I received my Sole F80 today and had watched this video several times while I waited for it to be shipped and then played it as I assembled the treadmill. I’m a woman in her 60’s and assembled it all by myself in 2 hours, taking my time, thanks to these great instructions and tips. The light on the visor (I wore a hiking headband lamp I’d forgotten I had and dug out just for this after seeing the video) and lowering the upper sidearm cap to insert that one screw were definitely lifesavers!
Kathleen Miritello These are the reasons I enjoy making these videos! I’m glad I could help and I’m glad you got the treadmill assembled! Good job!! 💪🙂✌️❤️
Great job with your instructions on putting together this treadmill I give you 15 stars out of 10 the best part was that you took your time and showed the instruction book as you were going along building it. Its always better to see someone on video building this than reading the instruction book, awesome job
Thank you for the video... I didn't even have to read the instructions... I just watched the video step by step... it was easy to do... thank you for the video... I'm 5"2 , 140.... I originally payed for set up and delivery .... can't believe I was going to hire a company to do this originally... thank goodness their waitlist was 3 weeks to a month and I didn't want to wait... I just saved $168... they put it n the back of my suv... I took the peices out 1 by 1 still n the box in the back of my suv... with the help of my kids... Thank you

NOTE: This product works exactly as described. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxguEIMc_Qwab-3QMTpF6jaRL80hiOOsIN It originally earned a four-star review due to a minor defect (see below). However, the manufacturer's customer service rep (Lita) went above and beyond the call of duty and deserves five stars now. I wish I could give even more!I purchased this item which arrived quickly. Assembly instructions were easy to follow. There was only one problem: One bolt did not screw into the hole properly. I called the company. Their customer service rep (Lita) was terrific! She took all my information and submitted a request to replace the defective part. I'm hoping to finish assembly and start using this treadmill soon. (Fingers crossed...)FOLLOW UP: Lita called back to inform me that the company will send a replacement part AND a technician(!!) to install it properly. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Thank you!!
This is another very helpful video for anyone wanting to assemble a Sole treadmill. It should make it very clear as long as someone follows all the steps.

Going to echo what most have said about this video. Thank you! I brought mine home yesterday and completed the assembly all by myself. Barely looked at the manual. So excited!
A very thorough, easy and clear way to show how to assemble this treadmill. I bought mine at Dick's Sporting Goods. I opted for going the easy way and paid for delivery and assembly. BAD mistake! The contractor employed by Dick's messed up TWO, not just one machine! It's been over two months and still no treadmill functioning correctly. I could have saved myself a ton of headaches and started running two months ago. Great, great tutorial!

I am having the same problem of my belt keeps going to the right it's only been a few days so hopefully a few more turns and it's fixed but also at 5.0 running it makes a kind of louder whining noise but any other speed it's fine

Great video ! Just got finished assembling an F80, glanced at the directions twice but had the video running step by step. Getting the sucker on the bottom level with just my wife and I was tough. Took some creative work. With everything out of the box, the bed/main part must still be 200 pounds. Thanks !

GREAT instructions! Thank you! I haven't purchased this treadmill (yet) - Anyone who has had the SOLE80 for at least several months can comment on if the belt stays in place after adjusting it to the middle? I have read many reviews of this happening - and horrible customer service from this company.
I have not heard any complaints from the customer. I think it's a good quality treadmill for the price. Let me know what you end up getting. Thanks for supporting the channel. If you like power tools and tech, enter my ongoing GIVEAWAY if you haven't already.
Got it coming curbside eeeeek hope the wifey is gonna be able to help me lift it 🤣 how heavy is the running part ? And can it be carried sideways? Luckily I live in a 1 floor house . Just gotta go around to back (patio doors)
You sure made putting on the plastic covers on the top portion look easy. I’ve been screwing with it now for over two hours. Whoever designed this is an expert in torture.
SAME right now :( It's just the right one I'm wrangling with. I think the upper piece the screw goes into is misaligned. Nervous to push it over to hard and bend or break anything.
OMG I finally freaking got it. Required my 6yo holding up my phone flashlight so I could simultaneously push the female end inward JUST the exact right amount while also pushing through screw in, not losing tension with the screwdriver, without losing my line of site in there. Wow. I never want to do this again, haha.
Are there any wheels on this for easy transport to different rooms? My last treadmill had them and they were highly useful, I don’t think I want a treadmill without them.
Our Sole F63 has not been used for several years. The treadmill has been unplugged. We got it out plugged it up, turned on the main switch on the bottom and the display came on. The problem: the belt will not turn. My wife worked with it for a while with no luck. I worked on it. I set my weight, picked a program and got the belt to start turning. My wife keeps reading a message on the display, "Please set time." I've got the instruction manual. I've seen the 5, or so, steps in setting a program. Is there a "quick and easy" way to use this F63 treadmill please? Does it sound like a mechanical issue? Does it need lubrication, after being stored for a long time? ANY suggestions? Thank you! Please make a RUclips video on how to set this thing up to use!!! Thank you so much for doing what you have done with this video!
Thank you for the feedback. That’s what I intended when I made the video. Glad it helped out and I appreciate your support 🙂. I hope you and yours are well.
Thank you for these instructions. I just finished assembling mine. I'm not sure if mine was just wonky or what but Holy crap this thing is a NIGHTMARE to assemble. Nothing lined up correctly. Half the screws didn't want to go all the way in. The plastic housing didn't match up. I gave up on the plastic housing on the base. It just would not take the screws. You make this look so easy!
Thanks, helped a lot. We used it a few times. Couple things I noticed. There's been a shhhh sound from belt from beginning. I thought this was normal, but I felt under the belt and it feels totally dry. I thought these were supposed to be pre-lubed. Also yesterday after jogging on it, I put the incline to 15 and slowed the treadmill down. But the treadmill kept going at a speed faster than it should. I kept slowing it down, even to .5 and it was still fast. Any help would be appreciated.
Huaraches Verdes Thanks for sharing that feedback! Glad to know my video helped. That’s right, get that heart pumpin’, put that treadmill to work. All the best to you and yours 🙂✌️❤️
I think it would be a good idea to mention how to disassemble for the purpose of moving the treadmill through a door that is too narrow. Could you partially disassemble the bottom braces to separate the vertical and horizontal pieces? Thanks .....
MrJazzohjazz Perhaps on my next assembly. Unfortunately I can only make new videos when I go out to assemble a treadmill for a client. I appreciate you watching.
@@MasteringMayhem I finally realized that you can rest the entire system at an angle by matching the descending shaft into the guides on the side opposite of myself (I was standing in front and facing the treadmill) the I rested it on my head, tilted up like a hood of a car. Thanks for your thorough instruction. Helped a bunch!!
The video was good but I was unable to get the console to connect to the rails. I tried for an hour and a half and I eventually dropped it, probably breaking it. I was just not strong enough to hold both sides at the same time and get them to connect. Kudos to the rest of you who were able to do it. You are stronger than me.
I plan on putting my treadmill on carpet in a spare bedroom just as your customer did in this video. Do you think the mat Sole sells on their website is necessary to protect the carpet or is it a waste of money? Thanks.
I think it’s good to have a mat on carpet. You don’t have to buy the one on their website, but I do recommend getting a mat to protect the carpet. 🙂✌️❤️
Very good assembly instruction video. I've seen many videos and this is one of the better ones. Good camera work and lighting. Easy to understand and very concise. Thank you. Am considering purchasing this model and it will help me in my decision. Thanks again! I'm assuming the F85 goes together similarly?
Thanks for that feedback! I appreciate it. Yes, that F85 should be pretty similar, minor differences at most. Let me know if you do end up getting one or the other. I appreciate your support.
We missed up when pulling it out of the box and took the strap off. Is there a way to release the folding mechanism? We can not put it together like it is😭
I find step 6 to be impossible. The screws won't line up and keep falling off. What kind of long Phillips head bit are you using in the video? Is it magnetized? I'll try the tape trick tomorrow. Edit: a day later and I'm still struggling to get the screws in for Step 6. The problem seems to be that the posts inside for the screws don't match up, but you can't see where or how because everything is covered by what you're trying to attach. I can't imagine a better way to frustrate people than the way that SOLE designed this particular step in the assembly.
Can I disassemble the bottom as it is very heavy and wont be able to carry it to my basement by myself, I do not have anyone available to help as I live in remote area in the woods
They are not necessary, those are mor for aesthetics but also to keep people from getting scratched when bumping into the uncovered base and hardware of the machine.
Your video was so helpful my husband and I didn't even get mad at each other while putting it together! Thank you!
You’re very welcome. Glad to be able to keep the peace 🙂✌️❤️

This was such a helpful video. It would have taken twice as long, if not more, if I just used the instructions alone. You gave some great tips (tools, head lamp, etc... I actually enjoyed putting together the treadmill with you assistance. Great job!
That’s really great to read. Thanks for letting me know how much it helped you with the assembly. It motivates me to keep making helpful videos. I hope you and yours are well. Don’t forget to enter our power tool GIVEAWAY if you like tools. 🙂✌️❤️
Life saver! Thank you for the video!!!
vbubba801 You bet. Glad to be saving lives out there! 🙂. Enjoy your new treadmill.
Thanks for watching, I appreciate the support. 🙂✌️❤️
I hope the TT8 is similar? I get mine in about a week.
It should be pretty similar maybe a few different things with specific features, but that should be it. Thanks for watching, all the best with the TT8. If you like power tools and tech, enter my ongoing GIVEAWAY if you haven't already.
GREAT instructions! Thank you! I haven't purchased this treadmill (yet) - Anyone who has had the SOLE80 for at least several months can comment on if the belt stays in place after adjusting it to the middle? I have read many reviews of this happening - and horrible customer service from this company.
Great video - thanks!!
Great Job....Very Insightive ....Perfect Demo !
Still like the treadmill? Not sure if i should fork out more money for a different model.
Sorry you’re having that experience. It should pop into place. Unless there is something in the way?
Same experience...
@@HollyKnows1212 were you able to resolve it?
SAME right now :( It's just the right one I'm wrangling with. I think the upper piece the screw goes into is misaligned. Nervous to push it over to hard and bend or break anything.
OMG I finally freaking got it. Required my 6yo holding up my phone flashlight so I could simultaneously push the female end inward JUST the exact right amount while also pushing through screw in, not losing tension with the screwdriver, without losing my line of site in there. Wow. I never want to do this again, haha.
Thank you 🙏🏽 for the video
Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you!! Thankyou!!!!!!!
You’re very welcome 🙂
This was 👌
best video, helped immensely!!
You’re welcome. I’ve done quite a few, learned how to overcome the kinks over time. 🙂✌️❤️
Outstanding job!!!!!!!
Thank you 🙂✌️❤️
Awesome video!!! Thanks for the tips and instructions just finished putting mine together. I’m about to fire it up and get this heart pumping.
I will be building one tomorrow for my aunt and uncle! Hopefully this goes smoothly cause looking over the video like 3x makes it looks so easy😂
pro trick : watch series on kaldrostream. Been using them for watching loads of movies these days.
@Raul Zeke definitely, been watching on KaldroStream for since november myself :D
@Raul Zeke yup, I have been using KaldroStream for months myself :D
6:04 how the eff do you do that with out pinching the wires
I push the excess into the tube of the uprights. It takes a little finagling but you should be able to get the wires in there. I hope that helps?
@@MasteringMayhem I finally realized that you can rest the entire system at an angle by matching the descending shaft into the guides on the side opposite of myself (I was standing in front and facing the treadmill) the I rested it on my head, tilted up like a hood of a car. Thanks for your thorough instruction. Helped a bunch!!
Can you move it around after you assemble it?
Yes. It can be rolled around.
The video was good but I was unable to get the console to connect to the rails. I tried for an hour and a half and I eventually dropped it, probably breaking it. I was just not strong enough to hold both sides at the same time and get them to connect. Kudos to the rest of you who were able to do it. You are stronger than me.
Thank-you for this video!
Bhavjeet Basson You bet! I’m Glad it helped in some way 🙂✌️❤️
I plan on putting my treadmill on carpet in a spare bedroom just as your customer did in this video. Do you think the mat Sole sells on their website is necessary to protect the carpet or is it a waste of money? Thanks.
I think it’s good to have a mat on carpet. You don’t have to buy the one on their website, but I do recommend getting a mat to protect the carpet. 🙂✌️❤️
@@MasteringMayhem Thanks! I'm a new subscriber.
@@EatLeadPal you’re welcome. Thank you for supporting the channel. Enjoy that new treadmill 🙂✌️❤️
is it possible to adjust the two small legs at the back of the unit? They look like the legs at the bottom of a stove to adjust it for level
I don’t own a drill - can I still install it without ?
Is it common to get busted hydrolics fresh out the packaging?
Very good assembly instruction video. I've seen many videos and this is one of the better ones. Good camera work and lighting. Easy to understand and very concise. Thank you. Am considering purchasing this model and it will help me in my decision. Thanks again! I'm assuming the F85 goes together similarly?
Thanks for that feedback! I appreciate it. Yes, that F85 should be pretty similar, minor differences at most. Let me know if you do end up getting one or the other. I appreciate your support.
We missed up when pulling it out of the box and took the strap off. Is there a way to release the folding mechanism? We can not put it together like it is😭
Did you figure it out?
You can disassemble it but it’s not an easy task. I would hire someone to help you get it down the stairs if possible.
I don’t have the covers for under the handle bars. Are those necessary?
They are not necessary, those are mor for aesthetics but also to keep people from getting scratched when bumping into the uncovered base and hardware of the machine.
