There was a scientific study done showing this song is the happiest song ever written. Meaning it was shown to generate happy moods far more than other song. Also, my suggestion for live is White Queen - Live at the Hammersmith Odeon 1975!!

Sing all you want and ignore anyone who tells you not to. (At least you can actually sing; some reactors attempt to sing along and all I can say is ‘bless your heart!’) But one of Queen’s many innovations was audience participation. Today, it doesn’t seem unusual when the audience sings with the performer(s) at a concert, but when Queen was starting out, rarely was that ever done. (I know cuz I was going to concerts then.) In more than one interview, I heard Freddie say that he wanted his music to offer people a chance to escape and forget about stuff happening in their lives for awhile. And I think he has delivered on that, a billion times or more! Thanks and I’m looking forward to your next Queen reaction!

Queen are quite generous about approving copyright for their material, you will have heard a lot of thier music in movies and TV shows. As others have said, you will almost certainly have heard 'We Will Rock You' and 'We Are The Champions', they are used at all sorts of sporting events. The opening bass lines for 'Under Pressure' and 'Another One Bites The Dust' will almost certainly be familiar too! My votes for the next ones to watch would be 'Somebody to Love' (either the studio version or the Live in Montreal version), 'Killer Queen' (the Top Of The Pops video is my favourite for that one), and sooner or later you need to set aside 20 minutes or so and watch their Live Aid set!
It will be 30 years since Freddie passed away at the end of November...I'm sure he would be thrilled to know so many people are still discovering his and the bands music! :-)

The truth is not all of their songs should only be listened to live. Especially songs from their first five albums. 1973 to 76 or so. Early Queen experimented a lot with sound. On their studio tracks. Some songs sound way different live. Just as good, but different. Millionaire Waltz, March of the Black Queen, The Prophets Song, You Take My Breath Away, Flick of the wrist, Death on Two Legs, & Ogre Battle. Come to mind. They really took control in the studio. Producing their own sound. They are masterpieces. You should not miss them.

Dr. Brian May - Lead guitar, piano, back vocals - Doctor of Astrophysicist. Has worked with NASA (also made his guitar, the red special, with his dad when he was 17. Still plays it to this day) Also still has that hair at 74!
Roger Taylor - Drums, back vocals - Degree in biology
John Deacon - Bass - Degree in Electronics
Every member has written #1 hits. Queen has never recorded a song that at least one of them did not write. There was no auto tune back then. What you hear is pure talent.

The four of them together were Queen… Freddie often said they were 4 equal members. “I’m not the leader, I’m just the lead singer”

New to your channel. Watching people genuinely discovering Queen for the first time is a thing of beauty. I have at least 50 of their songs on my Top10 list. I think you would have fun with Fat Bottomed Girls and you have to see the Live Aid show and White Queen live at Hammersmith. They have at least one song representing almost every genre of music. Bassist John Deacon is often in dad sweater vests while lead singer Freddie Mercury is in a harlequin checkered jumpsuit or nothing but a pair of short shorts.

The lead singer's name is Freddie Mercury. Legend. He unfortunately passed away from AIDS in 1991. There will never be anyone like him. And you probably noticed it but it wasn't live. They did quite a few of their music videos like that where they are on stage, but it's made like a music video and no audience. Please react something that's actually live though because they are so much better live(this song is an exception, I prefer the studio version). React to Somebody To Love LIVE from Montreal 👌🏻

All I can say is " Queen Live Aid 1985". Queen was brillant and Freddy Mercury worked the stage and crowd like no other!!

Talented…. Freddie was the best at changing the tempo up several times in a song. He brought each instrument into focused and used his voice to sew the sound together. Genius! We lost him way too soon. It’s so exciting to watch your generation get so excited about Queen. There is so many artists for you to explore. I suggest you continue to react to Queen’s live performances, especially their appearance at the LIVE AID concert in 1985. Also Freddie was at his best doing duets with other British rock stars like David Bowie and Elton John. He even sang opera with the great Luciano Pavarotti. The journey has just begun. Enjoy the wild ride!

But, Freddie and Pavarotti never sang together ! Unfortunatelly, it's just Marc Martel for his album "Impersonator" ! Freddie had an unforgettable duet with the great Montserrat Caballé...
