Chris is always showing every ounce of emotion in this album, from the breakdown in disguise to the alternate chorus bridge in this song, officially my favorite album they've released

My dad got me into rock with bands like Korn, Breaking Benjamin, Disturbed, and things along those lines and I’ve kind of evolved my love for the genre into the heavier more modern metalcore style. This album is literally the PERFECT fusion of all of that. I love it SO much.

It's so good seeing someone else who loves the rock aspects of this album and not shitting on MIW for it. I LOVE metalcore MIW but when they put out these rock songs like this, I get obsessed with them. I've seen a lot of metal elitist shit on this album because it isn't heavy enough. Who the hell cares if it's heavy or not? If it's good then it's good.

I feel like this could be a sequel to Eternally Yours... I noticed that in Eternally Yours chris says “and in the name of love” just before each chorus, and in this song he says “you were broken and bleeding in the name of love” in the final chorus? not sure if that means anything but 🤷♂️
He also said this album is basically a part 2 of Graveyard Shift so there’s some relative elements from the last record continuing on.
Chris said on Octane that this is a sequel to Eternally Yours 🤘🏻

this song is the sequel to Eternally Yours. Eternally Yours was written for Gaia when things were a little bumpy in the relationship, and now Another Life is kind of a ballad for her now that they are broke up

When I listen to a Metalcore album on Spotify and it plays through it automatically goes to a "suggested" playlist and I let it play through. I heard this play enough to learn all the words without ever knowing who sang it.. I legit thought it was Breaking Benjamin who sang it.

Having broken up with someone severely toxic and still missing her recently, this song pinches a nerve hard. Side note to answer who produced it. ZDrew Fulk handled instrumentals and JD from Ice Nine Kills worked with Chris on the vocals

This is my favorite song from the album. You can feel all the emotion Chris is portraying. Also the melody in my opinion sounds unique compared to other songs from the past albums.

The first thing that came up in my mind when I first listened to this song was I Hate Everything About You from TDG. The chorus sound so similar.

You should definitely check out MIWs new video documentary of the making of this album. It's awesome to see the progress and watching Chris and Ricky and Ryan talk about the album is equally hilarious and informational, didn't even realize how much Ryan screamed in this album. Also, it was Drew Fulk who did the audio and vocal mixing and production along with the help of Justin DeBlieck.

I came across this song about 6 months ago and it was my first exposure to Motionless in White. Such a great, yet said way to find them hahah, it's so good, but it's so hard for my expectations going into their other stuff
