How to setup Novation Launchkey in Cubase 8! (mixer settings)

Hello Friends! In this Video I´ll show you how to setup a Novation Launchkey controller with cubase. Notice that i show only the Basic - functions. This is my first Video so please excuse some blunders.

Thankyou SO much. You have just solved a huge problem I have been trying to work out.
I could not map my Launchkey to work with midi learn in my VST's. You have simply explained that all i needed to do was turn the "InControl" buttons off, so the faders and pans can now be assigned to the VST, instead of the main Cubase mixer.
Thankyou again. I was ready to throw the keyboard out the window!! Phew. Such a simple solution.

Does anyone know if you can use the drum pads? and how? My launchkey arrived yesterday and I use it for Cubase Elements 10 and it works fine... But the Drum Pads are all just in red and only play piano sounds..... Any suggestions?

Great video! My new laucnhkey is working wonders.... except i am unable to have the pots learn cc anything in cubase despite having "IN CONTROL" turned on and off. Any suggestions would be appreciated! (P.s. They will control the balance in the mixer just not in halion sonic)

I have the Launchkey 25 with only one fader. For some reason the fader doesn't seem to operate the faders in my mixer.
The pots, track control and transport controls all work fine. Any ideas what might be wrong with the fader?

Greetings, could you please help me, I use the Daw Cubase for unknown reasons I can not use the device to play virtual instruments, consult novation launchkey49 is enabled to play virtual instruments or is not functional to play virtual instruments in cubase, I have done what the video but I only control the mixer, record, pause, etc, but the most important thing for me to play virtual instruments has not worked for me, in ableton live it works perfect for me but because of fate of destiny I feel more comfortable in cubase but I am uncomfortable that I can't play virtual instruments, could you help me with a solution

Hi all, I am having the C2 continuous heartbeat problem, which is very annoying and doesn't allow me to work with plug ins properly, I also noticed that in this video around 3:57 the MIDI in and out are singling that same problem (meaning unticking the in 'All MIDI Inputs' doesn't really work), so I'm wondering if anyone knows of any solution...Thanks!
