You don't get much shrinkage or a dip after cooling , i use lureflex and find it dips on the top if i quick cool my lures , thats a very professional set up you have , you make nice lures sir 😊
Great looking baits. I have yet to get the process down on doing a 2 color injection with the color seperation you get. I get more of a half swirl in places.
Those are all beautiful baits. Being just a few weeks past the 4th, that red, blue, and silver is a favorite. But for the private pond I used to fish, that baby bass would have been killer. Love them all! Doing all those eyes deserves another Yuengling!
Emerald shad & baby bass are by far my favorites, getting the itch to start making soft plastics because of your channel, look forward to getting the notifications & watching the vids, good stuff
Great video and great baits. I have learned so much about this hobby watching your videos. It's really hard to select just one favorite. They are all amazing baits
World's Worst Fishing maybe they will turn out half decent but I haven’t decided on the marlin baits 7.5 or your angling ai I’m getting them in a couple of months so I have time to decide
Have you tried pre casting the blood lines and internal organs of the fish onto the hook plate So it is aligned and suspended inside the cavity allowing an over skin injection?
The trout was amazing! New sub here from Australia, just getting into fishing, haven't gone yet due to COVID-19 restrictions. But it's fun learning and watching fun new videos. Much Love from Melbourne, Australia😊✌❤🇦🇺
I just bought some basic injection supplies to get started. 6oz injector, a few Do-It cast molds, some dead-on plastic, and a variety of pigments and glitter. I would like to shoot more baits more efficiently but I’m not sure if I should buy another injector or buy more molds. What would you recommend I get first?
I think that Emerald shad would kill in a clear water situation.. A swim bait will be my next mold I have only shot Senkos so far. (I get a little better each time)
Love those bling trout red white and blue ish type pattern gonna have to grab some of those from ya but I don't have a Insta so I'd have to em mail you
You can throw those happy meal toy trout my way if they need a home. I have two little boys who need to learn how to throw baits without losing daddy’s plastics hahaha 😆
When using the silicone mold for the larger swim baits, can those be placed safely placed on the Hot-Plate without melting or charring? I ask because the concentrated heat coming out of a heat gun can just as easily reach a couple of hundred-plus degrees if pointed at the same area of the mold. Is it possible to just set the heat of the Hot-Plate just hot enough to keep the Plastisol from hardening to quickly before that next layer gets added?
@@WorldsWorstFishing I believe you but, it's hard for me to picture in my mind how a hot-plate set at a heat level that the silicone mold will tolerate and that will mitigate the cooling of the plastisol just enough to get it to flow correctly for you, will be negatively effected by placing it on said hot-plate. Do you know if possibly this same silicone is microwave safe? This may be another option for keeping the silicone mold just warm enough to get the plastisol flow and viscosity just right.
@@WorldsWorstFishing That makes sense. I just got my order of Plastisol. I'll be trying out my newly 3D printed mold within the next week or so. I printed them out of resin with sufficient heat resistance to withstand the shock of molten Plastisol as it's injected into the cavities of the mold. This same resin is said to be microwave safe so I look forward to testing these DIY molds. Thanks for taking the time to respond to my inquires. Sorry if they come off sounding stupid. I'm learning as I go.
A great video and, mainly, great soft baits. Your videos are a really good training moment for a lot of Soft Bait Makers. What do you think about a cold top coat, as 50% PVC glue + 50% MEK, instead to dip soft bait in hot clear plastisol? Sometimes, with thin soft baits, you can ruin them with the last "bath" because the weight of body can stretch the tail. Bye Cami
If you did them before they are set up then yes you can over stretch the tails..that is what I would consider a beginner mistake that you will quickly fix.
You have probably been asked before and answered the question already or made a video about it, but is it possible to remelt elaztech? I know it isn't plastic in the traditional sense but is it possible?
@@WorldsWorstFishing yeah they are, but definitely my favorite color patterns on a swimbait by far. Especially because that's the main food source of all the fish up where I live
I just made my first bait with the dead on black label craw plastisol and I waited 10 minutes for it to dry but when I opened up the mold, the bait almost ripped in half and it was really sticky like one of those sticky hand things
A common mistake among people who are new to this hobby...the plastic needs to be thoroughly mixed before each use and has to cook to a certain temperature to convert out of the gel phase. Watch my video called tips for the beginner very carefully
World's Worst Fishing I just read them😂. I should’ve known. I’m about to try to make some baits again, I’ll let you know how they turn out. Thanks for the tips!
Oh man! I yest wanna sink my teeth in those rainbow swimbaits. They look so awsome. It would be nice if you could show the swiming acction on that 6" swimbait in the water sometime. And, if there is any, but a link to where i can get that mold. Thx for realy good clips. Its a great inspiration. Greetings from Sweden
Thanks for tagging along, which one's were your favorite?
The baby bass bloodlines are killer! My favorite yet. Great way to implement the black bloodline.
@@deadeyedarren 🙌
Those light hitch big ones and the light blue small swimbaits are sick!
How are you so good at this ?
Baby Bass look awesome
That last hand pour was awesome!
It was most definitely a "Golden Trout" the par marks on an adult fish is a dead giveaway.
Keep living the dream!
They all look amazing! Especially the orange trout
Also the golden trout mold that was pretty good turned out awesome.
Baby bass was my favorite. You are making me want to start making baits.
Great job!!!!
Enjoy each video!!!!
For me, it's a tie between the Baby Bass and the Cut Throat Trout.
Thank you so much for sharing your craft!!!!
Thanks for watching
You don't get much shrinkage or a dip after cooling , i use lureflex and find it dips on the top if i quick cool my lures , thats a very professional set up you have , you make nice lures sir 😊
Impossible to choose a favorite, they're all awesome but that Emerald Shad takes the cake! Another great video saved in the Chris Jones RUclips vault.
Heck yeah! Thanks for watching
Love the way those baby bass came out with the black line on the side! They all looked great, really, but the baby bass was my favorite!
Thank you
Ever tried mixing with a 5 gallon paint mixer that attaches to a cordless drill? They have them at most home improvement stores.
Great looking baits. I have yet to get the process down on doing a 2 color injection with the color seperation you get. I get more of a half swirl in places.
Hard to decide on a favorite, they all look great! Keep up the great content coming!
Please keep watching the content 👍

Your baits are second to none. Love all of them

Love the shade colors!

I love the emerald shad and baby bass because they resemble baitfish nicely and i think they would work in my area for pike
Thanks
I’m going to try to copy some of your Swimbaits when I get my mold so keep them coming 😂

They all look good! I gotta say I like the 8” trout. But i would throw any of those. You are the hand pour master! NICE!!!

does angling AI have the duel injector with the mixing block?
That last color would the pink line look better skin poured because in the picture it looked like the orange came up under it? I liked that color tho👍
These baits look awesome.
Loving the vids I just subscribed but the last trout is a golden trout they originate from Virginia also keep grinding on the vids they r awesome!
Where can I find some molds or makes molds between the 4 inch and 8 inch range? I’m using them more for Seabass and lingcod?
I think the grout color is called a golden trout. That one was my favorite.
yeah a golden trout for sure
What a great channel. I'd have to go with the baby bass.
Man those emerald shads are perfect !!! Those are hawg killers for sure 👊👊👊
Some of my favorites I've ever done

Its really nice, i know the Melt but where can i bye the Plastisol?

Stankx ribbed mold

Where do you get your molds from? And do you do shrimp as well?
could you try and do a rhubarb and custard colour shad? (popular in the uk)
Are you still selling baits? I'd be interested in some 8 inch swimbaits in rainbow trout.
This is jimmy Ruffin! I like all your colors, however the baby bass is my favorite since I fish for bass mostly! Good work!

which plastisol do you recommend for grubs or small swimbaits under 3"?

on the 4 inch anging ai handpour, how do you get the eyes to stick to the bait before clear dipping?
loctite gel, i dont dip the ai pours tho

How much salt do I need to use in my worms?

Maybe try making some with powder supplements. Lots of them end up really interesting colors
