Oh wow! Yeah a very nice older lady was telling me that some of this stuff is very valuable…she was wondering what they were going to do with it but I do believe it belong to the owner! So he’ll probably keep it!
Thank you friend! I’m sure some of the other states still have cool-looking fast food restaurants. But sadly NJ and New York no more! NY Brooklyn has one really old McDonald’s left and one at Yankee stadium, but that’s it for here! RIP to all our childhood fast food memories. Welcome to the new world sadly….thank you my friend for watching!
My first job ever at 13 years old back in the late 90’s was at McDonald’s. It’s like so sad, we will not see these types of buildings possibly ever again. What the heck!?
They don’t care for now…we’re hoping enough loss of profit happens that they will be forced to do something about it. 🤔🤷♀️ but We would need the majority of people to literally boycott McDonald’s 🤣 as great as that would be, I don’t think it’s possible because people love fast food so much. But with the costs of fast food rising so much, maybe it is possible! Right!?
Exactly! Usually it’s because the owner either needs the money to keep up the restaurant or something like that. It’s very expensive to upkeep the older ones and McDonald’s corporate pays them more if they are willing to change it to “their standards”. Aka the McBox. Yuck. I hate it too and it takes all the fun and iconic out of it !😢
I want the Ronald McDonald Playplace sign that was in the window lol. A lot of people are asking me if I know what they are going to do with the golf stuff. Some lady told me it was valuable so my best guess it will be sold 🤷♀️
@@explore.evermore It would be pretty cool to have historic pieces like that. Possibly, but wouldn't hurt to inquire. Maybe they will have an auction or solicit interested buyers?
Thanks for the tour 😊. Yes. I definitely contributed to the 99 billion. 💯. That's ashame that those furnishings will be discarded. 😮. Enjoy your weekend 💕👍🏾🤗
They will be closing in August or around there sometime- I believe the manager told me. So it is still in its current unrenovated condition as of today!!!
There is one more in Brooklyn that’s like this and really old school. I have it on my Instagram if you follow me there!! Should I do a video on it? I probably should. And one more green roof one that’s getting torn down also. But this is the last real real one in NJ for sure!!😢

I’m seeing a lot of Augusta Masters things. The Masters is a very exclusive golf course

Great tour mate, Wish would to visit this McDonalds if I went to US before it disappears..
RIP to retros..

Isn’t McDonald’s realizing that nobody likes new designs?? I can’t understand that!!

But why? Don’t understand why they have to make the McDonald’s look like a factory lol

Corporate and sterile is the american way.
@lestercrowley1485 yea I’m from not too far away in Nassau county NY and all of our McDonald’s looks like that too lol
You should try to contact the owner to see if you can take any of that stuff home.

Thanks! You too!!!!!
I live in Somerset Cty. The Easton Avenue McDonalds was the very first one I have ever been to.
Wow! The Easton Ave one I probably ate at multiple times a week during my Rutgers college years!! I will remember that one forever!
Great Video!
Thanks!
is this still unrenovated today or did they close it or renovate it yet?

@@explore.evermore Alright! I'm gonna check it out tomorrow maybe! Thanks for the quick response!
that's a cool McD's with Palmer and Payne Stewart, of all golfer, on their walls. Wow. This should be preserved, not demolished.
I totally agree they should have put it on historic places in NJ to preserve. it is such a shame what happened to Payne Stewart!
mcdonalds is great they shouldnot take it down for any reason
👏agreed!

This might be yhe last real Mcdonalds, all the New Mcdonalds buildings overhere in Chicagoland look like evil Corporation buildings

@explore.evermore it's sad to see these oldstyle buildings go away, feels like they are part of our history
