I think the gamemode matters a lot too. It's way easier for ball when everyone has to come on point rather than taking angles away from him
Very True Because the top500 could absolutely steamroll them on the CP ones and when they're Defending the Cart but when they have to push the Cart It's EXTREMELY HARDER
The breakpoint of roll being a 1 shot is 4x. That's partly why 2CP was so easy. The other ones, he just... dies.

Hey Jay, I would love to see a buffed bronze vs. 3/5/10 top 500s. You could then work your way up the ranks, like silver, gold, etc. and see how buffed the lower ranked players need to be to beat the top 500s. That would be fun to watch in my imagination.

He has done something similar, but it's vs GMs not top 500s (that's why it may be hard to search for)

I dont know how top -500 players can even exist
My 3 key analysis/thoughts:
1. wrecking ball 1 hit grapple roll kill vs not makes a huge difference because it can determine the possibility of a team kill or not.
2. Start off with lower stats (3x) and increase to higher (easier) later as bronze players start to adapt and learns how to counter
3. Start tracking progress instead of just win/loss. Sometime you know within a couple fights which team is going to win/lose, having a progress goal keeps the game exctiing.

I wanna see Chazm try this out, I think with his grapple techs he might’ve been able to do it. He’s rlly good at double and triple boops which I think would’ve made a huge difference.
U'r talking like Jay picked a random guy to do this 1v10, it's Yeatle and he's able to do all the stuff u said. He's not #1 every season for nothing

Can you even do that stuff with 10 people in your face, while getting constantly hit with sleep darts Mei’s abilities, and getting booped over and over again?
I think even Chazm is gonna struggle against 10 people, and that's not me saying that he doesn't have what it takes. It's gonna be beyond hard to do those techs once Bronze players figure out that you can just chain CC the Ball.
I'm a gold tank, and recent ball main. I think it would be super fun to do a buffed lower elo against 3-5 diamond+ players. Love your content btw! 🔥🔥

honestly, I would love if there were more variety to buffs for top 500s, not just basic stats, but also they may get lower cooldown, or more bullets, or they could have more movement speed, etc etc
he did that for the junkrat top 500 vs 10 players. he had infinite ammo and lower cooldowns.
@@schlipuschlopu yup im aware, but as far as I know, it was the only top 500 vs bronze episode that he did that. The lowered cooldown wouldve helped so much on the top 500 sombra video

Man, this was for me the best one until now, even tho i liked the doomfist one (with zbra)....
Also, this resembles a little what would be the already gone PvE mode ( 1 buffed vs 5/8/10 heroes AI-driven or not), so u gave a good breath of life to OW community with these video series

Honestly, I think it might be interesting (if you don't do it already) to let the T500 player pick the map/gamemode. (Perhaps they can't pick the same map/mode in a row or something to keep it interesting, but yeah! It may add an extra layer of strategy :3). Awesome content! I subbed for the duck pls guys QwQ

Hey jay I feel like it would be interesting to see how many top 500 players it would take to beat one buffed top 500 player just to see the difference the buff really makes also I feel seeing the difference in team comps and starts would be interesting
They would destroy the player with teamwork
I think the reason that mines are given the ult charge while BOB isn't is because mines don't time out for waaay longer than BOB, so it could be abused by the enemy team to just keep a few mines active for their duration, starving hammond of any good ult.

Every time you buff a character it just makes them lore accurate
@jay3 I feel like there needs to be a mechanic that when the t500 gets a kill they heal. Anywhere from 50 to 150 depending on the character. Being dependant on health packs has ended so many t500 attack runs.

Jay I'm surprised you haven't figured this out yet after doing so many of these.
2CP and Control maps are easier for the Top 500s because they only have to worry about a single area.
Payload and Push are much harder because you have to worry about pushing the bot/cart and getting health packs and keeping up with the bot/cart

I think what he needed to do is use his shield as soon as he slams, so that if he starts to get melted, only the green health will be affected and he will still be at full. Like doomfist, punch them before you can take damage
