I'm supposed to have this done in two months (+partial tibia ostectomy, tenosynovectomy, and os trigonum excision). I'm kinda anxious about it.

Does this help with ankle pain as well or just stability?

Just exactly where the injection is giving makes a lot of difference in relieving pain, the inexperience so called physician assistant usually gets it wrong causing more pain.

after 3 weeks i Just got my stitches removed & my doctor suggested i dont need any physical therapy instead Suggested i buy a elastic mcdavid brace for my ankle And he would like to see me in a week... Should i still consider the PT ?

Gosh you get it numbed before they do it. They don’t numb it here in the uk. Just feel where it goes with the finger, put the needle in bobs your uncle done out you go. Thank goodness for these injections they work a treat for pain lasts me a year

On july 29th ‘23 I stepped down and sprained my ankle, complete tear to the ATFL, partial tear to the CFL and deep deltoid ligaments and there is still a bone bruise in Dec. I just had this surgery done on Dec 15th (yesterday) whew it’s a painful recovery now that the nerve block is wearing off.

beautiful....i have a question..can this be done with a local/ knee nerve block with sedation...im too afraid to go " under" as i take meds for other illnesses

Nurse refused to do my injection because she wanted my knee straightened out flat. Yet this doctor injected with her knee bent. 🤔

i thought they dont cut open the skin during ankle arthroscopy. the cut open skin will just create scar tissue.

The drugs don’t wear off for several more hours. Of course you can walk right away 😂

You dont hear about the fails

I just had a total hip replacement Tuesday and I was the same way walking down the hallway within 2 hours of surgery now I am home only after one night in the hospital taking it easy with very minimal pain.

Dr Higgins performed this procedure on my right knee 6 weeks ago and I could not be happier. He and his staff are were wonderful through the whole process. I did a ton of research of different doctors and procedures before choosing Dr Higgins . I can truly recommend this procdure to anyone.

I had one a few months back. The pain slowly came back starting after a week. My knee has many problems so I am having it replaced. Keep in mind that if you have this shot you have to wait 3 months before any surgery. Wish I was told that before I got the shot.

Haven't had a chance to test if it holds zero, but mounts just fine and has nice clear glass. There's no parallax adjustment or focus ring, so may be limited to 3-7x, have to see how it is on the range. Also be aware that the rings are "look through" so you can still use irons, but they are really tall if you only intend to use the optics. On a 22LR no biggie since I'm not shooting competitions or worried about a hard cheek press. Will boresight and range test, if all goes well, I'll leave it at that!
