I know it's about children & teenagers but being a 37 year old, I wish I had parents who would have taught me that rejection is fine. I wasted 5 long years of my life after college for a boy who rejected me. It not only impacted my mind but also my health & career. I wish my parents or someone would have helped me to heal then. But of course I have taken lessons from that incident
