Me too! I believe she did state she was wanting to come back in industry. I would fully support her and would listen to her music. Jojo really had Karma hit her hard! As she tanks, abused kids, and hangs around creepy adults. Brit is rising! And it’s ironically because of Jojo’s Karma.

Edit: I agree with the comments below: if you're depending on your child to finance your mortgage and pay your bills, it's very difficult to discipline said child and to tell her "No!", thereby spoiling her. I’m just a tad bit concerned about another thing though. I am so glad that Brit gets the recognition she deserves again. But I hope fans are not badgering her too much. If she did quit the music industry like so, and if she is just happy with who she is in life now. Then we should let respect her and let her be. The dedication and love that I see people give her is so wholesome. But let’s remember if she wants to come back, she should on her own accord. It sucks that one music that flopped basically killed her career and made her leave music all together.
But if she really finds this as her calling to start singing again? Then good on her! Whatever happens, hope Brit is doing well!

Wow, not only is Jojo a horrible person now, but her mom is following right behind her. Brit has been nothing but nice about Jojo recording the song. Brit could have ripped her a new one, and she didn't and has relentlessly repeated that she doesn't blame Jojo and has no ill will towards her. Jojo goes and basically says she's a nobody by saying she doesn't even know who Brit is (yeah, right 🙄), and then Jojo's mom goes and hammers another nail in the coffin. Now Brit's song is better, and doing better, now they're hinting legal action. Ridiculous. Jojo was doing so well, and now she's just tanking her whole career. Karma did hit her like a B.

The song was written by Rock Mafia. I think it was a duo. Back then they did a lot of songs for Disney.
Brit told in an interview, that Miley rejected the song, and it was offered to her instead. She then recorded and produced it with Timbaland (who is seen in the music video as the priest). Producing is different from creating pure melody and lyrics, though the latter is the most important stage. The production and engineering though is what makes songs popular. You can see it with the re-released 1989 album from Taylor Swift. Originally, Max Martin was credited on the album, but he rejected to work on the re-recording. That's why the songs sound so different and the album kinda dropped. Timbaland made sure the "Karma's a Bitch" sounds so dope tho
Even if it’s true that she doesn’t have the rights to the song anymore, it ultimately doesn’t matter. Her name is out there again and if she wants to take this opportunity to get back in the music scene, this is her chance.

I never liked Jojo's mom. She is fake af. Acting like she is protecting her daughter, yet she is pushing her into "fame" and making her do things that she clearly has no talent for while also spoiling her and making her think that she is superior to everyone else. Btw, Jojo's whole album is going to be stolen or unreleased songs by other artists. And the fact that her mom would rather protect her from online bullying instead of preventing it in the first place is crazy. Let's be real, there was no reason to have an album of stolen songs if it's not you or your way of expressing yourself and your creativity. That's not an album, that's random spotify playlist sang by Jojo for no reason at all.

I don’t even think the rights issue is real. The two versions of different enough that Brit’s version stands alone. Think about how Taylor Swift doesn’t own her first 6 albums and has since re-recorded five of them. She still fully has the rights to do so.
If anything, one, in a legal sense, would treat Brit’s version like a “cover” of JoJo’s unless Brit personally signed something saying she would never release her version or anything of the sort.
