Nice to see the Wife and Foxy along for this trip. Nothing like going out with your whole family on the boat for a few days vacation in the Keys. It's what boating is all about. Very lonely out there by yourself, with no fish and just an unopened jar of Tartar sauce.

Put the fish inside the seasoned flour. If you keeping it fior just two days or three days like fresh fish then it’s fine. Or bring extra cheap zip lock bag. Throw the fish inside zip lock bag with seasoned flour. Then egg. Then back in flour. Good luck. Extra crunch use 1/2 corn starch.
Another great video!! Never knew how much work was involved in taking a boat out before I got my boat. For me it’s a 2 hr process from getting the boat ready at the parking spot to driving to the boat ramp. But it’s all worth it once you get on the water. Enjoy your vacation Captain!

That is correct about the hook and I was using squid does the bay that I can keep in my freezer with no problem but I'm pretty sure shrimp is great too.
Hi Capt. Looks like another great adventure. You should reach out to your RUclips followers for some fishing and lobstering suggestions before you head out on a big trip like this. I am sure there are folks out there that would love to share some of their knowledge with you. Late season lobster are tough to find but not impossible. Even on windy murky days. Lots of good spots north of Big Pine Key. Keep up the great work. Cobia coming soon out of Canaveral.
I noticed you use the winch rope when the boat goes off the trailer but then you have to undo the winch from the boat. A better method is to use a 10 -12 foot rope one end tied to the winch support the other on the top of the bow. Slide the boat off till the rope goes tight and the rope and the trailer uprights keep the boat good. Jump on board start engine then walk up to bow let the rope go then back to helm , motor off the trailer , tie up (you can get away wth one rope if you use a mid boat cleat to tie to the pier) then take the van and trailer to car park. Food looks better with your wife there! I’m from Kaikoura, New Zealand , google it to see some pictures its very beautiful and amazing fishing but not as warm as Florida nor do we have the amazing destinations you have.

I was wondering since you have no bottom paint do you get any marine growth on your hull or engine bracket? I experienced growth on my engine bracket and trim tabs after three days in Florida island camping.
I did that with a Minn Kota it's a lot more easier and I also use the engine a little bit too but the majority 90% to work and I hate not having a ball thrusters to the Minn Kota works as a bow thruster

Toughen up, put your long undies on and come down to Portland for some real fishing. The kingys are gone but there are some barrels in close.
@@johnsavage1109 mate I’d be there tomorrow (Wednesday) except it’s blowing it’s arse off. My last trip to Portland cost me a new engine, 42 km offshore and the water pump got a blockage and before I knew it the engine was stuffed. It was a long tow back by the Coast Guard 😩😩. Anyway, now have a shiny new 6.2 litre engine in the old girl and good to go, just need the good weather to coincide with my days off 🍺🍺🎣🎣
Hey Crooked, you coming to the Keys for Memorial Day weekend?
not sure cap. if i get time off😁👍
I was wondering since you have no bottom paint do you get any marine growth on your hull or engine bracket? I experienced growth on my engine bracket and trim tabs after three days in Florida island camping.
I'm on the water for 3 to 5 days and I never see any growth, you must be worst water conditions than mine captain
That was impressive docking. Seemed like u got in sideways. I’m new to boating. How do u do that with a single outboard. Thx for great video
I did that with a Minn Kota it's a lot more easier and I also use the engine a little bit too but the majority 90% to work and I hate not having a ball thrusters to the Minn Kota works as a bow thruster
You have a great first mate! I think you owe her a few extra large lobsters for the comment about her being the crew🤪
LOL I think so too Captain I will make it up to her maybe I'll get her some shrimp😁
Thanks for watching captain.
I just moved to Marathon, lot's of lobster trap yards around here
Yes it's all commercialised and there's Bowie all over the water you can hardly navigate through the waters
Capt! No Key Lime pie? What the?!!! Lol
Not this time😉😁👍
Okay the boat is really nice. The only thing I don't see is the toilet??? Where is it? With a toilet it's the perfect boat.
Yes cap i have one onboard is unde the bed
13:05 the pelican wanted lunch😂😂😂
Yes he did but the only thing he didn't know that was my dinner😁👍
That pelican came back talking all kinda crapp in it's own language 🤣🤣🤣
@@jackasmaryan1776 yes he was mad because he acted like he caught the fish not me😬

The greate one again. All the best
Thanks buddy for watching👍👍
Filet of that size I fry 1.5 mins max per side b
If it’s all submerged in oil then 2.5 mins total time.
That is about the time we had it on the frying pan and it was moist inside so that was pretty good and you are doing it right captain
@ 8:35 Captain Drops a few sec of "♪Spellbound Beats♪ "

My trailer is about 28 feet because of the pulpit extends the trailer

Awesome Captain Alex and I hope you have great weather captain
What type of trolling motor do you have in the boat and how many inches is it.
I don’t know which one get for my CC25ft ProLine
i have the 112 thrust and 72 inch shaft but they have a 87 inch shaft if you need more length but for your boat you need the 112 thrust 36v nothing smaller
Thanks so much it is a lot of help.
@@Yoel813 anytime cap.
How long are you getting out of your batteries on your trolling motor?
In great condition is about 12 hours and rough conditions about 6 hours
Feel bad for the dog. Prob so sea sick. And I won’t break your balls about the “mangrove snappers” lol I’m sure people given it to you enough. I always wondered why you seem to kinda run around the boat when moving from one place to another on board. Do you notice you do that?
Is this an old habit captain and yes LOL A lot of people talked about the fish I just came distinguish fish. Good but thanks for the great humor captain😉👍
Just curious . Do you keep that covering your mouth all the time driving ? And it doesn't annoy the hell out of you ?
