She did a very very great job of explaining and demonstrating this. One of the best demos I've seen of anything. I saw this at the store today so I wanted to check it out and here it is.
Wow! Compared to other reviews I've seen on Treadmills this is by far the best one yet. The presentation was clean and concise! You definitely walked me from beginning to end while providing a great summary of your final impressions at the end. Great job, this really helped.
Great Jobs in Reviews this product very detail and understand. just bought Sole F80 replaced F85 for 10yrs she had because it slow starting and jerking..... Thank you for your Great knowledge with this treadmill and very helpful.
We are looking for a treadmill and good cushion ( due to past back ache) is a no 1 preference. It will be used by me and my husband for 5-6 days a week with max speed 8 to 9 and for approx hours (combined). We have these 4 treadmills in mind. 1. NT 6.5si 2. NT 8.5 si 3. NT commercial 1750 and 4. Sole F80. Which one would you suggest? Please advise if we should consider other than these 4 options. our budget is 1800-1900$. Thank you so much.
nice threadmill one thing is the usb power isnt that strong dont expect fast charging, mine seems about 300-700 mAH enough to keep my running tablets and phones stable at a percentage and maybe add 1 percent more for a 2 hour workout
I'm looking for a treadmill that I can set up a custom HIIT workout. I would like the option to set the NUMBER of intervals, the DURATION of work and rest intervals, and the SPEED AND INCLINE levels for each interval. Can I do that with this machine? And can I save my settings, if this is one of my go-to workouts?
I can't think of any treadmill that will currently let you program your own HIIT interval workout. Most have interval training programs that are pre designed, some have customized workouts but they're very basic and don't let you customize interval training. IF you find a treadmill that allows you to do that, LET US KNOW! That would be a great feature.
We have an update! iFit will allow you to create your own HIIT interval program. Then is syncs to your treadmill and your treadmill automatically adjusts to the program settings. That's pretty awesome. Another win for iFit. You can access iFit with NordicTrack and ProForm treadmills (or other lines put out by ICON Fitness).
The Nordic Track’s wireless heart monitor takes a full 3 minutes to connect - that’s if it connects at all. Even following the instructions and wearing it before starting a workout - it’s hit n miss. At times I need to restart the whole machine just so it recognizes the iFit heart rate monitor. Frustrating.
We haven't had that problem with any of the chest strap heart rate monitors from any line - yet. But one trick to the chest strap, it requires a bit of moisture to get a good read. Maybe you take about 3 minutes to build up a sweat so you don't see a connection until them. I'll wet the back of the chest strap a bit before putting it on and get a good reading right away.
I enjoyed your review on the 2017 NordicTrack 1750 Commercial to the point I've gone and ordered one but this review kind of makes me wonder -- is the Sole _that_ bad? It almost feels like an unfair comparison -- almost feels like you despise reviewing the Sole, almost totally the opposite of how you reviewed the NordicTrack. Yet there are many people on the 'tubes that say the Sole is better in terms of blah blah... my money is on the NordicTrack (pretty much literally... I take delivery in a week)... but what about the iFit features? It feels like such a rip-off having your fitness data held hostage for $40 a month. With all the money shelled out on this machine one would think they'd allow you to OWN your data. It's either that or I get a FitBit or AppleWatch. How does the NordicTrack do in terms of tracking your fitness data if you decide not to pay the ransomware? Like, seriously if I wanted to shell out that much I'd just get a gym membership?
We definitely don't despise the Sole treadmills. They're our favorite treadmills in a few categories at treadmillreviews.com. They're notoriously sturdy with a higher weight capacity than most. But they are much simpler machines with far less versatility than the treadmills that come with iFit. Compare the Sole fitness app to the iFit program and you'll see what we're talking about.
Also, requiring the purchase of an iFit subscription was a bit of a curve ball and we were scratching our heads at that, too. But the more we've used iFit, the more we understand NordicTrack's push to get their customers to use it. It's AWESOME and basically eliminates your need for a gym membership. Currently, NordicTrack is offering iFit free for a year with a purchase of one of their treadmills.
