
Kenobi Clips: *Hello There!*
19:30 When I watched this I could’ve sworn I heard Alec Guinness’s voice with the “hello there.” Those were his first words in A New Hope.
Vader using the force to keep himself alive was draining so much from him..as he only spent so little time figuring out the healing of the force so he can come back stronger. Powerful stuff
Obi-wan's tearful apology got me and Darth Vader's "You didnt kill anakin skywalker....i did" while he grinned omg!! and then his "obi-wan" primal scream it reminded of his scream when he was burnt and reached out for obi-wan in rots seeing uncle owen and aunt beru made me realize they put up a fight and that explains their defense position when luke finds then burnt to bones :( ...did you notice how their duel started out the same way it did in rots? as george lucas said "its like poetry...it rhymes"
the "leia" theme when obi-wan spoke on padme and anakin :(
Anikin's story into Vader makes me said.
Also lol, two things everybody says in reactions: "Now I have the high ground!" and "Screw you Obi-Wan, I got Lola back!" 😆
Anakin the chosen one, returns in Vi and this makes it so much more impactful.
Great reaction. I now feel I need an Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru prequel show showing how they became such badasses. Also makes me see them in a new light... they would have fought those Stormtroopers tooth and nail in A New Hope. Keep up the awesome content
Of course, they did. Basic stormtrooper squads do not have flame weapons.
Hello there !
And Anakin finally getting high ground (even so he lost later) and underestimated Obi wan's powers
And Master Qui Gon for 5 seconds after 2 and half decades ......
100%
After more than 20 years, we finally see master Qui Gon again! I can deal with his appearance that's about 30 seconds. :)
Awesome reaction ladies! Phenomenal finale. As a prequels baby I’m So glad Hayden and Ewan wanted to come back.
When I saw you guys tear up over the holster, I thought, " Hoo boy. You two are gonna be wrecked by the end of this."
Great reaction as usual, guys!
Lola being in the holster was SOOOO perfect! 🔥
He doesn’t do the qui-gon, he does his form that he’s always used
The emperor told him to stop hunting him because kanobi was not a threat
How dare you, ladies. I didn't want to cry this much before work. Real jerk move.
I just came across your channel. I LOVED the reaction! I loved this series. I thought it was one of the better ones and the ending may be one of the best endings in the entire franchise.
We need an Aunt Behru series were she and Owen go out into the Galaxy and kick the Empire where it hurts. Oh wait, we can't. Bah 🙁
This show did a great job of enhancing the casualties of A New Hope, Owen and Berus death is heartbreaking now. Bail Organa and Aldaarans destruction hits so much harder
Y'all are great. You had me tearing up again watching this. Thank you :)
THIS IS THE TRUEST REACTION OF FANS IVE EVER SAW!!!!
The Emperor low key threatened Vader to ‚drop‘ the whole Kenobi thing or else…
which makes it funnier a few years later when vader is desperately like “SUCH AS KENOBI?!” And Palpatine is pretty much like “yeah okay maybe dude drop it”
Answer your question why Darth/Anakin don't pursue Obi is that his new master, Emperor stated that Darth's focusing on Obi weaken his powers.
17:15 When you have to take the biggest fart of your life
We really need a support group or wellness centre for emotionally traumatised Star Wars fans 🤣
Actually the stance that he does before he fights Vader is his own, but if it's any consolation he does do the same stance Qui-Gon Jinn does from The Phantom Menace does in Star Wars Rebels when fighting Darth Maul in the future.

8:32 When you simply can't have the high ground....you throw it at them
"Now THIS is high ground!" splat splat splat splat....
“It’s over Anakin I’ve made the ground high”
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I was really expecting your reaction. I cried a lot too. Excellent finale.
"I just don't get why he would stop hunting Obi-Wan..." Me: "Waaaaaaaaait for ittttt..."
This has so many twilight of the apprentice references and I love it!!
Thanks, Mel! Thanks, Clare! 😎 This series worked for me! A worthwhile journey, a lovely conclusion... yet so much that can be expounded upon. 🌌 #StarWars #ObiWanKenobi #LittleLuke #LittleLeia #HajaEstree #KawlanRoken #Reva #OwenLars #BeruLars #DarthVader #EmperorPalpatine #QuiGonJinn #DisneyPlus
I was 10 in 1977. I love my Star Wars journey. 🤎
That episode was such an emotional roller coaster, loved it!
Y'know......I keep coming back to this vid, and each time I think, "Where were girls like this back in 1977?". Not a single girl in "my world" cared about this movie, let alone be an outed fan. Even my wife still rolls her eyes (we are of the same "vintage".)
It was a "stupid space movie" that only stupid boys liked (and later, nerds).
Basically Palps tell Vader to drop it without actually telling him to drop it. The it being the vendetta with Obi Wan.
Loved your reactions to this finale. I was hit in the feels on multiple occasions the same as you. I didn't notice you getting any reactions to the Leia's Theme or The Imperial March.
Great video guys, I literally cried watching the final episode🥺
You guys are great to watch. Genuine. Audio turned up a lil bit may help. Great job.
Two beautiful women thru smiles and tears
Uncle Owen...buddy.....you had at all the time in the world to line up that shot. You missed so far left that even the storm troopers let out a collective "oof".
Give him a break!
*Owen learns that an Imperial Inquisitor is coming to murder his family...*
Owen: "We need to leave!"
Beru: *Pulls out the strap.* "This bitch what?"
I think Anakin saying "I am not your failure, Obi-wan" is actually Anakin saying this isn't your fault, and then Vader takes back over.
The way his voice modulated from his own to mechanical was chilling 😬
@@Mrs.Deanna_Ember the final scream of Obi Wan is terrifying and I love it
How have i not seen your channel before, so passionate for star wars, you just gained a new sub...hello from New Zealand.
Kia ora!
