Magnificat tree!
I woud love to see a "how to yamadori" video.
I will do it, hopefully sooner than later. Would like to have it finished before spring digging season. Thanks.
Great to see you have a RUclips channel now Maros, you and I have appreciated each others work through our blogs for years, but I more or less abandoned my blog some years ago (Silva Naturalis). Perhaps you remember? Lovely to see you working and hear your thoughts! Matt
Hi Matt, nice to hear from you. Of course, I remember your blog! You have some outstanding trees. Blogs went down slowly, and I had the same feeling . Greetings Maros
@@marosbonsai glad to see you and your wonderful bonsai thriving! I see you are on Instagram too, so I've followed you on there. I am still doing mostly photography, but perhaps more videos will follow too!
@@silvanaturalis Fingers crossed with the video. It is 20x more work than a blog but 10x more fun as well. Thanks for your kind words.
It looks like a 'tree'😍
Thanks, Bobby. Mission accomplished then 🙏👌

Magnificent Carpinus ! Like you, I try to use as much as possible plants native to the place I live, which is Belgium. Carpinus betulus is one of my favourite plants to use as bonsai. Thanks for the interesting talk and showing us a beautiful tree.
Thanks for your kind words. Wishing you all the best with your trees 👍
@@marosbonsai Thank you, looking forward to your next videos.

Thank you for the video, i enjoyed it very much. For me it was therapeutic and very interesting to hear a little about how you came into bonsai. The hornbeam tree is amazing! Thanks again.

Great Video Maros, thank you for the glimpse to your live. Living in Vienna I have very deep understanding for your history. Best regards Jens
Dear Jens, warm greetings to Vienna. I am glad you like it👍

Thank you very much for your kind words! Germany rocks! Greetings
such an incredible tree. great video. tree looks very natural and impressive
Thanks 👍
Fantatstic tree and really enjoyed the history - but that fireplace was the true star! All the best for 2024
Thanks Xavier. I wanted to tell you that I watched your video on books, and you had one from Paul Lesniewitz and wisteria bonsai is on the cover of the book. I will have to buy it just from sheer nostalgia.
I am truly fascinated with your story and perspective. Our experiences shapes how we view the world, ourselves, and our creativity. It has molded your artistry into something special.
I absolutely love your Caprinus - one of my favourite species. I have a soft spot for 'Fairy Tale Trees'. Where I live, old Big-Leaf Maple trees (Acer macrophyllum) take on this exact form - pretty spooky when seen through the fog on a cold winter day!
I have found some artists/RUclips channels in Canada and the US who are embracing naturalistic bonsai styles. These include Rakuyo Deciduous Bonsai, Ryan Neil (Bonsai Mirai), Nigel Saunders (The Bonsai Zone). I'm sure there are many more out there for all skill levels.
Thank You very much for your nice comment. I have to admit, that maples generally, are becoming one of my favorite species over time, they have some truly great properties which makes them good candidates for bonsai.
I watch Ryan since his beginnings (I mentioned it in the video originally, but it was edited out due to length and pace of the video) and he is doing amazing work for bonsai. Also Andrew from Rakuyo, I follow his channel and Im glad there is a guy focusing on deciduous trees. And Nigel work in creating content is inspiring.
Masterpiece ❤
Thanks, mate 👍
Great video, the tree is magnificent
Thank you very much. 👍
Nádherný strom
Ďakujem 😉👍
You are sitting with your bonsai beneet the fireplace. Not to warm for the tree?
It rises the temperature only slightly and for a short period of time. No problem for the tree at all.
