You give very clear, easily understood instructions. Just the right amount of speech. ❤

I am using this video as a guide to make the hat that has a free pattern on your website. After getting over a few glitches that were due to my incorrect reading of the pattern and applying a rectangular shaped example to a round shape it all is working great. Thank you for your clear explanation. I also slowed the speed down and used CC on parts where I had trouble and now I am going to be able to complete the mosaic hat easily. Thanks again!😊

Hi Breann...I am a subscriber of your email Newsletters. I joined a few months ago. For some reason I didn't realize you had a RUclips channel as well. In today's email you shared your video about weaving in ends so decided to take a look at your channel. I have now subscribed to your channel. I love your content. I hope you keep it up. Hugs, Shiela xxx

Breann, I also think the written instructions are different from the video. “Row 3: sc in first stitch, *sc blo in 2 stitches, ldc flo in next, sc blo in 2 stitches* repeat from * to * across, sc in last”. In the video you say to sc blo 4 stitches between the loc flo stitches. I’m really confused 😵‍💫!

Breann: Shoot, I see it now. I think what’s confusing is in the video you say sc blo 4 stitches, but in the written directions you split up the 4 stitches as 2 before the ldc and 2 after. Thanks for all the work you do with these CALs! 😁

I don't like the start with a foundation stitch and I know you said 5+2 but then you say 5+3??? I'm going to see which is correct. Thanks for the beautiful pattern ☺️

Hi! If you are using the foundation sc make a mult of 5 + 2. If you are using a starting chain, then make a mult of 5 + 3 and start in the 2nd ch from the hook :)

So, I have tried this a few times. Is this video tutorial the same as the written pattern? I followed the tutorial for the first 5 rows, then looked at the written pattern and it is different?

The pattern repeat starts and ends with 2 sc. So when you repeat that it ends up with 4 sc in a row.

Hi if you want to add extra colours in the zig zag rows which row do you start to introduce new colour ? And which change A or B
    (A) being the foundation shade
    Thank you 😊

I also wondered about introducing additional colors.

You written pattern is different, with the ldc being every third spot. Maybe a heads up in the description above would be helpful.

@@HookedOnHomemadeHappiness I must of been tired when I read the pattern wrong. I was crocheting at 3am. You are absolutely right, there is nothing wrong with the written pattern. Thank you so much for replying. Maybe I should crochet at daylight hours instead, lol.
