The last airbender was so good because aang was a child. As a child, he really connected to us and reminded us what it means to have fun. It was so bright and happy. His characteristics made the show feel alive and gave us back our childhood. The legend of korra is more of a grown up show with more modern things and not as much fun. It didn't connect to those happy moments. It wasn't as joyful like when aang rode those elephant koi's. The last airbender is the best animated series ever.

I finally watched The Legend of Korra Book 3 and it brought me back to this wonderful piece of music. I'm in tears just thinking about how this season of the show will hold a special place in my heart from now until forever. (ATLA and TLOK Book 3 spoilers below) I was trying to figure out which episode of ATLA Book 2 is my favorite. I was thinking maybe the Blind Bandit since my favorite character in the whole show is Toph (but that ep doesn't have Iroh or Zuko). Then I thought maybe the Serpent's Pass, since it has a lot of good moments for all of my top favorite characters, especially important character development for Aang and Sokka, Suki being the SWEETEST, and my most favorite shot in the whole season (when Aang flies up the outer wall of Ba Sing Se). But I felt like my favorite episode in Book 2 should mean even more to me (earthbending is my favorite, so naturally, Book 2: Earth should be really special to me). Anyway, now after having seen TLOK Book 3, I have no doubt that my favorite episode of ATLA Book 2 is "The Guru". Why? 2 main reasons: We see Toph invent metalbending in that episode (with the AMAZING voice over from Guru Pathik). To parallel that in TLOK, there's a WHOLE FRICKIN CITY OF METALBENDERS!!! AND TOPH'S FAMILY IS SO BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING This is the part that made me cry. A lot. In "The Guru", Aang unlocks his Chakras, and on one of them (can't remember which right now), he sees his WHOLE NATION BEING WIPED AWAY. This is what it truly means for Aang to be "the Last Airbender", and it hits HARD when you think of it like that. BUT TLOK shows us that AANG WAS NOT THE LAST AIRBENDER! And just thinking about how Aang would feel when he sees his sons building a new air nation, brings tears of joy. Aang would be SO PROUD of his kids and grandkids Thanks for reading if you made it this far, I just felt like sharing some of these shower thoughts with whoever finds this comment :)

idk why but Samuel makes the world a better place with his music becouse it makes you think about things you wouldnt and sometimes it makes you happy or feel sad and its not necessarily a bad thing, it makes you think about life what is going on and what will happen , it is a mystery but you are going to find out what that mystery is further on in life, it will be hard and no matter what happens you are you and you are special don't forget that, the things you do in life that is your decision ,be wise dont give up and live the way you want to live. for those wondering, that little cello part at the beginning is based of Bach's cello suite, specifically the prelude. and yes, the full song gives most cellists nightmares.
I can just see aang coming back from the spirt portal and hugging katara and his kids while his grandchildren are just happy to see aang and know him, I can hear aang almost say, “I’m back” from that picture like he’s finally ascending into the next season. WE MISS YOU AANG, WE MISS THE ENTIRE SERIES! THIS SERIES WILL FOREVER BE VICTORIOUS!
I didn’t comment this yesterday but this gave my ears a whole orgasm like I got goosebumps from it From 1:39-2:40 Especially 2:13 But that’s mostly because I haven’t listened to the first piece, but everything about this radiates beauty
Good Vibes I heard this part a few months ago and expected to hear it in the show. After watching the show, I was confused cause I didn’t hear this part. Finally, after hours of looking, I found this video again where I originally heard it. It’s so amazing!!
This probably sounds so silly, but listening to music like this not only makes me cry pretty much every time, but it also kinda... realigns me. It takes me out of my reality and encourages me to envision the life that I want to have. Ever since I was old enough to live on my own, I've always lived by this feeling - am I living the life that I envision when I am moved to tears by a beautiful song? Is my life as beautiful as the art I invite into it? If the answer is no, I make the changes that I need to make to get myself to a "yes" answer. Is it a toxic relationship? Bad job? Have I been focusing too much on negative things? Again, I know this sounds silly but I hope someone out there can relate. And thank you for making such beautiful music!
It's sad but happy at the same time, but it gives me peace and also pain, I don't know how to explain it, but something that I know, is that it gives me all what I need.
Watched this show recently with a friend via Netflix party, absolutely fell in love with the show. I wish there was more of it but then again, what we got was perfect.

idk why but Samuel makes the world a better place with his music becouse it makes you think about things you wouldnt and sometimes it makes you happy or feel sad and its not necessarily a bad thing, it makes you think about life what is going on and what will happen , it is a mystery but you are going to find out what that mystery is further on in life, it will be hard and no matter what happens you are you and you are special don't forget that, the things you do in life that is your decision ,be wise dont give up and live the way you want to live. No matter what happens we are all Human!
"It's time to look inward and ask yourself the big questions? Who are YOU? And what do YOU want?

This is beautiful, soft, harmonious, and powerful. Amazing job!!!
Every dialogue ppl commented in here.. I can hear all of their voices and I can't hold myself to cry for losing a part of me
A true composer, has mastery over all four musical elements
Imagine watching a well-made Avatar movie at the IMAX theater with this soundtrack
Tears will be falling from my eyes nonstop
I LEGIT was just gonna ask for another avatar song!
OMG this is so majestic 😭😭
I would die to hear the orchestra live
What a master piece... Beautiful - im speechless
for those wondering, that little cello part at the beginning is based of Bach's cello suite, specifically the prelude. and yes, the full song gives most cellists nightmares.
Avatar actually got me in touch with spirituality and opened my eyes to how beautiful it can be.
Avatar: The Last Airbender is one of the best tv shows of all time, and nothing will ever change that. It was the definition of perfection
Dude this is insanely good! It feels so emotional and passionate! Man you need to make more originals, this is incredible
Six minutes and five seconds of me sobbing, thanks
I didn’t comment this yesterday but this gave my ears a whole orgasm like I got goosebumps from it
From 1:39-2:40
Especially 2:13
But that’s mostly because I haven’t listened to the first piece, but everything about this radiates beauty
With music like this, you make the live action adaptation seem like a cinematic masterpiece
The first and last words spoken in ATLA are "It's...perfect"
You never cease to amaze us 😢
I like to think this song was made for Aang and Kitara's wedding. Would be sweet if someone animated an epilogue to ATLA with this
Watched this show recently with a friend via Netflix party, absolutely fell in love with the show. I wish there was more of it but then again, what we got was perfect.
There’s so much I love about this 💙
So this is what peace and longing sounds like
*video ideas*: mix between yoda and ashoka, yoda and rey and cantina music with Mario music
This soundtrack should be in the next game of "AVATAR" the one in Dreams in PS4. :D
Best show on earth right here. Love your music. Keep up the good work
Oh hell Ima use this in the finale of my DnD campaign (which is pretty ATLA inspired). This is absolutely beautiful.
man i keep rewatching the cartoon its just way too good
An awesome Orchestration for one of the best shows ever made.
This moved me to tears, what an incredible piece
