Very moving vlog. We stopped off in Normandy on our way back from Spain with our caravan. Apart from the vast cemetaries of war graves we also came across a surprising number of cemetaries with just half a dozen or so graves while tootling around on our bikes. Also surprising was a large cemetary near Dunkirk which was divided in 2, German soldiers in one half and Allied in the other. In the Allied section there were also the graves of Egyptian soldiers .
Thank you. We usually find it difficult to film and include visiting these memorial sites in our videos. There's so much tragedy and we don't want to trivialize places like this and make it into 'tourist sites' . But we still want to go there for our own reasons, and we want to take our audience along.
Hey… thanks for an interesting vlog… so sad …all wars… and always such young soldiers 🙏💙 Le Mont st Michael is awesome… busy but unique … hope you can be there this time 😍😎🌞🚌🌅
Thanks Chelsea & Mike! Hope you survived those crazy via ferratta? We saw some in Peja, Kosovo but you'll never find me (Lisa) on one! 😜 Happy travels! 😊
😢 A Sad place indeed I was born 2 months before that part of the War "ended " But in my almost 79 years there has been War on some Continent.. Greed and Intolerance Unfortunately there's no Money in Peace We Have a Beautiful Planet 😊 THE LAST WORD EVER SPOKEN ..WHY 😢 Stay Free and Safe Travels 😀 🙏 ✨
