I couldn't agree more about Chris. His voice is nothing short of incredible. One of the best vocalists of our generation IMO.

You hit the nail on the head with that Breaking Benjamin comment. This just sounds exactly like something you would hear Breaking Benjamin release. Don’t hate it at all.. actually like it. BB was a huge intro band for me when getting into heavier music. That’s my only gripe about it.
Motionless in white is my best friend's favourite band and she had me listen to this one. It's my favorite and forever will be for several reasons :)
I like most about this song is that the chorus lyrics are different everytime. Only the first 2 lines stay the same. Also it's nice to hear a song about being wrong and regretting not loving when you could.

Chris Motionless does have the [ 100% Complete ] Everything... Lyrics, meaning, fills, heart, screams, full set of lungs 🫁, pure emotion.

Not as heavy musically, but it is still emotionally heavy. Considering the song is about an ex of his, Gaia.

You guys are right about Chris being the perfect package for a vocalist (being able to sing and scream equally as great)
The only other two vocalist I would put on that list is Chester Bennington and Corey Taylor. So many great screamers, so many great singers, hard to find one person with both.

they are from the same area as bb and are friends of theirs. big props to my boy chris and the band. They are the hardest working band ive ever known.
I relate to this song on such a painful level, everytime I listen to it I feel like he's singing my heart's content out.
It has been almost half a year since my boyfriend ended it out of a sudden. No fight, nothing. He just left. And it left me broken. I literally consumed MIW's music almost like trying to fill some of that void. The more you understand what Chris is talking about in this song, the deeper it gets.

Omg you guys. I'm in tears. I love this song so much and it's helped me release so many emotions lately. Even with songs that are clearly meant to express feelings towards a romantic love I still relate to certain lines and apply them to my situations. This song makes me think of my dad. We didn't have a great relationship for my entire life...only since he got sick did our relationship mend. I always had issues with never being good enough in his eyes, or at least not as good as my big brother. He could sometimes say things that hurt me, even though I know he never meant it. Since losing him, I hate this feeling of heartbreak but at the same time, I need it because it shows me how much he meant to me. I think that song describes some of my feelings perfectly.
Anyways, I'm rambling. Thank you guys for doing this one! Love you fam!

While i've always found another life to be more akin to the three days grace side of that era of early-mid 2000s hard rock, I would really recommend checking out Holding onto smoke from the same album if you really want to hear Motionless hit that breaking benjamin sound.
