Wow today was my first time to bake brownies. I have been browsing through a lot of brownies recipes but for some reasons this caught my eyes. I tried it immediately since I pretty much have all of the ingredients (except granulated sugar but I used condense milk as a substitute for my first trial) and surprisingly it turned out to be good! I am so happy. The texture and smell just mesmerizing. My kitchen smelled like chocolate lol. Thanks to you. Your explanation is very clear and simple. Gonna check out other of your recipes too.

Whenever i try making cakes/brownies i failed... Until today i had this bad impression to my husband that i can never make brownies hahahha. And yes finally i manage to succeed :-) Thank you so much for such a nice and easy to cook recipe. I didn't have chocolate at home to spread on the brownie but without even chocolate this is awsome. i used Hershey's chocolate chips though but my sugar couldn't dissolve... . But i still proceed with the rest of the steps and it comes out really really really good without having any sugar granules in the brownie. Thanks alot

Hi there, to save some money, omit the chocolate on top. If you go back to old days, nobody ever put chocolate on their brownies. My mom many long years ago made brownies all the time, and never ever put chocolate on them. Brownies don't nee them in reality. Yes, if you wish, you could make up a frosting with cocoa powder, but I do believe house brand chocolate chips you find at your local grocery store are less expensive than using cocoa powder. Sory my sister as long as I know, all the brownies recipe using chocholate bar or chips combined with cocoa powder, if you use cocoa powder the texture will be too much light instead of mushy heavy texture brownies

I was looking for one since I ran out of chocolate chips to do one of these and I found some where they only use cocoa powder, and it’s amazing

I used to make this recipe often before I became vegan. I still use it, with some modifications. If someone else is looking to veganize this recipe, just use 90g of blended raw red lentils with one tbsp of ground flaxseed and water, instead of eggs, and coconut oil and peanut butter instead of dairy butter. I did this and it came out great.

I was doing heating the butter with the chocolate chips and sugar when i heated it for too long and it literally cooked by itself 🤣 but then i did it again and it tasted amazing:)
+Manaal Jawwad Hi there, you can put your bowl over a pot of hot water for a few moments more, this will make more of the sugars dissolve.... by the way do not worry if it is a bit gritty ( sandy texture ) --- when in the oven, the sugar will 100% dissolve so do NOT worry.

Really appreciate the fact that you explain certain things for people who don't live in your country. Everytime I come across canadian/american recipes I always have to google some of the ingredients to get the UK equivalent.

Wow today was my first time to bake brownies. I have been browsing through a lot of brownies recipes but for some reasons this caught my eyes. I tried it immediately since I pretty much have all of the ingredients (except granulated sugar but I used condense milk as a substitute for my first trial) and surprisingly it turned out to be good! I am so happy. The texture and smell just mesmerizing. My kitchen smelled like chocolate lol. Thanks to you. Your explanation is very clear and simple. Gonna check out other of your recipes too.

Hi there, to save some money, omit the chocolate on top. If you go back to old days, nobody ever put chocolate on their brownies. My mom many long years ago made brownies all the time, and never ever put chocolate on them. Brownies don't nee them in reality. Yes, if you wish, you could make up a frosting with cocoa powder, but I do believe house brand chocolate chips you find at your local grocery store are less expensive than using cocoa powder. Sory my sister as long as I know, all the brownies recipe using chocholate bar or chips combined with cocoa powder, if you use cocoa powder the texture will be too much light instead of mushy heavy texture brownies

I was looking for one since I ran out of chocolate chips to do one of these and I found some where they only use cocoa powder, and it’s amazing

I used to make this recipe often before I became vegan. I still use it, with some modifications. If someone else is looking to veganize this recipe, just use 90g of blended raw red lentils with one tbsp of ground flaxseed and water, instead of eggs, and coconut oil and peanut butter instead of dairy butter. I did this and it came out great.

Yes you can :-) Make sure not to burn it. Lower heat setting is good. I like to use defrost.

I was doing heating the butter with the chocolate chips and sugar when i heated it for too long and it literally cooked by itself 🤣 but then i did it again and it tasted amazing:)

+Manaal Jawwad Hi there, you can put your bowl over a pot of hot water for a few moments more, this will make more of the sugars dissolve.... by the way do not worry if it is a bit gritty ( sandy texture ) --- when in the oven, the sugar will 100% dissolve so do NOT worry.
