  • Today I take you on a small adventure to the stunning Northern Pennines on my trusty Honda Supercub (50cc) the Nifty 50. Trying, and succeeding, to push the limits of the worlds most famous vehicle.

Hey I really remember those good old days & miss them much indeed ! I Still own my 1961 or 1962 Honda Cub 55 bought in Japan in early '60's & it is a true blast. I'd do it all over again if I could now at 60 years old just great memories - enjoy & great times guys

I had my own 1970 Honda 50, and rode it in Northern Ontario. It was one of the most beautiful bikes I could own. Withdrew $260 from my bank account, got my license, and got my freedom along with the bargain. Grand fun!

Greetings ✌️I have ridden the Super Cub c50 20,000 km over the past year. Having extensive experience on a motorcycle, I want to say that Honda has made a truly unique and reliable bike! I love this model more and more❤

The Nifty Fifty might be slower than those other bikes but I bet you saw more along the way than they did!

I mean, being stuck at 50km/h is one thing, having your bike running at its maxing power almost all of the time is also not very good for durability. I ride a considerably bigger bike, but I always keep my speed between 50-80km/h. It's much more relaxing for both the rider and the machine.

I just recently got my 2020 Super Cub C125 and I can’t wait to ride this beauty whenever I have the opportunity! I live in Las Vegas and have an assortment of roads i can ride on.. and can push this machine to about 50-55mph which is adequate for the type of riding I do.. I enjoy taking in the scenery as much as I can and not be in a hurry. Love you content, so I hope you keep it up.

I used to get 45 mph out of my green & white 1971 Honda c50 on the straight .When it was warmed up on a long runs it sometimes would get up to 53 mph going down a long straight down slope on clock .Your clock appears to be from the C70 model as yours has a black background ,All the c50 models I saw around that time had speedo’s with white backgrounds .I also owed a 1973 yellow & white C70 that had the dark speedo & it had the same top speeds as the C50 but pulled away & climbed hills slightly better .Both of the Cubs never broke down & only ever suffered the odd puncture in the rear tyres ..I have a more modern version of the Honda cub called a Honda Innova with a 125cc 9•2 HP engine it has tele forks &@ front disc brake & similar auto clutch with Heel & toe 4 speed gears .It does about 60 mph with my weight & lighter people have claimed up to 70mph on a good day .You can’t beat a cub for going on an adventure bimble .You see more cruising along at around 35 to 40 mph than when riding the larger bikes at speed .You also get a good feeling of accomplishment when you get to your destination .👍

As a child we moved to America (Miami Beach) ... I love England... your videos let me imagine I am still there and just exploring around. Love tour voice and delivery. Hope you keep these videos going. Love to hear a bit of history on the Pennines. I can imagine that once upon a TAIMA brave warriors marched over the trail you now ride on your Cub. Ain’t life strange !?

I had the C50L automatic gears one , a 50 that would do 50 and go to the moon and back on a tank of petrol , never let me down and got me all over , on a very steep hill I pulled out to overtake a JCB and couldn’t do it ,I had to drop back in behind it much to the amusement of the cars behind me and the JCB driver .

Awesome mines a 2005 , I have also just got a 2002 Honda c90. The headlights on my c50 are always on, it’s a safety thing you can’t turn them off. But my 2002 honda c90 you can turn them off.

I guess the advantage of Honda 50 are those 100km/l without any hybrid-ism on simple petrol engine 😊 now that's unparalleled by anything else.

Hey Louis✌️I also drive a C50. But I have an injector engine. In 7 months I drove about 14,000 km. Fell in love with this motorcycle. I am especially pleased with the fuel consumption. About 1.2l/100km. ❤ruclips.net/video/bgVaGU-GV44/видео.htmlfeature=shared
