@RobVigeantRVJ I have personally pulled Ben since since he came into the sport. Tons of horse power, strong shoulder, long arm and hand. Lots of options. He doesn't do much with content. I haven't seen him in a while, but he did pull Toddzilla last year. I am personally very interested in seeing how much that L taught him

You missed that Vitaly is now fully training as an armwrestler. He used to be half truck driver. If he has been training as much as he says he is, he should be much stronger than the last match. Dave's condition is unknown now.
Let’s be real, that’s a cool hype title, but the human body can only train so much and recuperation takes time to make gain… as far as I know he trained very hard a few days a week…more than enough
It’s like if you want big biceps do you train them everyday… it won’t get you better results that 1-2 times per week.
I feel Vitali is from a place that is very supportive of armwrestlers with equipment and training facilities… he also gained a ton of weight in these years …

I have that same fire I was a musician for a long time and wanted to be famous until I was close getting it, I worked my ass off in the music scene and I learned how evil the music industry is so I stepped out of it. I've always taken everything to the fullest. So I relate to to your mindset its about seeing how far I can take it. I'm to old and coming in way to late to be anything in armwrestling but I'm having fun.

Im training my 14 year old son now and make sure we sit and watch your content together as you are role model to youngsters (in my eyes) on doing things right. Ive always bust my balls in the gym. Some of my friends do gear for a beach body and do nothing competively and each to their own if thats the only motivation.
I am fully on the train that the carrot of money changes things if people like me and you (well im not at the level where my travel and entry is covered) but you are fighting for people like me and i appreciate it and understand you are happily taking hate to die on the sword. There is something you missed about Vitaly vs Dave. In the first match , in that year, Vitaly was suffering from shoulder issues. He was barely able to use sidepressure. In the same year he lost to Zaur and Silaev, but nowadays he smokes them as we have seen since his shoulder healed up. Not saying Vitaly is guaranteed to win, but just wanted to let you know

Matt vs Derek is a grudge match. Matt has wins on Derek, so its personal.
Also there was a now deleted vid of Auden stonewalling the whisperer in a practice pull. Which has led people to think this KOTT match is just a hype piece for Devon's kid.

Matt isn't that much shorter than Derek but is there a lever length difference at all ? I could be wrong though, the thing Matt has over Derek is the hand size and the top roll explosiveness

My one critique for KOTT is their match making sometimes. Sometimes it makes me scratch my head. I'm not sure why Dave and Vitaly are pulling each other again so soon. I feel like it could have been a better match, and Derek Vs Matt too didnt make sense to me either.

If the Dave we all know shows up I believe Dave will win. But if the Dave of late shows up then he's unfortunately in for a very rough day. Sure hate seeing Dave lose to all these guys he would normally smoke.
Let’s not forget Dave won the first time when he was in a similar position, and everyone thought he was washed up… And now Vitaly is on a losing streak as well

Never count out the nobody's, I grew up in a town of 800-1000 people and when Greg Boyes brought back all sorts of hardware it made all of us young fellas start pulling...and most of us still do to some extent 🤙

This was back when I was training grip now I do things once or twice a week on top of armwrestling training but if I don’t have a tournament or a match the prep for I’m not afraid to just grab things on the daily

Vitaliy was really hurt last time, according to his words his shoulder was so bad he couldn't bench press 50kg. Now it's seems his sidepressure is back so Dave is in trouble.

That's what's interesting, armwrestling has been in the growth phase so a lot of new names are appearing. I know of 3 solid potential guys unknown in armwrestling. 2 are new, 1 is a top strongman and came 2nd at Shaw Classic last year in the grip competition. 2nd guy is really strong for his age, lifted a 440 lbs Atlas stone at 17 yo, and recently beat a five-time
AW national champion in a supermatch after 1 year in the sport.
Another guy is a farmer, built frame with thick hands, beat Kamil Jablonski in 2019 but then disappeared. Heard he's making a comeback and is set to pull in the EvW European qualifier in April.
And I believe all of them are natty. Wouldn't be mentioning them otherwise. Lots of potential guys will start showing up, but how will they align themselves in this opinionated landscape the sport is in now. Will it be the usual expected narrative / conformity and positioning to help upkeep that popularity in the limelight or will they lay down the matters directly as you have or be open to them at all? That'll be the real showing and where the value lies.

I believe top Strong men are not natural… I don’t know but from talking to the likes of some of the top guys in the game nobody at that level that they know of is natural but you could say what you want… My video was talking about upcoming events, so I’m not sure what this comment is all about
@@RobVigeantRVJ That last statement was a rhetorical question. What usually happens is everyone positions themselves in the comfort zone and doesn't call out bs that is taking place. Especially top guys that are doing well and want to keep a good relationship to their league and fans.
The strongman I'm talking about doesn't shy away from the PED talk and actively claims natural, with a logical strength progression he has recorded on youtube. He has made videos defending other lifters whose natural status people doubt. He is also tested randomly for strongman and powerlifting in a country where the culture is pretty anti-PED. Hence it's completely reasonable to assume he is natural, just like with you. The 2 other guys are from the same country with other factors I'm taking into account.
You were talking about unknown names in the public eye that might become known in the future, so that is what I'm making a point in, so why are you unsure what my comment is about?

Well.., I’m not usually a short answer type… but sometimes I never know an angle.
As far as training is going… I’m trying… takes time and we have had a lot of sickness here as well.
Life… eh, good days and bad… ups and downs like most.
Armwrestling… I love it, but at times it makes me frustrated and I consider disappearing.
