P4G on Vita was my first Atlus game - while P5R is my favorite Persona game (and one of my all-time favorite games), I find the P4G cast to be the most cozy.
Omg dude you are amazing, thank you so much for showing me you can actually even defeat bigger enemies in real time not just weaker enemies I am even more hyped for the game now!!! Cuz nobody showed you can actually do that, but glad you did now I am so excited this gonna make dungeons so fun to explore.
My first Atlus game was also Persona 4 - I'm a huge turn-based RPG fan but somehow slept on Atlus until 2020 when they shadow-dropped P4G on Steam. Been playing Metaphor all weekend and I think it just might be Atlus' best game yet!
Yeah, their Menu designs are 100 % Great. The creativity of them is stupendous. I personally think the creative design with the Art direction is one of my favorites from them.
10/10 menu swag - can’t wait to see a new IP, feels like we so rarely see them, especially from non-FromSoft developers first Persona game was 3, still have the PS2 steelbook in my office
Finished the demo and I love it. Can't wait till release. Something about its visuals and playing it specifically on hard mode pretty much amplifies the dark and intense tone this game has. We don't know but if this is going to have a twist, I hope it's at par or better than P4 as that was my first Atlus game that set the bar.
First was Persona 3 and I've played every Persona game since. This is an evolution for the Persona series in the best sense. Hope Persona 6 doesn't play it too safe.
I'm very excited for this game, I've been waiting for years ever since their weird trailers. Frankly, the only gripe I have is the choice of no romance, because it just bugs me out that there will be bonds you can level up but never get past friendzone x)
@@punani_slayer4209 Wayy better than 5. Base persona fes is better than 5. Modern combat return of the theurology moveset, some new mechanics and a fresh coat of paint and its vastly superior in looks to persona 5 and gameplay. Persona 5 is probably the weakest entry by far.
God, there's just so much in this game, I hope I enjoy it enough to NG+ it, because I'm gonna need the extra playthrough to really dig into everything. My first Atlus game was P4G.

Man this sure seems like a Persona game. Fine by me; it:s different enough to be it's own thing. For people who want something that breaks away from the Persona/SMT formula are going to be disapointed
Thanks for the info. I saw a gameplay video on Gamespot's channel showing the first boss fight and it felt kinda boring and I thought it'll quickly get too easy and repetitive. But thanks to you I understand there's more depth to the combat than I had originally thought. Btw in terms of charaters' relationship, can you romance characters here? I remember it was possible in Persona 5.
@@punani_slayer4209 this game would be big in scale regardless, but in more capable developer, the size prolly could be just 40 gigs. Lol. Yes this game looks very ps3. I'm not sure how I feel about not having to do turn base combat. In my opinion that is the best part of these games. People like myself will always take the quickest patch which is avoiding the turn base combat and will get boring.
Very excited and really hoping this comes to the Switch 2 (as per the leaks). In my opinion, these games are best on handheld and on the go. I'm sure it'll be perfect on Steam Deck. My first persona was Persona 4 Golden on Vita. From there I went back to Persona 3 and then Persona 5 at launch.
The menus are a 1/10 to me 😅 they are way too busy. Though I'm not a fan of the busy UI I'm still looking forward to this game. I hope their are options to minimize the turn based UI animations and remove that Squad prompt on the character.
I mean, you could say the same thing about Elden Ring and the dark souls franchise, but it was still an amazing game. And no, if you actually pay attention this isnt a reskin. This game seems vastly different than persona imo
@TheMasterwitcher true, there is turn based combat, but there is also the new addition of real time, action-based combat. Also when it comes to the turn based combat, now all party members can change their "forms". No more "summoning" to fight enemies. As for the art style, I'd gladly take any game that looks this good, so it's not a negative for me. Game Studios have styles and I honestly wish more games looked as good as this one. As for the story, it seems vastly different than your average Persona title. There also appears to be branching paths to some degree, and the story seems to have more depth than the other series. I've watched just about every bit of trailers and reviews for this game and I can say with high certainty that this game will surpass the initial thoughts of it being "a reskin". Just because a game has some features that are present in other games that the studio made, doesn't make it bad. Pretty much every single developer does this to various degrees
There is also the fact that the combat is more SMT based, at least the bases because they know if they integrated smirk in this game would be deluxe hard@@TheMasterwitcher

*What was your VERY FIRST Atlus game? Mine was actually Persona 4!* -BoomstickAlex
Persona 4 on Steam. Then P5R and I haven't beat yet P3 Reload, but I am very close. Both on PS5
P4G on Vita was my first Atlus game - while P5R is my favorite Persona game (and one of my all-time favorite games), I find the P4G cast to be the most cozy.
My first Atlus game was SMT III Nocturne on the PS2. What an amazing game, I'm getting nostalgic just thinking back on it.
My first and favorite Atlus game is and always will be soul hackers 2
Persona 2 Innocent Sin
Damn, this game is sounding more and more like it'll be my game of the decade and it's not even out yet. Eating this hype by the bowlful
Can't wait for those 10/10 menus!
My first Atlas game was Persona 3 FES. I found it on the PlayStation store and spent my whole summer just addicted to that game

I think this is the game that I'm most hyped for this year. I love JRPG and can't wait to play it when releases.
Aww this is sick I accidentally clicked the notification of the video and looked down, I thought this was a new persona! Buying this forsure

Atlus is synonymous with 10/10 menus. They’re GLORIOUS!
Yeah, their Menu designs are 100 % Great. The creativity of them is stupendous.
I personally think the creative design with the Art direction is one of my favorites from them.
Excited for the game, just worried about Atlus' business model of re-releases and not wanting to ppay full price for the game twice
I think they will go with the persona 3 reload dlc path.
They have changed their bussiness model as seen with P3R
10/10 menu swag - can’t wait to see a new IP, feels like we so rarely see them, especially from non-FromSoft developers

Metaphor is my 1st Atlus game... Amazing so far. I just bought Persona 5 Royal to play after this...
My first was Persona 4: Golden on Vita.
Persona 4 too was my first and till this day my favorite. I cant wait for a remake like they did with 3. I need itttt
First Atlus game that I played is a less known one, as it was a WiiU exclusive; it's Tokyo Mirage Sessions.
Super hyped for this game. I've never played an atlus title before this will be my first 😂
Ok, based on your insight this is going to be my first Atlas game. I've been on the fence since Veilguard also drops next month.
Wait a minute, Tarukaja was in the skill list, this is so much Persona/SMT inspired and I like it haha
It might seem crazy what I'm bout to say
10/10 menus for sure!!!!
My first atlus game was SMT nocturne featuring Dante from Devil May cry on the ps2.

Thanks for the video, Alex. This and Plucky Squire are my most-anticipated games this fall!
This game is also available in PS4/PS5 and PC. No need to buy an Xbox.
This game takes up over 95GB of space that's more than double the size of persona 5 royal edition. This game is gonna be huge
Sometimes it only because theyre using old engine which makes the files become heavier than it should be & poorly optimized.

Undercooked LOL…..

Is the calendar system as restrictive as persona? Most people wouldn’t be able to 100% persona on their first try
I think my first one was Digital Devil Saga
Is there any assassin archetype?
Sisa quanti personaggi entrano in combattimento? 3 o 4?
I wonder what the name will be when the game is rereleased in 2 years
