This is an awesome song written by Freddie, voted as the best "feel good" song. Brian wrote Fat Bottom Girls, although he said it was written with Freddie in mind, in 2011 he said the real inspiration was the group of fans that followed their concerts around Europe, even bringing bicycle bells to ring during Bicycle Race. I love everything from Queen regardless of who wrote it. Freddie makes every song his own. You are doing a great job with your reviews. Yes, more Queen please😢.
You heard and watched the happiest song! It makes everybody smile! Queen ❤❤❤❤ is great! Btw today it is Freddie's birthday (77.)! Greetings from Germany.
Love me some Queen. For something a little bit different... My Melancholy Blues. If you want to be surprised... It's Late. If you want more blues... Sleeping On The Sidewalk. If you feel like a change of pace... Millionaire Waltz. If you wanna salsa... Who Needs You. If you wanna go on holiday... Seaside Rendezvous. If you wanna go back to the 1920's/30's... Bring Back That Leroy Brown. If you wanna take a trip... Lap Of The Gods/Lap Of The Gods Reprise. If you want a 3 part play... Tenement Funster/Flick Of The Wrist/Lilly Of The Valley.
Brian May is always brilliant on guitar and the dude can sing too! All the members of Queen have serious vocal skills. And yeah, this high energy song works great for doing chores!
The joy you give off with your reactions are incredibly, undeniably infectious and genuine!! This song does just that & your reactions was more than priceless!!
I’ve said it a million times, there is no other band like Queen. Unique and spectacular ❤. I highly recommend checking out You’re My Best Friend. So good! And tomorrow is Freddie’s birthday so it would be fitting
Thank you for the great reaction. Such a great song and I love Freddie's all leather gear. Happy birthday to our dear Freddie. We love and miss him so much. Freddie and Queen #1 forever 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
Great reaction! I hear the Christmas Music vibe, now that you mention it. I always felt like it sounded a bit like a classic jingle from a 70s sitcom. As for Freddie's lyrics, this song was an unambiguous celebration of his sexual liberation. Freddie was bisexual and was becoming comfortable with his attraction to men. He wasn't closeted in his private life, but he was coy in interviews. Some of his friends were concerned for how his promiscuity and sexual freedom could affect his career, so he wrote this song to say "get off my case, prudes! I'm living life to its fullest!!" It was already a classic for decades, but check out its brilliant use in the 2004 Zombie Comedy classic, Shaun of the Dead. It made the song one of their most popular, to date.
2:20 You definitely get it...Freddie had a different vibe, almost like what the actualized version of what a gay man in the 80's could be (Which Freddie himself would challenge saying, "It's complicated, darling.") who didn't give a shit about what anyone thought of him...and I admire him to this day for both his music and activism (Which wasn't really activism, but more just Freddie being Freddie)...
I love that you love our Freddie and Queen. Please react to Cool Cat by Freddie and John Deacon collaboration. Brian and RoGer did not want to participate on this one but I think they missed out because its a Gem!
Freddy never pulled any punches. The media tried to force him to talk about his private life or out him. Freddy lived his life to the fullest and in doing so he brought things in that gave him highs and addictions and use of sex without protection. What he died from was only one sex disease of the many std’s he. Kuldip have attracted. The band knew Freddy and were never judge mental but his whole phylosiphy was wrapped up in this one song. I’m going fast don’t stop me. Like a widow that is angry at her spouse for dying I have anger myself for artist leaving me young, abusers of their bodies and voices leaving us behind without their voices. I wanted more, selfish. When I came across dimash a teetotaler practices 3 hours a day and deep dives for his lungs everyday I will search to hear anything new and repeat listen to reactors of his works. I’ve almost exhausted queens library. Thanx for your reaction.
So many old classic songs I've been reintroduced through you and other reactors. It's nice to hear songs that just seem to last the test of time and be amazing still many years later. Give some songs from Journey a listen if you want to be mindblown (especially the songs "Open Arms" and "Don't Stop Believing,' two of their biggest hits and for good reason).
Shon, I've watched a lot of reaction videos to this song. "Huge Queen fan and old fart". You are one of the few that caught the "I'm a sex machine. ready to explode".
I love rhat and hey use this song in Shawn of the dead. Whatch the movie. Esp if you like zombies with a little laughter. Nick Frost is in it. He was also in into the badlands. And Paul.
SO! Would you like to see a bunch of little kids doing this song? It’s hysterical and adorable. The video is called “Flakefleet Primary School gets first GOLDEN BUZZER of 2019! | Auditions | BGT 2019. I think you’ll love it
If you want to hear something very (!) different by Queen, give "Machines" a try. It's from 1984 (!!!), but the lyrics are kind up2date!? ...-> "It's software, it's hardware, It's heartbeat, it's time-share" ...
Thanks, Shon... this is, as Sharon says.. one of the "happiest" songs evah!.. c'mon with credit for the rest of the BAND, though.. that guitar.. bass & drums... this was a true group.. not "Freddie and his back-up people"... lol
@@shon1303 They were set to collab on a song. But MJ would bring in his llama and Mercury wasn't having it. He called his agent franticly trying to get out of the project.
Awesome reaction as always ❤ The 70's just lost a legend. Gary Wright. I'd love in Gary's honor, if you'd react to his song Dream Weaver....it's amazing! It's timeless!! ruclips.net/video/xZKuzwPOefs/видео.htmlsi=5i8R0kf-PpB1xi8U
When your drummer could be the lead singer of a band himself you know this band is one of the greatest ever
I always think of Shaun of the Dead when they were beating a zombie with pool cues in perfect rhythm to this song 😂😂
Same here.
Yeah totally 😂
"Sade?" ..."throw it!" 😂
Yes!!!!!!!
It's on random.
Every member of Queen wrote a song that reached number one on the charts. And the guitarist, Brian May, is a PhD. Astrophysicist. Pure talent!
This was my grandads funeral song, that's when I found out that me and my grandad had the same favourite band

Why can I only "like" this once???
“It’s Late” is such an underrated song. My favorite by them.
How could anybody not be in a good mood after listening to this song? I absolutely love it. Thank you for your time and your reaction.
I did a dance routine to this song in high school (1989). I still remember the routine. 😂

You actually heard John Deacons' serious vocal skills? I haven't all the years I've been a Queen fan.

Acording to some psicologist and neurocientist this is the happiest song ever. The number one to put you in a good mood, and I totally agree.

i remember in an interview when Freddie was asked does he have any hobbies his answer was "i have a lot of sex" so maybe that answers your question. 😛
Keep em coming Shon, awesome!
