- DIY How to assemble Ikea Idåsen desk with a customize tabletop. I bought the electric Ikea standing desk as my new sewing table. I got the white Thyge tabletop because the IDASEN desk doesn’t come with a white version. Also buying a different tabletop saved me 80 euros

Love the songs you choice, really nice video 😊
You are great !!!❤️👍👏
This video is really helpful. Thank you so much. Cheers
Well done!
Thanks 😊
Impressed!
Very beautiful
Thank you
nice work, girl =)
Hey, would you mind telling me the size of the screw and washer? Really appreciate your help.
Looks amazing👌
Didn't know they made it in white which i prefer . I have black and its very nice
Thank you. Very informative.
I really enjoyed the video and thank you for making it look easy. I wanted to use my old IKEA desk-top from a Jerker desk and was concerned about how to integrate it with the new IDASEN underframe. Can you please share the measurements as I am looking to do the same with my old desk?
For whoever asked about dimensions as well, I found this great article on Reddit www.reddit.com/r/IKEA/comments/fmze9z/idasen_tabletop_can_any_owners_help_with/
Very good video. This Thyge Tabletop is 120 cm length?
Very Very Good
What is the length of the arms that actually attach to the tabletop?
merci !! :)
Your welcome
Hi, new follower here from Puerto Rico. I hope you have a good night.
God bless + take care :)
Thank you and take care as well
You assembled this very well. Thanks for the tips. I'll be doing mine shortly on a 180cm bamboo desk top...
Pretty impressive ! you seem handy than most men here :)
I myself have a sewing machine beside my laptop on my table. And toolcase in between. :)
Can u put ikea legs like the cheap ones with this desk or not and how
Did the structure come with the screws?
It is not originally compatible with these legs right?
in step 1 you should make sure carefully that the metal frame holes
are-in-line with the tabletop holes , otherwise this video is very ... I MEAN IT .... helpful
Does it work with different table tops such as BEKANT table tops
i want the same color combination but in the smaller size (120 cm). Do you have any suggestions on what table top I can choose?
No I don’t know the names of the other table tops
Can u fit 2 Alex draws underneath it ?
Hi, you posted a link to the 146cm frame but the tabletop is 120cm. How does it works? Or did you use the smaller frame?
No the tabletop I chose is 160
Hey May I ask how is the desk holding up? I am planning on doing something similar! but I am worried that the thin screws want be enough to hold desk in place
Wondering the same. Usually you use inner nuts for this but I am afraid to mess it up :-(
@@zn8jt Hi ME - I have a thin bekant table top. I used normal 1,2mm wood screws with some washers and actually it's holding suprisingly well. :) No wobblines or issues!
@@taksdd Hey taksdd, thank you for your quick response! I'm going to use an oak wood table top on my Idasen which ist quite heavy. Anyway, I'll try your solution and see If it is sturdy enough. Otherwise I go with the inner nuts. Again, Thanks!
@@zn8jt Hi Me, No worries :-) I have two very large monitor stand poles (>1m height) attached to the side of the desk. On that I have 2x 28" screens. The gravity actually does it's job. I also bought inner nuts just in case. Inner nuts will be better if you ever plan to disasemble the desk as unscrewing and screwing things back to wood isn't the best idea :-)
@@taksdd perfect, sounds like you are well equipped 😀
❤
💕
great assembly video. if you still using these desk: is it dangerous to put a full cup of tea on the table in ca. 100 cm height position. or its realy enough sturdy-not_wobbling? 🧐
I still have the desk and it is at any height sturdy
how do u adjust the height of the desk?
with the button or via the desk app
You did a great job with the assembly but you should've taken more time to show us the end result. You must have been really tired :-)
Is this the 160cm version ? Could you give the measurement of the actual frame from end to end
yes
I don't even have a ruler
Weird.. the holes weren’t already there ? I just bought mine with the holes no need for a drill
je suis sur que c'est un homme qui a monté se bureau
watching this to research the desk and realized the singer in the last song is my friend lmao it's a small world
beautiful u
6:47 oooweee ;-)
Upskirt :D
Good work, does it wobble in standing mode? I am planning to buy it, any thoughts from you, much appreciated. @MYSTYLEDIARYY
