      You obviously don't know music, if you have heared the original then you know it is supposed to be played that way, and if you listen even more carefully, then you can hear Langlang has more depth in the faster parts: ruclips.net/video/XsKEKqXRTbA/видео.html

      @RA-el6zj 4 года назад +8

      @@BingDwenDwen What are you talking about? The original you just linked to is played very different, (and in my opinion, much better) if you can't seem to hear that, you are the one that "doesn't know music".
      I do agree that he put depth in the faster parts, but to me they still sound like he has to catch a bus or something. Performance wise, impressive, beautiful, no.

    • @BingDwenDwen
      @BingDwenDwen 4 года назад +2

      @@RA-el6zj To me the original is very flat sounding, no depth, but its a movie score not a performance piece, if the original is performed in a live audience, it would be boring, but okay its a matter of taste. The faster pace of Langlang is because he wanted to make a swirling effect, like if you were sitting in a carrousel.

    • @RA-el6zj
      @RA-el6zj 4 года назад +2

      @@BingDwenDwen It's just a matter of taste, indeed.
      Actually that's something I just love about (piano) music. No piece is the same in different hands, because the player always puts something of him/herself in. Except maybe for when someone tries to play exactly like the composer intended, for a recital or whatever.
      This is Lang lang, the original is Yann Tiersen. I happen to prefer Tiersen, and it seems you prefer Lang langs version of Tiersens piece. That's all good. 😊🤝
