@@MattTheCarguy any chance you can get measurements of length and width of trunk space with both seats down?? i'm trying to see if i can slide a ice fishing pullover shelter in the back
@@zurikin It will be a while before I go back to the Lexus dealer, but if I remember I will try to get them for you. My suggestion would be to bring whatever you are trying to fit to the dealership and see if it fits. (they'll let you, trust me I've seen people bringing all kinds of stuff back when I used to work for dealerships)
Great review. I think this is one of the best daily drivers you can get right now. Fuel economy, assumed reliability since it’s a Toyota/lexus product, practicality being a hatchback/crossover, upscale interior, creature comforts like cooled seats and heated steering wheel. I’d love to commute in this on a daily basis.
@@MattTheCarguyhow low are the seats? Will my elderly mother have to do squats getting in and out of it? She’s 5 ft and needs a SUV she can easily put her feet flat on the ground and stand up.. I hear you mention the Corolla Cross, I’ve test drive that car, it’s seats are the perfect height, but I’d prefer a Lexus
I have the 2019 UX F Sport. 85000 miles and not a single problem. Personally I liked the trackpad functionality. I wish the rear cargo cover was a window shade type that retracted ,not the flimsy one they provide The same car today is $8000 more expensive than in 2019 with the wider screen.
Overpriced, too small - unusable back seat & much smaller storage area, run flat tires, CVT. Glad I went with a 2024 Audi Q3 - 35 more HP, 8 Sp. Trans, usable back seat and bigger storage area, no run flat tires, spare tire, better ground clearance, real leather interior, and a bit less $. Hybrid is a plus but too many other negatives when compared to the Q3.
@@MattTheCarguyNot worried so much about reliability, more about costs after warranty for any issues that do come up. This is the one downside of any of the German cars.
It’s intended to be small. It’s a small crossover for people who don’t want a sedan but don’t want a huge suv. It’s actually perfect for most people. If it’s “too small” for you, that’s your perception.
@@guppy360 Your correct but my point is that if you are going to spend 45k on a compact SUV I would hope the back seat could fit a normal sized adult comfortably, which the UX doesn't, for those times you may need to.
this is the first vid where i see someone folding down the seats.. thank you
Yo are very welcome!

I believe the reason that there is no spare tire is because the UX300h has run flat tires. I will be ordering mine in about 5 or 6 weeks.
Yes, it has run flats.

Thank you! Quite a bit more luxurious than Toyota.
I still like the UX even though it's a bit small.
Its tiny..... perfect for city dwellers.

@@looneytunes105 It's essentially a Lexus version of Corolla Cross, with very similar dimensions so if she liked that she would love this one.
I just scooped 2019 ux 200 F Sports same color like the video with 83K miles on it for 14K best car way better on gas than my Mazda and more stylish.
Nice! Congratulations!

Everything went up quite a bit in the last few years 😪
the backup camera on the base 300h is a disgrace
Surprisingly for such a high tech company their cameras are... not the best.
When do you think the 2nd gen UX will release?
Not sure. Probably within next few years. I havent found any credible info on it.
Does it require premium gas and wouldn't that negate the great fuel economy? Thanks
Great review
Regular unleaded is whats specified for this vehicle.
No. It’s not even “recommended,” unlike the NX.
What? No heads-up display?
You can add it for $900 on Premium Trim
It's a pointless upgrade
@@cvshav for $900 it is!
It's optional, but it should be standard.
We have it, have to sit low to see it, and takes your eyes off the road. The rear cross traffic radar, now that should be standard
NO SPARE TIRE! Just run flat tires😢
weight savings 😂
the roads in the UK are very bad
Same here.
I HAAATE THOSE TAIL LIGHTS. I CAN JUST SEE ME HAVING TO PAY $1000. TO REPLACE ONE OF THOSE GLOBES. NO THANKS.
Thanks for sharing 😀
Far to much road roar
It wasnt bad.
@@MattTheCarguy Its the run flats they are very rough on the road.

I drove the Q3 as well. Nice SUV. Reliability would be one thing I'd worry about.
