I found out you can set up an iPad on the dash and watch shows while the car drives. I might Need to intervene at anytime. But the last time I needed to for safety was about 3 months ago. No joke. FSD has my commute down to a perfect science.
I can see on your self driving view extreme detail of the spaces around you. This doesn't exist in my area when using FSD (I have HW4 BTW)... probably due to so few Teslas driving in my rural region. All I get is the basic intersection close up.... not the high flying overview you are getting on your screen. I am certain this is part of why FSD works so well in San Fran and other areas where the mapping made by the multiplicity of Teslas is knitted together into a cohesive whole. Where this mapping is lacking FSD performs less than stellar more often.
@@bufacct Thanks but no...I am using FSD 12.5.1 currently. Waiting for 12.5.3. The intersections are detailed but looking at Whole Mar's (WM) screen it shows detailed outlines of parking lot areas surrounding the road.... fairly far out. This does not exist in my views even when I zoom out on the view.... those areas are fuzzy and not clear cut like they are on his screen. My guess, based on Tesla's AI day lectures, is that there just has not been enough miles driven by Teslas in my area for Tesla's systems to piece together a detailed map like the one WM is showing.
Glad to see it’s still improving.
0:58 lol, what the hell is that? Is it to help with the merge in turn?
yes, appears to help form a zipper merge
@@tae5216 brutal!
My mind is blown by FSD compared to five years ago. I would happily pay $8k for it.
Didn't exist five years ago. The program started on November 20'.. so less than 4 years now
Nice to see you in Colma

Crossing your legs like this isn't the best idea. You might need to intervene at any time.
Omar knows what he's doing
teslas use break if theres a danger. his hands is enough to take the control.
@@ErdeseldwI’ve seen one literally crash into a train, no you need to be ready to take over fully
I'm curious, do you operate a Tesla with FSD or are you just expressing yourself based on your feelings?

It'll be nice when everyone gets this in 6 months. My last FSD update was in April.😂
Average or aggressive?
Awesome!!
Nice
How difficult is it to not play on your phone while driving a car. Or at the very least not film it and put it on RUclips.
The driver monitoring is really sensitive to looking down and it gripes at you very quickly if you do. So really you can’t do it and use FSD.

You're probably using auto steer and not full self driving. The views with auto steer are much more basic as you are describing.
