I bought a treadmill not realizing what I'd be putting myself through trying to move the thing in a couple of months. All the treadmill disassembly videos deserve 100 stars. And this one was funny.
This was a life saver! I didn't know how I was going to move my treadmill where I wanted it because of the size and this made it so easy! Thank you!! 😀
This ol' widow and her three able bodied juvenile shipmates were able to navigate our behemoth of a treadmill to the other room. Thanks! Super helpful video, I was able to use it for my Sole F80.
Bro I really appreciate the time it took to do this video. We’re having new carpet installed and I had to get the treadmill out of there and forgot how it went together. This video saved the day. Thanks so much. This is what RUclips should be about.
Was about to hire two folks to move this. Super clear explanation. Just disassembled the treadmill, drove it to another location, and assembled in it. 30 minutes all in. Love it. Arrrrrrgh!
Dude, you saved me $500 ! I scheduled a tech to come out next week and take it apart so I can move it to a new house. Someone said, why not go online and try to figure it out yourself l?thanks Pirate Handyman- I figured it out with your guidance:) You rock!
Just wanna add my thanks to everyone else's! Previous homeowner left their treadmill in the small basement room and couldn't figure out how to get it out of there until I found your video. Also, if you're having a hard time removing the legs/console after removing the bolts, WD40 did the trick. Sprayed it and waited like 2 minutes and they pulled right out.
NOTE: This product works exactly as described. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxguEIMc_Qwab-3QMTpF6jaRL80hiOOsIN It originally earned a four-star review due to a minor defect (see below). However, the manufacturer's customer service rep (Lita) went above and beyond the call of duty and deserves five stars now. I wish I could give even more!I purchased this item which arrived quickly. Assembly instructions were easy to follow. There was only one problem: One bolt did not screw into the hole properly. I called the company. Their customer service rep (Lita) was terrific! She took all my information and submitted a request to replace the defective part. I'm hoping to finish assembly and start using this treadmill soon. (Fingers crossed...)FOLLOW UP: Lita called back to inform me that the company will send a replacement part AND a technician(!!) to install it properly. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Thank you!!
Not sure if you still read the comments of this video but I found it when moving and this was incredibly helpful. Wish I could buy you a beer. Thank you!!!!
Aye, matey, thank ye for the kind words. I read ALL of the comments, especially since I can learn things, too. And thank ye for the offer of the beer smooth sailin'!
YOU ARE A LIFESAVER. Thank you so much for making my life a BUNCH easier lol. I’ve moved often enough that this thread mill has made many a big strong man stretch his head and force it through some spaces. But that causes teeny damage each time 🥺. So now that won’t ever have to happen again. Thanks again!!
Thank you so much for this video! Trying to fit this treadmill through a small door frame in a old house, made me feel like I was about to walk the plank! Watched your video and within 10 minutes had through the door frame and setup. Thank you!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I am moving and had no idea it could come apart so am pleasantly surprised I can now do this and not leave it behind. I also really like the statement you had taped at the front of the unit!! lol.
Thanks for this awesome video. I had been trying to figure out how to move my SoleF80 treadmill from my living room into my bedroom. We knew even if we took off the door it still wouldn’t go around the corner. This video made moving it so easy. Thanks.
Excellent. Thank you. Nice and simple. I can't thank you enough. Friends are taking ours because we dont use it much anymore, this will be very helpful.
Sir, You have NOOOOO IDEA how your video HELPED ME!!!!!!!!! OMG....IT WAS CLEAR, EASY TO UNDERSTAND, AND Saved me a ton of FRUSTRATION. THANK YOU...NEW SUB HERE!
So weird I'm tearing apart my treadmill atm for disposal because it has died years ago. And figured it's probably a long shot but I'll RUclips it and this is the first video I came across witch is the exact model I'm tearing apart lol. Anyway very well done video. Thank you. You've earned a subscription here
I just got the 2023 model of the F63. Some of the things are different on taking it apart now. One of them is, Instead of a strap , there is a pin you engage to hole the board down when turning in it's side.
Thanks so much. They have a newer version out now for the SOLE F63. Side pinch confectioners for the power and the three side Allen bolt is actually four now . they have one on the front face side now. Watching you is like listening to my DAD🥲 he is passed now but you put a smile on my face and love the pirate Persona. My dad was a “land Pirate” Always chasing the Booty!!!) 😎 keep up the channel and keep being light to the world. One R at a time. From your, Mater of arms,
this is gotta be one of the best videos I've seen, you are really inspiring. Creating a brand on top of what happened to you, and i mean it in the best way, is really making the most of it. also, your video is veeeeeeery helpful. thanks!!!!!
Gotta respond 'cause this is almost too good to be true. Assembled unit was 1/2" too wide for the 34" door. Was afraid there were miles and miles of wiring and what-not that would take an expert to reattach. Almost contracted with a company specializing in moving athletic equipment . . . wanted $530 for the job, assuming there were no hitches. Can't imagine an easier job -- based on this video. I hope that "whatever gods may be" (cf. poem "Invictus") reward you handsomely! Much thanks, Matey! (PS - I'll do an update after I and my 50-year-old son get 'er done!)
I am only 30 seconds into this but I am SO excited already. Got this amazing treadmill during COVID but I must get it out of my office/dining area and into the basement! Let's see how it goes!! I also already hammered out part of my doorway molding and the thing still didn't fit through (older house like someone else mentioned).
My treadmill was a bit larger I think and had more bolts. I also had to take it down narrow basement stairs but it is down there! Thanks for getting me started and for all the tips!
Great video! I was trying and trying to figure out how to get that top piece off , removed those 6 bolts you did, but dangit, that thing is stuck! It will not budge. I then thought the cross member below it with the nut/bolt was part, but nope, removed it and still will not budge. I'll try a little extra uhmph tonight! Update: Used a little WD-40, slipped right on out! Thank you for the video!!!
Thank you for the video. I would love to have seen what it looks like with ratchet straps because I am still a little unclear and also can you just use rope or another binding source? I don't think I have ratchet straps but maybe bungee cords.
Aye, lass, though ratchet straps be preferred, ye can also use rope. I would be concerned about bungee cords because of the elasticity not holding the deck in place.
Aye, matey, great suggestion! The size can vary depending on the model, but you should only need a crescent wrench, socket wrench, or box-end wrench. Any will work.
My movers got stuck in a doorway because of the issue you mentioned. They had no idea what to do until I told them it was possible to squeeze things together again. They did that, used some wrapping plastic, and it was all good.
Aye, lass, you'll need to recruit a crew to help get it up stairs! Once ye detach the handle assembly it takes at least 2 people (1 in front, one in back) to get the treadmill deck up a flight of stairs,
Any tips on moving it? I have a handtruck and ratcheting straps to secure to with, but I might need additional tools if it need to be sideways . I’m (me , myself, and I ) moving my F80 from the basement to my garage to sell it.
Aye, matey, that be an issue! Do you have friends or family with a couple of strappin' lads that could help? If not, you will need to set the deck on its side on the handtruck, and secure it with ratchet straps. Good luck, me hearty!
What if I forgot to put a belt on the bottom after disassembling, somethings wrong when I try to put it back again , when I incline it the whole front part the handles all move along with the ramp , please if you could help.
At the very back of the ramp, on the bottom, is a yellow release handle. This will allow the ramp to come back down by itself. Once it come back down, you can put the belt on.
I bought a treadmill not realizing what I'd be putting myself through trying to move the thing in a couple of months. All the treadmill disassembly videos deserve 100 stars. And this one was funny.
