And always wastes chapters like this one... Literally he s stalling soo F much for no reason. He should have finished vegapunk s message on this chapter
Nah it’s a way to trick the audience and the world of One Piece. In the coming chapters I believe Vegapunk will put the Elders in a false sense of security believing that he won’t reveal their existence……then he goes “SIKE, these 5 geriatrics and a weird creepy Shadow king control the world” then leading to a live broadcast of the 5 Elders on Egghead.
I love how once nami realizes that this is an elder star, or even just realizing robin is in danger, she instantly shift all her focus from running and protecting herself, to protectinf robin at all costs, and gives the comand to the rest to do so as well. Nami has 2 things she treasures more then money, children and robin. Makes sense she would be the one to lead the charge of defending her. Plus nice seeing Zeus again attacking saturn. Honestly curious how much that could do, given it is part of big moms soul
For reference, if Marcus Mars is 6 feet, via rough size comparison Vegapunks brain would be around if not taller than: -The Hollywood sign (in Hollywood hills) -a semi truck & trailer vertically - a brachiosaurus -almost 2 telephone poles -two London buses vertically -1/3rd the size of the leaning tower of piza
1. brook managed to cut one of saturns legs clean off 2. chopper tanked a straight hit by saturn 😭 3. Did Oda foreshadow the world sinking in water 7 considering iceberg wanted to build something that could make the entire world float? Cause if it's linked, then he's a genius.
Usopp didn't get a "moment" where the chapter focused on him, but him instantly springing into action, no freaking out or anything, when faced with a gigantic spider-demon still brought a tear to the eye.
I imagine the sea levels will rise to be level with the Red Line, flooding all the commoners and leaving only the celestial dragons. This is also probably another reason why York wants to become one so badly, and could also be what happened to the world during the void century.
It would be funny if all the commoners took precautions and ended up being on the same level as the Celestrial Dragons because then they will no longer tower above lower class people.
Since we know for sure that the world is gradually sinking underwater, that may be why Impel Down is the way it is. It wasn't built to be underwater, level 6 was probably built first and every layer was stacked on top of the last to make it accessible despite the rising water level

After learning everything in laugh tale Rayleigh decided to make a ship coating business and Crocus decided to live inside of a whale. Oda was planning for this a long time ago
Lots of foreshadowing. Water 7 becoming a floating island. Royals taking the holy land from the lunarians. Maybe even no red haired pirates having devil fruits.
I believe it's just thematic, the elders talk about the Mother Flame at the end of the chapter. If they destroy Egghead, there will be no more Mother Flame. However, I am not Oda, so 🤷🏿♂️ im scared.
@@dwillmakingnoiseWell actually, Mother Flame might be WG's only hope now to stop the broadcast. Since even Yorck doesn't know where the real transponder is hidden, the most logical way out is to just blow everything up. There is no point of hiding if everything is destroyed. Unless Vegapunk predicted it too and the real broadcast transponder is actually somewhere far away... It could be in Dragon's hand just like how many already predicted.
@@sphinxtan9158 I also think so. The attack connected and pierce Chopper's fluff ball armour, but it's so fluffy that Satturn's strike didn't touch Chopper's small body inside the fur ball.
The one piece went from “the red line will be destroyed and the world will be ‘one piece’” to “ the one piece is a world without islands and one continent “
I love the chapter title "Stalemate" - it's a situation in chess, where you have the king (Vegapunks' brain) completely surrounded, but because he has no legal moves, the match ends with a draw!
I'll share it now before it gets disproven, but my big, pie-in-the-sky theory is that Vegapunk found out a way to give everyone in the world access to Punk Records. In 1067 he states that that is his goal, and I'm wondering if he found a way for the shape shifting transponder snails to somehow access and maybe even retain Punk Records data inside them, and maybe, by being connected to them for 10 minutes, he has "downloaded" and altered the snails enough to do this long term. Imagine every snail in the world being able to access and share data, that was Vegapunk's dream. Couple of side elements that help this theory: -Snails already shape change to match the person calling, Vegapunk could have studied this and found out a way to permanently alter the snails so they could act like both Satellites and Punk Records themselves. -Punk Records proper will probably be destroyed soon, and Vegapunk would have known it, so setting up a contingency, like his broadcast, seems likely. He would want to avoid the fate of Ohara. -sharing his brain over thousands and thousands of snails could counteract the issue of the size of the head in Punk Records being so big (although, Oda could just say the big brains of the snails just grow into their shells, and they have more than enough room, etc.) -Having him talk about a general scientific issue (the world is sinking) instead of about something like the secret history of the world buys him more time as the Elders may think he's not going to reveal anything that will compromise their cultivated power. -This would also justify the 10 minute countdown to ensure everyone stays connected as long as possible to give the snail download enough time to finish. -A snail based Internet seems extremely likely for One Piece and this is one way to jumpstart that.
@@axedrel211 While true, I have my theory that this is Oda setting something up for a Zoro character growth moment. I think Oda intentionally made Zoro fumble by messing around too much with Lucci. The second he felt Saturn's weird and strong haki or when the entire Gorosei showed up, Zoro should've ended Lucci and immediately rush to the front lines. We saw that he had the capacity to end the fight as early as possible, but he just didn't. The fact he messed around so much may have led to the current situation being as dire as it is. Maybe its cockiness or overconfidence in being a newly dubbed Yonko crew, who knows.
Bonney being able to stained up to Nusjuro after not being able to act against Saturn when he nearly killed her shows how much she has been inspired by both Luffy and the crew.
crazy theory: the weapon doesnt actually destroy islands… it sinks them, which is why the sea levels rise due to volumetric displacement. fishmen island was once a normal island up top until is was sank to the bottom of the sea
I like how in this chapter Oda takes his swords changing size concept to the max with Nusjuro's sword now being bigger than Sanji when it was held by him when he was normal height too.
Huh, you know it's quite interesting seeing that last panel with the whole world going under. The irony being two fold: 1) Otohime wanted for future generations to be able to one day visit and live among the surface people, and now we're finding out that might not be possible since the world is sinking. 2) With a lot of the prejudice around the merfolk, Fishman Island might be the only Sanctuary left for those on the surface to rush to, besides maybe the Red Line. A cool way to make Fishman Island (and the Ark relevant again). Also would be a nice twist to see that the Noah wasn't actually meant to bring the Merfolk to the surface but to help those on the surface escape the sinking world.
Yeah but all the cool things he's done in the last few chapters are kinda getting negated by him forgetting bonneys age and trying to show off why oda just stop it let him free of your curse.
Spot on about Goro's not having recent combat experience, along w their debilitating arrogance, and how these factors together nerf their effectiveness as an elite yokai commando unit. Strong agree, that feels very accurate and insightful to me, well done!
The 2 devil fruits BB possess are, 1. Tremor-tremor: To control the sea. 2. Dark-dark: To cancel devil fruit powers (so ability to swim returns too). I think he took this "world sinking into the ocean" into his plan too.
"The thousand sunny has never been shown in papers" proceeds to talk about ho people think Franky turned himself into a ship because his wanted poster is the thousand sunny.
I think the reason oda said that wano could give away a part of the one piece is because original wano being underwater could have people thinking Laugh Tale is underwater too, and if the world has been sinking since the void century then that’s likely where it is. You need the coordinates to know where to descend to the bottom of the ocean to find it
Imagine if Sakazuki found out that it was Kuzan that let Robin escape. His one-time friend and the man that he chose to *spare* which is something Sakazuki rarely does, and never lightly.
The flood being the (good ending) is really interesting. I could see it being an extreme version of joy boys promise being fulfilled. Joyboy deciding to do something so extreme could tie into all of his crew mates apologizing. They feel like they failed him and he lost his joy so he did something crazy
Theory: The world used to have a lot more land, similar to earth maybe. But the ancient war that happened raised the sea levels to their current levels. Maybe the whole "Luffy destroying Fishman island" will be him lowering the sea level?
I'm surprised people are surprised that Sanji encountered Nusjuro here. I was clued in as soon as Ethan started running on the coast to this exact sequence of events.
Yap. But people WANT Zoro to match Nusjuro, not include me. I like the idea of Sanji fighting a swordman, it is like a demo of Sanji fighting Zoro. If that kick was on Zoro's jaw with the mouth holding the sword.....
@@sphinxtan9158Zoro would defeat sanji he is second strongest in strawhat pirates and don't cope like sanji fans nusjuro is Zoro's opponent it's exactly like king beating sanji situation
@@vijayakumari8173 Don't be so sure, cuz' King never beat Sanji. King's rank was higher than Queen. Sanji beat Queen, that means Sanji vs King result is undecided. On Egghead, seraphim kicked Sanji in the face. Sanji was not moving at all, except getting his face dirty. And Zoro was still having a hard time fighting seraphim. Sanji was able to withstand Admiral attack, while Zoro defeated Lucci (I should remind you that Kizaru was giving Luffy some hard time). Sum these up, we get the conclusion, Zoro and Sanji is at the same level.
Vegapunks revelation makes me think back to Iceberg’s plan to make Water Seven a boat because it was gradually sinking (which now that I think about it, Water Seven is close to Ennies Lobby, which also has the gaping hole, possibly from a certain earth-alternating weapon). That’s crazy foreshadowing of Oda really intended for this to be a global issue way back then
I mean. Is it a coincidence at this point that Rayleigh went into Ship Coating and Crocus living inside Laboon? Both dudes are one of the select few with this intel.
If there is a bounty increase after this arc and Zoro doesn't stand off against an Elder, I think that Sanji's bounty will surpass his and probably Jimbei too
Did anyone else get a flash back to water 7 when Brooke, Usopp, Nami, and Chopper saved Robin from Saturn? Specifically the scene when Nami finds out that Robin doesn’t betray them and says something like “now that they know they can save her there’s nothing that can stop them” to Iceberg. Almost like protecting a friend can motivate our crew to any height.
I love these videos. I couldn't focus on all the small details in the chapter because I was so nervous and focused on the Vegapunk thing. So good to pick up the details here.
Vegapunk: The world is gonna sink due to rising sea levels. This is the secret they've been hiding for years! Exxon Mobil: Holy shit, they're on to us!
I think it's pretty interesting that when Nusjuro bites Sanji, the horse's head is sticking out of his chest while his actual face is still on fire. So it's anything but confirmed that they're not devil fruit users, not the typical kind anyway
Another interesting thought I'd be keen to get your ideas on in light of the news the One Piece world is flooding: Also, does this explain the weapon used to destroy Lulisa Kingdom? Perhaps, according to the WG, the solution to rising sea levels is to destroy islands in rebellion to create holes which the water can drain back into and reduce sea levels. When the sea levels have been appropriately rebalanced, the WG can then choose whether to recreate the island using Akainu's fruit and Greenbull's fruit? Akainu's fruit creates Magma which when it cools can harden to give land mass in the same way underwater Volcanoes contributed towards land mass on Earth; combined with Greenbull's ability to generate natural plant life and you can create a new world exactly as you see fit
Oimo & Kashii looking up also helps emphasize that Bonney directly copied Luffy in that moment as Luffy's Gum-Gum Giant is not in fact the size of an Elbaf Giant...but is the size of at minimum, Oars...since he used it to face off against Kaido's dragon form, which was massive even compared to a regular giant also...so Lulusia's destruction led to the sea level rising...what would happen, if the red line was destroyed then?
I find it interesting the bit of disjunction between the Elders. Mars proposed sacrificing the plant to stop the message and maintain the status quo, whereas Saturn and Warcury seem willing to risk the upheaval of the global order for the sake of the Mother Flame production. Makes me wonder if the World Government is about to go full martial law mode with Uranus.

Shanks Avoids Devil Fruits: Shanks and his crew avoid Devil Fruits, potentially due to knowledge of a future where such abilities could be a disadvantage. 4. Sanji’s Dream of All Blue: Sanji’s vision of All Blue, a sea where all waters merge, may become reality through the geographical shifts foretold by Vegapunk. 5. Water 7’s Evolution: Inspired by Tom, Iceberg is transforming Water 7 into a floating city, preparing for the possibility of a submerged world. 6. Noah’s Ark Role: Noah’s Ark, built for a great flood as per Joy Boy’s prophecy, could play a crucial role in saving lives if the world were to be submerged. 7. Marijoa’s Strategic Position: Marijoa, located at the highest point, serves as a strategic stronghold, potentially a safe haven in a flooded world. 8. 700-Year-Old Bridge: The bridge, under construction for centuries, symbolizes a long-term effort to connect the world, preparing for a unified future. 9. Imu’s Name Meaning: The reversal of Imu to “Umi” (sea) in Japanese suggests a thematic link to his influence over the sea and possibly his role in shaping a world covered by water. Luffy will soon party will the unified world ! Add some more if you think make sense! IF YOU ARE ONE PIECE FAN!!!!
Your mother rocks for this! What I loved most this chapter was the "weak" Strawhats immediately protecting Robin and fighting Saturn. That was so great to see. Props so Sanji for making Nasujuro bleed, and Brook for cutting off Saturn's leg.
Don't remember what Sanji said about the fishman that he fought in Arlong Park? "If that's how strong your punch is, then my old man Zeff's kicks are ten times more powerful." AND THAT'S WITH A FREAKING PEG LEG

Nami has 2 things she treasures more then money, children and robin. Makes sense she would be the one to lead the charge of defending her. Plus nice seeing Zeus again attacking saturn.
Couple of side elements that help this theory:
-Snails already shape change to match the person calling, Vegapunk could have studied this and found out a way to permanently alter the snails so they could act like both Satellites and Punk Records themselves.
-Punk Records proper will probably be destroyed soon, and Vegapunk would have known it, so setting up a contingency, like his broadcast, seems likely. He would want to avoid the fate of Ohara.
-sharing his brain over thousands and thousands of snails could counteract the issue of the size of the head in Punk Records being so big (although, Oda could just say the big brains of the snails just grow into their shells, and they have more than enough room, etc.)
-Having him talk about a general scientific issue (the world is sinking) instead of about something like the secret history of the world buys him more time as the Elders may think he's not going to reveal anything that will compromise their cultivated power.
-This would also justify the 10 minute countdown to ensure everyone stays connected as long as possible to give the snail download enough time to finish.
-A snail based Internet seems extremely likely for One Piece and this is one way to jumpstart that.
And so the one piece internet is born :D

I think thats fair because we all saw what Zoro did in Wano.
I agree since NOW she knows that Nika is real even thou Luffy is oblivious about his real devil fruit name and origin.
crazy theory:
the weapon doesnt actually destroy islands… it sinks them, which is why the sea levels rise due to volumetric displacement.
fishmen island was once a normal island up top until is was sank to the bottom of the sea
Could be, but anime version literally shown the island being blasted to bits with thousands alien lasers so...
When I seen Sanji land that kick I got so excited I cheered out loud, then Bonnie, and then Nami, Chopper, and Ussop! What!?! Super exciting chapter!
I like how in this chapter Oda takes his swords changing size concept to the max with Nusjuro's sword now being bigger than Sanji when it was held by him when he was normal height too.
Huh, you know it's quite interesting seeing that last panel with the whole world going under. The irony being two fold:
1) Otohime wanted for future generations to be able to one day visit and live among the surface people, and now we're finding out that might not be possible since the world is sinking.

Oda back at it again with a banger
The flood being the (good ending) is really interesting. I could see it being an extreme version of joy boys promise being fulfilled. Joyboy deciding to do something so extreme could tie into all of his crew mates apologizing. They feel like they failed him and he lost his joy so he did something crazy
The most important thing was again overlooked. Bonney can copy a sun god. She can copy a giant... She most probably can also copy an elder star!
Theory: The world used to have a lot more land, similar to earth maybe. But the ancient war that happened raised the sea levels to their current levels. Maybe the whole "Luffy destroying Fishman island" will be him lowering the sea level?

Another interesting thought I'd be keen to get your ideas on in light of the news the One Piece world is flooding:
Also, does this explain the weapon used to destroy Lulisa Kingdom?
Perhaps, according to the WG, the solution to rising sea levels is to destroy islands in rebellion to create holes which the water can drain back into and reduce sea levels. When the sea levels have been appropriately rebalanced, the WG can then choose whether to recreate the island using Akainu's fruit and Greenbull's fruit? Akainu's fruit creates Magma which when it cools can harden to give land mass in the same way underwater Volcanoes contributed towards land mass on Earth; combined with Greenbull's ability to generate natural plant life and you can create a new world exactly as you see fit
8:06 the print journalism business would be dead regardless with the entire world underwater, unless morgan has penguins on standby
I guess that's what you call "A Big Brain Move"
Oimo & Kashii looking up also helps emphasize that Bonney directly copied Luffy in that moment
as Luffy's Gum-Gum Giant is not in fact the size of an Elbaf Giant...but is the size of at minimum, Oars...since he used it to face off against Kaido's dragon form, which was massive even compared to a regular giant
also...so Lulusia's destruction led to the sea level rising...what would happen, if the red line was destroyed then?
It's a good possibility that Oda went back to the Ohara flashback to make sure Saturn was the one speaking. Instead of getting lucky
Old Generation vs New Generation.
The future is now for these old men.
