This important differentiating factor enables us to offer our patients highly focused care, and also sets us apart from most other practices in Virginia.
Serving as both an orthopaedic center and a sports medicine clinic, Tidewater Orthopaedics specializes in treating a wide variety of injuries and conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system, including arthritis, rotator cuff and ACL tears, trigger finger, carpal tunnel syndrome, Achilles tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, and more. With a goal of treating our patients as conservatively as possible, we offer a full range of nonsurgical options, such as medications, pain management, splinting, and hand and physical therapy provided by our own in-house staff of outstanding therapists. This dedicated team of professionals works closely with our surgeons to collaboratively develop and implement an individualized plan of care for each patient, which is designed to alleviate pain, improve function, and enhance quality of life.

It's the worst☹️ I've had my bunion moved on my right foot 10 years ago, I healed in 2 weeks no drainage no bleeding was walking great. So I decided to get my left foot done with the new machine or technology it sucks it was very painful and I'm going into my 8th week and foot still swollen and i can't get into any shoes. It's was far more painful than the normal way

This surgery made worsened my foot. The foot is fused at the first cuneiform and first metatarsal bone. Now my big toe has limited range of motion. I can no longer do push-ups normally nor can I run. I’m a very active person and I regret getting this done.
My theory is that the heads of the two bones 🦴 are rubbing against each other and there is no more room for the toe to bend. Will removing the plates and screws help any with toe plantar and dorsiflex?
