I bought an aluminum meat injector for pouring into some open poor molds. Really makes it easier to be accurate and not have to do so much trimming. Especially on the lizard and frog open poor molds I have. They are cheap on amazon.
The second version was beautiful and I think they turned out amazing! I’d love to see you do something in parrot fish colors! Getting that pink woven across the surface of that beautiful blue green would be amazing.
Soooo great Chris. Version 2 was much closer in my opinion. That’s one of the reasons I love the channel. It’s awesome how quickly you can adjust after trying once
Awesome hand pour! You make it look sooo easy. I tried my hand at hand pouring and that is definitely an acquired skill that I haven't acquired yet. Lol. It's very outstanding work you do and I always look forward to your next creation or venture. Another rod build would be great to see as well as another hand crafted crank or jerk bait. Maybe like a 6 inch Rapala type jerkbait. Stay safe!
Another outstanding swim bait! It would be nice to see how you rig those paddle tails and also to see how they swim. Perhaps in a pool so we could see them clearly in the water. Thank you.
You sir are very good at this and I love the videos....its just enjoyable to watch. I'd like to do this as a hobby and make a few bucks to cover my fishing trips for the season but I don't really see it as being profitable unless you're like all In and doing it full time.
Very nice swimbaits!! The 2nd one looks great and is my pick! Have you ever tried to make jerkbaits using color patterns like this? I bet some perch patterns like this in a smaller jerkbait would look great!
This was an awesome design. I think a smokey black tail would have looked pretty awesome as well. But hey I can only picture these things in my head I can't actually do it. Lol
The perch here in Europe have very bold yellow green and orange. If I was to make a perch I would go for a yellow belly with the green you used above the midline and a dark green back, and bright orange fins and tail.
I like the second attempt, closer to the original design. Have you fished with these lures? Are you going to do another hard bait video? Tight lines. 👍
Hi Chris, the second pour looks so much better more professional to the amateurish first pour. I'm learning so much from your channel. Question is it possible to air brush plastics then dip them to coat them!
Some orange fleck in the green would have really brought the colors together. I say this having never seen this done until I watched one of your videos a couple of days ago, and no idea how fleck affects color.
I'm just getting into lure making and found your videos and love them. Question, if I want to recycle my Yamamoto senkos into new senkos, should I add more salt? Or does enough salt stay in there from when they were originally manufactured? Thanks!
The Eyes are a Perfect Compliment to the Green. But if I had the Tools and Materials, I Would have made a Second batch of Green. Small Black flake, No Large Flake, and equal parts Green and Yellow Flake. The black tip tail, and A Pearl white core was a Great ideas to both add contrast and Highlight. But I'd like to see you try this one Again
All good ideas...might looks great, might not..even someone that's been doing this as long as I have never knows if it's going to turn out until you open the mold
Hatfield's customs are some of the best! But dude, you're getting so amazing with these baits you're doing. I really wish I could find some of your baits online to buy
Definitely like the 2nd ones more the only thing I would've did different is alot less green flake in the orange and a little more black flake in each portion but in either a small or medium size. Either way those look absolutely great and as soon as I saw them I thought of a more flourecent/bright perch kind of color. But that's at first sight without the context of the bait match
You should try the soldering iron technique like marling Baits did to get detail. It worked pretty good for him! I bet a wood burning tool might work also
You should make small plastic kits and sell them for us beginners.unless you already doing that.i just started making some with old worms and i like it.
I have a picture of a worm color I have not seen before and would like to pass it on to you and see if you can replicate it. I think you'll really like the color combination. Green back then Greenish Lime middle to a Yellowy Lime belly. The flake and blending looks like a snake body.
meat injector would give you more control for.the sinks vs pouring from cup I think you would be able to do thin line detail I haven t tried it just a ideal that came to mind love your channel and have learned so much thank you
You need a little needle injector like that guy who makes custom pancakes with has! LOL that would step up your game crazy! I want some of your examples when you get one and make some😂
@@WorldsWorstFishing thanks! Some time I'll get to that, for now I'll stick to carving wooden hard baits, like crankbaits. Just like Marling Baits. Some day I'll get an airbrush so I don't have to give my baits spray can jobs, or even brush paint jobs, -_- someday...
Because plastic cools and sets up fast, you cannot use such methods to apply plastic with any sort of control to the mold.. a few people use shortcuts such as glue guns and soldering irons, the way I have the most control is by pouring.
Hey I love your videos and I would like to get into making my own baits but I have no idea how to start. So if you see this can you give me any tips on how to get started. Thanks!
World's Worst Fishing oh ok, I’ve been leaving it on it’s side and then lightly sloshing it back and forth and getting a lot of bubbles so I’m probably going to try using a bit. Thanks for all of the help!😁 I definitely wouldn’t be able to make baits right now without it.
What crazy complex pattern should we try next????
Hi
Try to do clear colors
hello
Gizzard shad!!!
do half baby bass half bluegill

Thanks buddy...I try and get it right haha
Totally off the charts...again, very cool. The black tail made it pop.
hey man...thanks
Green Crawfish pattern would be Awesome! I think it’d look even better with a tad of red on some edges.
That would be cool!
This is my favorite pour you have done. I absolutely love this color and I’m looking to pour something like this myself for Pike fishing.
Every new pour you do I feel like it’s going to be someone’s new PB! Awesome patterns and I bet you could even play with colors as well.
I hope so!
Just when I think I’ve seen the boundary line of where we can go with soft plastics, you show us more! Thx for sharing Chris.
You bet!

Good idea!
TJ is an absolute master, and a painter I look up to a great deal.
I bet that pot roast was amazing! I'm addicted to watching your lure making process. A true artist! 👊🏾
man it was bomb!
Wow, you really knocked it out of the park on this one!
I like the second pours better. Good job on the matching!
👍
I broke down and had to order a stinger mold... mid mag mold is on its way .. man I’m like a kid waiting for Christmas morning 🤣🤣🤣
Both attempts look great . I think I will try to make something similar. Keep posting these videos for inspiration . Thanks
Go for it!
Boy Howdy! What a color scheme, really awesome man.
Hey, thanks!
Great video Chris, awesome job!!!!!!!!!! You just amaze me. Keep casting brother!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks a bunch!

man those last ones are so beautiful I don't even know if I'd want to fish them. More like mount them as masterpieces! :D
Really enjoy your videos. I don’t even really fish, but like to see the craftsmanship. Keep up the good work!
I appreciate that!
This looks like an awesome
Peacock Bass color
yeah it kinda does
Arts and crafts for fishing! Nice job!
Man I love those swim baits . The ones with the black tails just POP and I can’t stop staring at them . Awesome work Chris 👊👊👊
thanks dude
Yep. The second one came out superb.
Great stuff, Chris. Beautiful baits
Those look like tree boas by themselves. Awesome pour!
Thank ya

I have only watched i belive 4 of your videos and this is awesome I would pay for these soft plastics incredible
Glad you like them!
Rainbow coreshot would look good in a swimbait.i like the second bait you made more green did the trick. 👍
Where did you get the metal mold's? They are awsome!!
Awesome! The eyes make the bait!!
Nothing finishes a Lure off like the perfect eye
Those turned out awesome!
Thanks so much!
love how these turned out just got done watching
thank you sir
I like the second attempt, closer to the original design. Have you fished with these lures? Are you going to do another hard bait video? Tight lines. 👍
More wood Baits for sure
I think they are great. I like the first ones too! But I love all your work!
thanks
Do you have to use a specific glitter for your baits?
Hi Chris, the second pour looks so much better more professional to the amateurish first pour. I'm learning so much from your channel. Question is it possible to air brush plastics then dip them to coat them!
yes you can!
I do it all the time. I use Lure Works paints and dip in clear plastisol.
Hey if you are reading this have a wonderful day
you too!
Sometimes you make swimbaits that make me think....all that is missing is butter. 👍🍺🎣
Some orange fleck in the green would have really brought the colors together. I say this having never seen this done until I watched one of your videos a couple of days ago, and no idea how fleck affects color.

Hi Chris, I'd love to see some Kietech colors. Maybe the pro blue or sungill. Thanks

That’s good! You did a great job!!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Hatfield's customs are some of the best! But dude, you're getting so amazing with these baits you're doing. I really wish I could find some of your baits online to buy
Glad you like them! and yeah I sell very limited runs..only on my Instagram
@@WorldsWorstFishing awesome. I'll have to hit you up over there man. Keep an eye out for me bro
Second round looks killer
Nice! What setting do you put your hot plate on?
varies actually..today I was cold pouring some..but never set it above 350 imo
Definitely like the 2nd ones more the only thing I would've did different is alot less green flake in the orange and a little more black flake in each portion but in either a small or medium size. They can be whatever u think they should be...super fun match
Looks sick! I would name that pattern Tchernobyl Perch.
Very pretty lures you make
Greetings from Holland
Thank you very much!
Them baits look very nice great job 👍
Glad you like them!
Could u use a tooth pick on the black for thinner lines??
I liked the 1st one you did as it looks a lot the fish we have in my lake Great job first thime i have watch your vidos
Awesome! Thank you!
Nailed it!!!!!!
thanks John
Very new to your channel, where do I buy your bait?
You should try the soldering iron technique like marling Baits did to get detail. It worked pretty good for him! I bet a wood burning tool might work also
When I do something like that I use a hot glue gun..it's an old technique but I like the challenge of pouring everything.
World's Worst Fishing that’s a good idea too!
You definitely know what you’re doing though! They look great! I even liked the look of the first batch too!
You should make small plastic kits and sell them for us beginners.unless you already doing that.i just started making some with old worms and i like it.

its actually difficult to use..I havent got it mastered yet
Lol. Compared to what I have tried to make you are a super master jedi
You did great!
How can i get some of those they are awesome
Love these videos man! really makes me want to make my own baits
You should!
You need a little needle injector like that guy who makes custom pancakes with has! LOL that would step up your game crazy! I want some of your examples when you get one and make some😂
unfortunately the plastic sets up and becomes unworkable in such a small injector..
@@WorldsWorstFishing what about like a condiment squeeze bottle? My idea about trying anyhow...
How about a "bluegill fire" color, check out 6th sense for that, or "backwater gill"
The second one is much better. Have you fished them yet??
Great work! Love the eyes!
Thank you! Cheers!
Been watching your vids . Very nice work wife walks by tv and says your not getting into that . Well.
Hehe 😁
Idk about you but if i was a shark i would swim away as fast as possible! That lure looks mean! WoW great job! came out cool!
Thanks 👍
I want to try making my own soft plastics!
go for it
@@WorldsWorstFishing thanks! Some time I'll get to that, for now I'll stick to carving wooden hard baits, like crankbaits. Just like Marling Baits. Some day I'll get an airbrush so I don't have to give my baits spray can jobs, or even brush paint jobs, -_- someday...
Dam 2nd version looks sweet. Get them shipped to UK ;)
You should do like a sports mashup swim bait, with a Basketball pattern, a Baseball pattern, and a football pattern.
yes I want to
Hot pink bright blue silver with black lines
Love the 2nd one and those eyes omg
can you buy this mold if yes have you a link pls thanks
U should order the bandito bug mold and review it
Your Plastics look really really great
Try using the handle of a small paint brush i believe you will have alot more control.
Because plastic cools and sets up fast, you cannot use such methods to apply plastic with any sort of control to the mold.. a few people use shortcuts such as glue guns and soldering irons, the way I have the most control is by pouring.
Damn Tj Hatfield you found a super fan😂
hes the masta
Man, Chris, nice work! I would totally buy some of these. I can't imagine they won't catch anything. How do you think they'd come out in the 4"?
probably not quite as good since its smaller space to work in..but challenge accepted
Hey I love your videos and I would like to get into making my own baits but I have no idea how to start. So if you see this can you give me any tips on how to get started. Thanks!
watch my "guide" video and "tips for the begginer" video
Look thru his videos. He has one for getting started
World's Worst Fishing thanks so much I definitely will
where do you get all of your supplies?
Dead On Plastix, Angling ai molds, Lureworks color and glitters etc.
@@WorldsWorstFishing thanks man. Im thinking about making some and selling them.
Very cool. 😎
ty
Amazing, so great ☺
Thank you! Cheers!
Really like the skin pour layers, but also the "layers" of flake in the skin pours, like another comment, I think it resembles a peacock bass color
thanks for watching!
U did great 👍
👍👍
Muskie lures. Weighted Medusas if possible
Miami Hurricanes swimbaits............I LIKE IT !! ✋🏻🤚🏻😬
how did u get Canes from these? lol yuck go noles
World's Worst Fishing 😂😂 we will find out who’s better this weekend 😬😉
@@jodyshelton414 oh heck Canes gonna kill the Noles this round
World's Worst Fishing....WINNING !!!! 😬✋🏻🤚🏻
Lol I bet you won't put black flake in your crockpot to make that better. The 2nd batch I like.
sure wont!
I’m thinking about making a small soft plastic company and need ideas on how to get a name
Talented
Beautiful.
Thanks Tony
Hey man, you should check out fat guys fishing molds, looks very high quality like Josh`s molds at Angling A.I.
yeah I know several guys that run a few fat guys molds..his quality seems pretty good
How would you mix a one gallon jug well without getting a bunch of bubbles
maybe a small diameter paint stirring bit..you can also just turn the jug upside down for 10 minutes then shake lightly
