- Attention now is turned to construction of our new steel re-enforced bamboo hut as I make a profound discovery concerning our new home here in Thailand. I'll share with you what I found out as we enjoy a rural evening out before heading back to the dentist and a new restaurant with an interesting theme.
I suspect the dark beer would have been better without the ice, but that place looks like a great find.
The cuisine at 5:02 and immediately following looks absolutely delicious. This was an awesome episode enjoyed from Chicago. Just got back from a 3 week trip to Thailand with the family.

Lan...I feel for you. I had an upper tooth done and 2 months later broke it off, can't be repaired. And had a second one done on lower jaw. It is fine. I know your pain. The hut looks good, great job!😊

Carabao Dunkle beer is delicious. It's associated with the band.
I've never seen it in a Pattaya bar. You can find it at Big C.
Yes, I've noticed it in several supermarkets during the past month. Interestingly, Carabao is now a publicly listed company on the SET and in addition to the beer and energy drinks, the company also owns Tawandaeng Brewery along with the restaurants.

Hey Lucas & Lan! Am impressed with Lan's many skillsets. Dental work looks very natural; fits her smile. Price is very reasonable vs US standards. Yummy looking food! Stay safe, happy and healthy
We bought some land 2021 adjacent to our main house and built 3 bungalow huts with fish pond. Sleeps 4 people with a common area for sitting and eating etc. Also built outside kitchen with fridge to keep beer cold! Next time your in Chiang Mai, pop in for a cold one and have a look around.
6 Crowns here would easily have cost me between 5,500 to 6,500 USD or 192,000 to 228,000 Bhat at today's exchange. Never mind adding in the extraction and prep work. Do you have a rain catchment system? Might as well turn some of that weather into an asset more than just watering the garden eh? Nice job on the hut Lan and Son. Looks great.

Carabao Beer is from Tawandang brewery. They brew a Dark (Dunkel, too sweet for me) and a light (Lager) version, I'm a big fan of the Lager. They also market three flavors of brew under the Tawandang Brand, their famous Wiezen, a Rose and a really tasty IPA.

Carabao is a pretty good beer. I prefer the lager. Energy drink company is breaking into the beer industry
I've seen Carabao before but not beer .think it was one of these typical Thai energy drinks .But not really looking at that but thee lovely waitresses

I had Carabao at a friend's restaurant in Bangkok back in March. It's made by Tawandang brewery - they have a number of good beers.

I was in Pattaya February/March this year and I had a chance to taste the lager of Carabaou when I attented their consert. I have been told by Thai friends that the leader of the group , Ad Carabaou want to come into the marked with his beer but so far have been blocked By Singa and Chang company, I am guessing we will hear more about it later. Good to hear that you and Lan have settled in BanPhe now good luck to both of you

Wow… that much more rain….im amazed at that….it always floods in pattaya maybe that’s why I thought they got more rain….
The dentist takes a mold of the tooth he wants… he has the ability to make a temporary
“Not the good stuff”… the mold is then sent to a specialist… that works with the “good stuff”….. then he’ll make the crown and in a couple of weeks the dentist just takes out the temp.. puts the crown in.. maybe a little adjustment.. and finished….

I live in Kanchanaburi and the local CJ supermarket has been selling Carabao beer for a while - as you say also the name of a singer
Trat provence #1 for rain.
Carabao was launched last year I think, had some up the jungle in December.

The food looked great! I can’t believe the difference in dental costs…mom had to have some dental work done on 3 adjacent teeth and it was like $5k or $6k or something crazy. Yikes!

I think you mixed up here. Morroc is short for Morroco and they serv Morrocon food. NOT Turkish. That’s from Turkey.

@@Angus_Stewart I believe adding a smidgen water to whisky will awaken the dragon ( as they say ) but adding ice will deaden the aromas and flavour until the ice melts !! I really do not care what 2nd. hand opinion you have with you !!
It does dilute the beer but, that means just drink it faster. In Thailand, beer gets warm quickly. The first couple of glasses, I drink it straight and the next couple of glasses to finish the big bottle I add a little ice.
I thought Carabao was an energy drink?

Turkish food served at a place called "Morroc"? That's definitely a case of "same same, only different" meaning "not the same at all". 😂 It's like how some people in North America call all foods from Asia "Chinese", or how places that specialize in cuisine from Turkey, Lebanon, and Israel are called "Greek" restaurants. 🤦♂️
