I love the playful/childlike sound in the beginning. And then how the melody gets stronger with a violin and background sounds. The violin kinda portrays the wavering romance while giving the song a sound of longing and love. Then, the song get a little slower and sweeter, a pause in the relationship. As it continues on, you are left wondering if this was truly meant to be. Then the Epic sounds of an orchestra come in, and you realize after all, this is what you wanted all along. From "The Boy In The Iceberg" to "Avatar Aang" and the girl who couldn't waterbend, saving the nation that took her mother away from her. Simply incredible writing.
I love how this is a combination of Peace, The Avatar's Love, and a little bit of the Korra Finale. It is almost symbolic how Peace, Love, and Balance go hand in hand. Love your music man!!

Katara was the Girl from the Small Village, whose mother was killed and had a brother who was a oftentimes immature but with a desire to be a hero. She learns to fight and heal wounds. She becomes the sister that Zuko needs and becomes a mother later in life to three children. She learns that she can still have fun like a child instead of being the mother figure of the group and many other things from Toph and Suki. She becomes a Maternal Warrior-Protector and a Veteran of the war. Sokka was the kid from the little village, who was trained to fight since a young age, who learns to get rid of his misogynistic views and becomes a man and a Veteran. Aang starts off as the goofy new kid on the block, who is a bit of a nerd and has that one understated skill that nobody knows about. He puts that aside for a while to fulfill his destiny as the hero of the world, saving it from the Bullies of the Fire Nation. Zuko is the Exiled Prince with a troubled family and a scarred past and in this case a face full of scars. He is taught by a wise uncle to discover and chart his own destiny and to fulfill it and restore honor to himself and his people. Eventually overthrowing his ruthless father and sister and pardoning his wrongly accused mother. Toph is the Kid with a disability. She cannot see and this effected her life in many ways. She was shielded by her parents but she broke out of this shield, this bubble and discovered her destiny, to teach Aang and to help defeat the Fire Nation. She discovers a sub-skill of her bending art and begins to teach others with this ability and eventually founds a police force and becomes a mother to two daughters. She was unable to see her daughters but could feel their heartbeats, telling her what expression or thought they were thinking, making her an Empath. Suki is the Foreign girl from a distant nation who joins the local kids to save the world, going through prison to do so too. Iroh is the wise mentor who guides Zuko on his path to fulfilling his destiny.
This song makes my Zutara heart want to welcome Kataang in all its cannon form. The OG theme was beautiful and really felt like the beginnings of love. This vaped up version transcended all the feelings Aang must have felt through out his journey as the Avatar but most importantly, the people who where by his side till the end. Beautiful. Stunning. Bravo 👏🏽
Something Ive realized over time, is that the avatars love is not only played when he had a moment with katara... But, it played when aang gave tom Tom back to his parents, and when he saves the world, and many other moments... I learned that it symbolizes, not only his love for katara but his love for nature, for the world, for life... And it's beautiful

Samuel Kim, you've always made phenomenal renditions to songs. But this? The way you personified the lead violin, grasping the desperate, innocent yet hardened love in such way. It's just too beautiful. Thank you so much for your talents, your innovation, sharing all of that with us.
I grew up watching this, I have easily seen it more than 6 times and I don't get bored, I always saw it as a child since I couldn't sleep well at night, and the vdd would see it one or another time
This series made me tears... Made me a man and gave me a motivation when I am down.. And now I am in a good position.. This is best ever anime I have ever seen in my life!
As much as I like the original, this one definitely tugged at my heartstrings in such a profound way, I love the way you've repurposed the original melody into something both new and familiar, you've added so much to this composition, thank you so much!

the first few times they kiss Aang is the one who kisses Katara, but in the last scene is Katara the one who kisses Aang.
Yeah exactly wow
Not gonna lie, I totally walked down to this theme at my wedding in June. It's just so stunning :'-)
That's so sweet, did your husband know about the meaning, or did you tell him?🥰💝
Congratulations btw 🤗🎆✨🎊
That's such a childhood dream come true, congrats!!

wtf does this have to do with avatar?
@@tornyiegrace1696 he posts this every time. I think he just wants to see how we react
@@isaac5154 pretty much
Tornyie Grace Probably what happens with their two elements combined.
I would give anything to watch this show for the first time again. Every year or so I fall back down the rabbit hole and either watch it all over again or explore videos about it on social media. It'll always feel like home.
2:00 is the most moving piece of music i’ve ever heard i get so many chills while listening to it i can’t believe how much hope and sadness and longing it brings just...perfection
I’m being 100% honest, the philosophy of this show changed me as a person so much
Despite the show being super old, till this day, I keep crying over scenes like this, now am more older I can really appreciate the work and understand what a masterpiece they've shown us.
There will never be a show that gives the same impact as Avatar the last Airbender.
From "The Boy In The Iceberg" to "Avatar Aang" and the girl who couldn't waterbend, saving the nation that took her mother away from her. Simply incredible writing.
This is not just a music, its a memory rooted deep in our minds a memory we want to experience out of the screen, a memory we want to be a reality
This is just flat out one of the most beautiful things I have ever heard!!!!
God then 2:02 hit, there was no holding back anymore. I cry everytime I hear Avatar Music, childhood really was something huh?
Thank you Samuel!
Damn honestly tho that cello in 1:08 pulled my heartstrings 😥😢😭
I love how this is a combination of Peace, The Avatar's Love, and a little bit of the Korra Finale. It is almost symbolic how Peace, Love, and Balance go hand in hand. Love your music man!!
This made me cry. It’s so nostalgic and I love every moment of Avatar. Thanks to everyone who helped to develop this amazing and moving show. I don’t know what I would do without avatar. 👍🏻🙏🏻
This just brings back memories and makes you wanna cry. 😢😭
just imagine this at a kataang wedding. *chefs kiss*
i feel like i am gonna cry over this
The music and the background art are so beautiful. I’m tearing up 😫😢
0:39 the background string instrument = heaven
This song makes my Zutara heart want to welcome Kataang in all its cannon form. The OG theme was beautiful and really felt like the beginnings of love. This vaped up version transcended all the feelings Aang must have felt through out his journey as the Avatar but most importantly, the people who where by his side till the end. Beautiful. Stunning. Bravo 👏🏽
I've always hated Zutara. It makes no sense narratively.
Okay Mr. Debbie Downer. No need to go raining on other people’s parade. 😶😶😶
@@andythewarriorwang4755 nobody asked.
@@andythewarriorwang4755 I am a kataanger too but that's not really nice.
Beautiful, in so many ways❤
This music is literally Kataang’s soundtrack and it’s so beautiful 💕💕
Something Ive realized over time, is that the avatars love is not only played when he had a moment with katara... But, it played when aang gave tom Tom back to his parents, and when he saves the world, and many other moments... I learned that it symbolizes, not only his love for katara but his love for nature, for the world, for life... And it's beautiful
I honestly don't think I've ever been quite so moved by a song in my life. If I have, this just put that behind... I just... wow
“Some friendships transend lifetimes”
- Avatar Roku
This is one of the most beautiful renditions I’ve ever heard, genuinely
This put a smile on my face.
I'm totally not crying at this beautiful piece of music from my favorite show of all time.
This is Samuel's most underrated soundtracks.
That too for being his own original theme you know for sure this came from the heart.
The melody is lighthearted and sweet, yet deeply mourning and melancholic. Just like Aang and Katara.
One of the best couples in fiction
Just finished rewatching this series for the second time, and listening to this is an amazing way to say goodbye for now. Thanks for sharing, this is amazing!!!

This is so beautifully made! I especially love 1:06 to 1:30. My heart is full.
Call me corny, but this song seriously tugs at my heart strings. ❤ such a truly beautiful composition.
Not corny at all my friend, just the truth!
This music is so emotionally heavy dude. My goodness
Bruh this music makes me cry!! It was such an amazing closing to the series! I'm sad it's over, but happy that it happened
I watched the serie more than 20 times. I remember when I was waiting for the new episodes when I was child. This is just the best serie of all time. I will never stop to watch it. ♥ AND MY CHILDREN WILL HAVE TO LOVE IT OR...
I honestly can't stop listening to this. It's so calming, makes everything feel okay
I literally just watched the series for the first time today and this piece is giving me goosebumps like the finale did
this music is just so nostalgic that i get a tingle through my whole body and it just puts a sad smile on my face. nostalgia is the best kind of pain. truly nothing can compare to this. nothing.
I’ve unlocked tear bending, thanks 🤧
my childhood memory just flowing along with the song, I remember Avatar used to be broadcasted on sunday morning at 8AM and I'll watch it while eating breakfast every sunday, what a good old days
I want this song to be played at my funeral, it’s not sad, it’s nostalgic and i want to everyone remember me with nothing but happiness for the moments we lived together.
Samuel Kim, you've always made phenomenal renditions to songs. But this? The way you personified the lead violin, grasping the desperate, innocent yet hardened love in such way. It's just too beautiful. Thank you so much for your talents, your innovation, sharing all of that with us.
This beautiful Song makes me cry 😭😭😢😢
This made me tear up a bit. I love it... it so sweet, powerful, and nostalgic.
Nostalgia to the max
