Lovely to see your video featuring Dinan again hope the weather was good enough for you to visit the beautiful towns of Quimper,Vannes etc on the west coast of Britanny. Keep up the great videos hope you reach 20 k very soon.
To be honest, we had LOADS of plans for Britanny. The weather had other ideas though. 😬😋 All the places you mention is still on our list. It's a really interesting part of France. Thank you for your comment!
Bretagne is my happy place, have a place dead centre in Guerledan, largest lake in Bretagne. Don't write off going inland, very very quiet and beautiful forests. Make sure you try the galettes and cider.
Yes! We actually did spend quite a bit of time inland as the weather turned. We were also lucky to met someone who made sure we try some of the locally produced cider.
Hi Both. Christine and I only recently found you, we're caravanning Brits living in SW France, and you have just reminded us that we need to revisit Dinan as we've not been there for over 30 years. Enjoying your vlogs, thank you.
Hi David! Thanks for your comment. Dinant is an interesting city - well worth returning to! But that's France for you, something amazing around every corner. ❤
Wonderful video of Britany, never new it was so beautiful. Had to open my Google maps and mark Dinan as a place I want to see. And then I have to find dinner as watching all that food has made me hungry. Have you thought of adding a video or two of the food making, that risotto dish looked amazing.
Just back from France. Went to Dinan for a couple of days after watching your vlog earlier in the year. It was so pretty and the Kouign Amann was fabulous! Loving your Denmark vlogs too.😊
Hey André & Lisa, what a lovely video. I so agree with you that you often stumble across these little gems when you’re traveling by motorhome. Lovely cyclepath next to the river to Dinan 👍, and what a beautiful little Town, love the buildings definitely a must see. Have a nice week 👋
Thank you, Rita! Dinan is lovely and we highly recommend it. But as you say, it's the joy of surprise finds that really make this kind of travel wonderful. ❤
Great vlog.. we too love Dinan .. and Brittany actually … and I am so surprised Lisa…you didn’t have at least one scoop of ice cream to share even … we often share just a scoop. 😘 so many pastries 🥐🌟
@@WeWillNomad Lol 😂 love it… well I do eat slower than Drew .. so I understand Lisa’s feelings!!! But flexible rules are good🤩🍦🍦🕉️ Have a great day with maybe an ice cream or two 😘
Hi. Just watching this video and, having also watched previous breakfast content, i was wandering what that thing you make the toast on is called and where can we get one from . We make toast on a dry fryingbpand which is ok but your toast always looks great. A link would be nice? Great content by the way.
This 'toaster' works relatively well but it's important to remove all loose crumbs else they burn and will cause smoke (which triggers our alarm 😁) amzn.to/47KOA9O
Yes a really nice area to explore, I think a mad dash south is probably your next move to avoid bad weather 😕 it looks like Zaragoza in Spain, before you'll see any improvement 🤔😁😁😁👍👍👍
Dinan is surely nice but surely too, not the only place to be visited. Drive south discovering "golfe du Morbihan" then entire north worst too up to brest, then Quimper area famous for painters....
Brittany is great for cycling, canal paths and disused railway lines. We have found that outside July / August it is very quiet and lots of shops closed. It's a pity that in many parts of rural France the villages are in decline, France is becoming very Paris centric
Brittany inhabittant grown. But only in big cities or long of the coast. 300 400 inhabitant per km2 long of the coast. 30 in center brittany. For france , all the west coast is more and more settled. For resume france is empty around paris and inhabitted more and more long of his coasts and long of rhone rhin.
Lovely film, Dinan looks stunning (and a quick Google revealed plenty of Vegan choices!) We always love your films, but the breakfast sequence and Lisa doing yoga basically wrapped in a duvet were highlights! From a wildly windy Ireland 🤣K & N x
@@WeWillNomad ahhhh - just editing some footage of a *quite* scary cliff walk!! It was wild, but I think we're far enough north to have avoided the worst of it 🙏
Congratulations couple, you are wonderfully happy and expressive, nice video. I'm discovering your videos and I love them!! I hope one day I can also enjoy with my wife and travel like you do. I am from Oviedo, capital of the Principality of Asturias. If one day you come here I will be your free guide if you want, I will take you to try the typical pastries here "Carbayones" from the "Camilo de Blas" confectionery😋 and "Moskovitas" from "Rialto" a kind of very crunchy cookies delicious chocolate 😋.
You need to leave France before you gain 10kg! Hope you managed to miss the storms. We travelled to the south coast to avoid the worst of the weather. I’m sure I saw in a previous video but remind us what kind of toilet you have now? Is it a separett?
😁 Too late! We might have to rethink our pastry addiction. 🤔 Unfortunately we got a LOT of rain but did make our way south. Yes, we replaced the cassette toilet with a Separett Tiny. Almost a year ago now.
Andre, Lisa Your map at the beginning is wrong. You’ve forgotten all the region around Nantes, where stands the castle of the Breton dukes. This “departement” - Loire Atlantique- definitly belongs to the historical Brittany and the people overthere consider themselves as Breton. Furthermore, the breton language was spoken in the Guerande peninsula till the end of the 19 century …. All the best
Thanks for that. 👍 It's annoying (and confusing) when it's wrong like that as we rely on Google to quickly show maps in our videos - if you type "Brittany" into Google Maps that's what shows. We'll have to pay attention to this in future.
2600 views and only 226 likes...lot of free loaders out their in RUclips land...come on people , give a 👍 and help these folks with petrol money.. it's not as though it cost you anything!!.❤️🇬🇧🇨🇵
😀😅 We're gonna need a LOT of likes to make a dent in our fuel bill! Thanks for your comment, we really appreciate it. ♥ It's hard to make semi decent videos while on the road full time and although it's not like we expect or want to make a living off of RUclips (spoiler alert) it's still nice to have the effort appreciated.
@@WeWillNomad you posts are of a high standard and deserving of more subscribers and likes.. I've tried my hand at video making and I can tell you it's not easy and takes a lot of time and effort.. looking forward to your next post...stay safe!!.❤️🇬🇧🇨🇵
Thanks! There's a lot of competition in the 'travel genre' (and sadly a lot of junk) - which makes it hard to be found on RUclips - especially if you don't use click bait thumbnails or titles. We really appreciate our regular viewers who take the time to comment and we're just happy to be building a small community who we can connect to.
Blasphemy ! Kouign Amann is not a specialty of Dinan but of Douarnenez in Finistère in the west of Brittany. Besides, Finistère is the most beautiful place to visit in Brittany... and in France! 😅

Did you see it when it was drained it was amazing
I am cycling through Brittany and heading west from Rennes, do you recommend any local ciders ?
I live in Dinan and I am happy that you came to visit my city and my beautiful Brittany. Have a good trip! kenavo
Thank you!
Really beautiful town. Such pretty buildings & a stunning aqueduct. Lovely gesture to share your bike!
The French towns are so beautiful! Some are better known than others, but there's so much beauty all around. 😍

Thank you! Maybe we should do some "camper cooking" as extra videos! 😂
Good evening 🙂... Dinan 😻 Lisa, that butter cake made my mouth water 🤤.
Thanks again for sharing 💙
It tastes a s good as it looks. And we saw in the upper village they were ever so slightly 'cheaper' than in the port... 😋😀

Dinan is one of our favourite places, we have visited there many times in our motorhome and never get bored with the place. 👍
It was SUCH a surprise! If only the weather behaved, we would easily have hung around that area for a while.
You earned a new subscriber.
St Mali and Dinard are nice too
Thanks for the tips! 👍😊

Share a scoop of ice cream? 😄😋😀 Lisa does NOT share her ice cream! 😀 I tried that once... Not a good idea (Andre). Thanks Jo! 😄❤

Some beautiful old villages but many are certainly shrinking in population. It shows unfortunately.

😂 Glad you enjoyed it! Please just don't go doing any crazy runs or hikes in this weather! Stay safe and warm inside Nellie! 🤗

Dinan the most amazing place ❤❤❤
It really is!
May I asked what toilet system you have if no cassette to empty please
We have the Separett Tiny. There is a video on our channel of how we made the change

We replaced our cassette toilet with a Separett Tiny, just about a year ago. There is video somewhere on how we did it.
Ok. Yes remember that thanks.
Don't rely on google to drive your way not mussing best spots ever! By the way, go to quiberon too woth it's breathtaking coastline
Thanks Annie! 👍

Super bo n❤🎉
Very informative but why all these vlogers film with their faces taking half of the screen?
Because 'their' arms are not long enough?
Enjoying the videos but please.....less drone footage. That is not how people see the landscape.
Thank you! Drone footage provide a perspective - which most people never get to see.
