Yep - Brian is my man.. he was my first "rock-star" crush.. and I still love "geriatric" Brian.. such a talent and a great person... Astrophysicist, animal rights activist, as well as incredible talent... p.s. I was always a bit annoyed when people mocked his hair (as a "perm" or whatever... it just grew out of his head that way.. and still does... lol).. appreciate your reaction...
Brian was born with those curls. He’s been wearing them long for over 50 years. This song from “Highlander” refers to the love between an immortal and a mortal.
Great reaction, thank you! Brian May( lead guitarist) & Roger Taylor (drums) are still playing concerts to this day with Adam Lambert as lead vocalist as Queen + Adam Lambert. They are still as good as ever! More Queen pls, any Queen song is a good song & they were almost always better live! Liked & subscribed. Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺
Brian May came out of his mother with that hair. The rest of us could only strive for that kind of perfection with $150 of styling products, a teasing comb, a curling iron, and serious pain.
You are so right, Queen music will never go anywhere! It is timeless, and will live forever. This song was one of the songs that they wrote for the movie Highlander. Freddie could sing the phonebook and I would listen. Thank you so much for the reaction and have a great day.
It's true the music makes them immortal. I discovered Queen when flipping through channels in 8th grade in 1991 and stumbled upon Freddie's memorial concert. Still became one of my core lifetime music groups even though he had just died and I remember that concert over 30 yrs later.
Great reaction! Check out the live versions of this song at Wembley or Budapest. Different but just as incredible. Such a sad and haunting song due to the connection with the storyline of the movie.
Instead of unisex bathrooms in the 80's, we had unisex big hair. You should have seen mine, had a 6" lift kit on them bangs LOL OH and they still are Queen, Adam Lambert is their front man now.
This song always gives me chills and makes me sad. I LOVED Queen and Freddie. Bless his soul. Brian May's guitar is always so beautiful. If you haven't listened to it, you should check out "My Bijou". It highlights Brian's guitar. No one can make a guitar cry quite like Brian (with the possible exception of Gary Moore, blues guitarist).
I'm no Adam fan but he did do justice to this song at the concert. I think it was his best performance. Overall I can't say he's a powerhouse. I would have liked for Queen to go with Tommy Chaplin from Keane. He did some wonderful covers.
As others said he released an opera single with Montserrat Caballé the famous opera singer. Freddie's voice was categorized as a tenor even tho he had not problem switching to baritone and back again. He really had a unique voice.
This is one song that both Freddie and Adam Lambert excelled at singing. Freddie wouldn't sing it every night because he had problems with nodules in his throat but when he did it was amazing. To see how Adam Lambert was amazing performing this I suggest you watch the performance of him with Queen at the Isle of Wight. ruclips.net/video/9C6DPHosZZg/видео.htmlsi=L8F7TSCC26pw6xfM Roger Taylor said he never heard it sung like that before. Brian May said that there are some nights Adam sings that he gets so caught up listening to him he almost forgets to play his guitar. Adam sings it at every show. He doesn't play an instant but spent years studying vocal training so his voice is his instrument.
You want to see something awesome? Look up Green Day crowd singing Bohemian Rhapsody. If there's ever any proof that Queen is going to be around forever than would be it. I kind of feel sorry for Green Day having their concert stolen like that.😂 And AB you have got to watch Highlander at some point. Great movie with the soundtrack done entirely by Queen. Each band member contributed at least one song. This song was Brian's contribution. Freddy contributed a song titled Prince's of the Universe, which has scenes from the movie in the music video, as well as having the lead actor from the film (Christopher Lambert) make a guest appearance.😉
This video was filmed in a warehouse in the East End of London with the National (British) Philharmonic Orchestra, forty choirboys and several hundred candles.
Yes in the 80's hairstyles seemed to be worn by both men and women LOL a lot of high school girls literally got perms to have hair like Jon Bon Jovi or Richie Sambora 😂
The band is still very much active thank God. They just completed their Rhapsody Tour last leg Japan. Sold out every single stadium. I went to see it twice. I'm telling when "Machines" comes on people lost their minds every time. Queen and Freddie = in our hearts forever💖. Thank you for this reaction.
Love all your Queen reactions! I agree that you should check out the live version from 1986 Wembley. A few others to check out that you haven’t White Queen 1975 Hammersmith Odeon and 1981 Montreal Dragon Attack.
They are still going. Still touring and selling out concert halls at 70+ years old. Adam Lambert is out front with Brian May still making his guitar sing and Roger Taylor still shredding his drum kit. Not a Freddie imitator. Adam brings his own touches to the music while respecting Freddie’s vision.
One of the songs from the 1986 Highlander film movie soundtrack! Each member of Queen wrote a song for the movie: GIMME THE PRIZE & WHO WANTS TO LIVE FOREVER (Brian May) PRINCES OF THE UNIVERSE (Freddie) ONE YEAR OF LOVE (John Deacon) A KIND OF MAGIC & DON’T LOSE YOUR HEAD (Roger Taylor). The movie is definitely worth a watch. 🛡️⚔️⚡️
Awesome song and band!! Please find/do a reaction with Freddie doing a duet with Monserett Caballe an opera singer- name of the song is Barcelona!!!!! It's truly outstanding and it will leave you without words. Love Queen!!
Queen has NOT retired...They are still playing concert, and 2 of the original members Brian May(Guitarist) and Rodger Taylor(Drummer)are still rockin out...The only change made was that they now have Adam Lambert as lead singer. On an unrelated side note... You need to react to some Eagles songs...I looked through your list and the only song by the Eagles I found was Home Free covering 7 bridges Road. PLEASE find your way to an EAGLES song, you will not be disappointed! The song "Hotel California" seems to be a popular choice for other reactors, but IMHO,anything by them you choose would be great! Thank you in advance...🙂☺
Part of the Highlander Trilogy along with It’s a Kind of Magic and Love of My Life. Both of which are outstanding. I prefer the live versions which will give you chills.
Yes, he did hold the notes. Freddie mercury had one of the most magnificent voices ever he sang opera. In opera, you learn how to use your lungs so that you can hold the note. Extremely high and this goes to the movie Highlander. So after you listen to this song, watch the movie Highlander, and you will understand Brian May wrote this song for the movie Highlander. And then this video there's this one and another 1. And I was in the eighties and the seventies and the sixties etc. Yes, we wore our hair big men. Generally, just straight long hair. Bryan Mae has naturally curly hair. And he is worn his hair like that for as long as I can remember, but women, it was big hair anyway. Yes, he can hold a note absolutely magnificent. There has been no one that could match a meat considered 1 of the most beautiful voicesays ever and he thought it was his extra teeth that gave him that voice that is not true. Anyway, iyes, that was him. You'll be surprised how many of the bands are able to do it. People can't do it anymore and you hear them. Take a breath and then you're not supposed to hear Anyone. Take a breath in true singing and an opera. You're never ever supposed to hear a breath
Always enjoy your reactions, thank you for this one. Some day, probably on your own time if you aren't going to do it as a reaction, you should treat yourself to listening to this song performed by Freddie Mercury and Queen live in Budapest.
I capelli di Brian May sono famosi ed iconici da oltre 50 anni e pure adesso che è sono bianchi li porta ancora così. Uno dei più bravi chitarristi al mondo dal suono caratteristico . Anche la sua voce è bella.
The Hair Style: that is Brian May the lead guitar player who always had long curly hair..,throughout Queen's career..and plays piano and organ and has a great Voice..Queen had not back up singers, Brian and the drummer were it......
Got to remember, a lot of radio stations refused to play rock then refused to play heavy metal. so the charts reflected that. Better off going by album sales or play lists until the 90s.
React at to the live version at Wembley. No orchestration or choir. Just the 4 of them and just as powerful, especially Freddie:s voice Please also react to Play the game live at Milton Keynes
That style of hair in Americans of the 80s was known as the Farrah Fawcett cut. Farrah was one of the women in “Charlie’s Angels” look her name up and you’ll see why even The Bee Gees emulated that cut and style.
That's Brian May excellent guitarist. That's his real hair
Guitarist Brian May wrote this song for the movie Highlander soundtrack. Brian still has the same hair just thinner and gray😊
Great song ❤
I didn't know he wrote it. Cool!!
Yes.. stop making fun of Brian's hair... it still grows that way.. lol... Love me some Brian.. since the age of 15!
In the sicties an seventies it was everybody that had Long hair. All 4 members wrote the soundtrack to Highlander a movie about immortality.
Brian was born with those curls. He’s been wearing them long for over 50 years.
This song from “Highlander” refers to the love between an immortal and a mortal.
Freddie actually released an opera record also. There will never be another like him
Yes he held the note!!!! That's Freddie!
Sir Dr. Brian May on guitar with that fabulous hair.
Queen did the Score/Soundtracks for the Movies "Higlander" and "Flash Gordon" in the 1980's......
My fave version is at Wembley 1986……you should really check that out as well.
It’s also the soundtrack for the 1986 movie Highlander about immortality
Great reaction, thank you! Brian May( lead guitarist) & Roger Taylor (drums) are still playing concerts to this day with Adam Lambert as lead vocalist as Queen + Adam Lambert. They are still as good as ever! More Queen pls, any Queen song is a good song & they were almost always better live! Liked & subscribed. Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺
Watch them live and you will learn how long he really can hold a note.
This man is from another universe.
Там он ниже пел.
He is/was a conduit to the ethereal, the sublime ... to God. The Mozart of the 20th century
RIP FREDDIE!!! SO PROPHETIC...and to think he was gone just a few short years later!!!! great reaction man!!! Peace out man!!! HUGZZZZ
Brian May came out of his mother with that hair. The rest of us could only strive for that kind of perfection with $150 of styling products, a teasing comb, a curling iron, and serious pain.
Yes in the 80s us girls had the BIG hair and most guys either had a mullet or long hair
Man I loved being a teenager in the 80s
I sure had the big hair! Great times! LOL
Brian Mays real hair to this day. Freddie was the lead singer, but all members of Queen are fantastic singers.
You are so right, Queen music will never go anywhere! It is timeless, and will live forever. This song was one of the songs that they wrote for the movie Highlander. Freddie could sing the phonebook and I would listen. Thank you so much for the reaction and have a great day.
Great reaction you should see it live at Wembley if you haven't already. Goosebumps 😊
Great song written by Brian for the Queen Soundtrack for the movie Highlander.
It's true the music makes them immortal. I discovered Queen when flipping through channels in 8th grade in 1991 and stumbled upon Freddie's memorial concert. Still became one of my core lifetime music groups even though he had just died and I remember that concert over 30 yrs later.

Love everything about this version ❤️ Brian and Freddie sharing lead, John Deacon on the stand-up Bass, the orchestra and the choir....
They were exhausted from touring. They were 20 minutes from HIGHLANDER. They Loved the movie concepts. Decided to do the music. Amazing songs.
Queen, performing LIVE... IS so much better
Instead of unisex bathrooms in the 80's, we had unisex big hair. You should have seen mine, had a 6" lift kit on them bangs LOL
OH and they still are Queen, Adam Lambert is their front man now.
The "Who waits forever anyway?" at the end was always my favorite part.
In the 80's they had what is called "hair bands" Because everyone had big poofy hair.
NO ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! Queen was NEVER a hairband! Yes Motley Cruew, Bon Jovi Poison, ect were hairbands
Queen is still touring! I saw them in Nashville not long ago. Adam Lambert is a powerhouse singing with Queen.❤
Yuck Lambert Please !
I'm no Adam fan but he did do justice to this song at the concert. I think it was his best performance. Overall I can't say he's a powerhouse. I would have liked for Queen to go with Tommy Chaplin from Keane. He did some wonderful covers.
It’s only half of Queen that’s touring .
They had enough hits to fill 3 Greatest Hits albums. They had hits which didn't even make it onto those 'Greatest' hits compilations too.
All true 🥇🔥💯
As others said he released an opera single with Montserrat Caballé the famous opera singer. Freddie's voice was categorized as a tenor even tho he had not problem switching to baritone and back again. He really had a unique voice.
This is Heather's song. If you know, you know 😊.

Heard this hundreds of times & still chokes me up🥺♥️
Imagine being immortal& falling in love with someone who was not. You would have to watch them grow old& die. All of your friends& family too,
This video was filmed in a warehouse in the East End of London with the National (British) Philharmonic Orchestra, forty choirboys and several hundred candles.
The Permanente Wave, aka "Perm," was a very popular hairsyle in the mid to late '80s.
Love Queen it’s a shame Freddie is gone,no other like him.
Yes in the 80's hairstyles seemed to be worn by both men and women LOL a lot of high school girls literally got perms to have hair like Jon Bon Jovi or Richie Sambora 😂
“Queen” still hasn’t retired. They still perform with Adam Lambert singing lead vocals.

That's John Deacon in the red jacket playing the double bass.
So beautiful!!🔥🔥
Thanks AB!!❤❤
Love all your Queen reactions! I agree that you should check out the live version from 1986 Wembley. A few others to check out that you haven’t White Queen 1975 Hammersmith Odeon and 1981 Montreal Dragon Attack.
❤❤❤ Таких песен больше не пишут и не поют 😢
The angel wings behind Freddie. ❤
Check out Freddie with Monserat Caballe (I likely misspelled her name) singing "Barcelona" Well worth your time.
They are still going. Still touring and selling out concert halls at 70+ years old. Adam Lambert is out front with Brian May still making his guitar sing and Roger Taylor still shredding his drum kit. Not a Freddie imitator. RIP sweet Freddie. You are truly missed❤
I fell in love to this song when I first watched the Highlander. So beautiful
Best version is live from Budapest. Definitely worth a reaction!
One of the songs from the 1986 Highlander film movie soundtrack! It's amazing The whole talent of the band Each one was perfect for one another to be in this band
you have to be kidding, no one can outsing Freddie other than Adam Lambert. They are the greatest live rockband in history.
I have Freddie and Chris Cornell as my two top faves ever! Thankfully in two different genres.
Not even Adam can sing as well as Freddie Mercury!
Awesome song and band!!
Please find/do a reaction with Freddie doing a duet with Monserett Caballe an opera singer- name of the song is Barcelona!!!!!
It's truly outstanding and it will leave you without words. Love Queen!!
Such a great song!! So emotional

Yes, we could not tell us apart from the back. Also the fro or jerry curls were in style, no matter your race.
One of Brian's finest works.
Greatness
Freddie is brilliant❤
I capelli di Brian May sono famosi ed iconici da oltre 50 anni e pure adesso che è sono bianchi li porta ancora così.

Chills. ❤❤❤❤❤
Need to check out the movie Bohemian Rhapsody if you haven’t already. Such a great movie about Queen and Freddie
Beatles still hold all the records
🎼🎼🎼♦️ ... Bravo... ♦️🎼🎼🎼
Everything was bigger in the 80’s including hair, everyone. Hairspray by the truck loads. 😂
The live version is great also
That’s just Brian May’s hair. When he wore it shorter/more “tame”, he just looked funny.
Please, please react to Princes of the Universe! PLEASE!
Absolutely! Also from the Highlander movie.😊
❤Great song ....
Guy - Girl hairstyle - 80s
The Shag 🤷♀️😁
We all had long hair and perms 😂💜👵🏼✌🏼
I see you reacted to a movie recently so I‘d like to recommend you watch Highlander, it‘s a real trip, lol!
React at to the live version at Wembley. No orchestration or choir. Just the 4 of them and just as powerful, especially Freddie:s voice

Yes, the 80s, especially in the music world, was very gender fluid
Not that it tops it, but you really have to check out this song by Queen and Adam Lambert
First time hearing this song
Sir brian may same hair but white now all natural
He still has his hair like that but it’s white
One of his last performances before his death😢
Well, the video was shot in '86, and they did a tour after and released two additional albums before his death, so from five years before he died.
Wrong. Not one of his last performances.
That style of hair in Americans of the 80s was known as the Farrah Fawcett cut. Farrah was one of the women in “Charlie’s Angels” look her name up and you’ll see why even The Bee Gees emulated that cut and style.
80s= BIG HAIR
Watch the film Highlander then you'll understand the son a lot better
innuendo :)
Yes, don’t repeat the same song. Let’s hear it either one you pick.
Not even listing to the Words ! Wow worried about his hair
He was already pretty I’ll at this point. So sad
You sir are not immortal. Freddie Mercury is. Try again.
You have no emotions.
