She's not wrong about the way songs are written and sold these days, but what's wrong is that she is kind of passing them off as her own. Like you said, she does acknowledge WHEN PRESSED that she isn't the author, but she dances around it and seems to act like she's as creative as someone like Taylor or Billie Eilish who are real artists and write their own stuff. There are still a lot of really great songwriters/musicians out there still, and she's not one of them, but really wants to look like one.

Some of the greatest songs were written by someone else, and covered made famous by a different artist. Some of the best song writers aren’t right for their whole catalogue. Some fantastic performers we would be want to be without, can’t make words weave in a workable way.
Each aspect is a talent. I can make performance look like breathing because that is how it feels for me, and if you put a piano in front of me I can compose for hours, but lyrics rarely hit me.
I’m very verbose in speaking and I think there partially why but I digress/
