In the middle of all the horror, all the suffering, you can also find the greatness in every day people.
In the middle of the peace and prosperity you can also find those great people who still see the need and respond humanely to those in need.
We only hear the “bad news,” the salacious stuff that sells the media, not the reality of your neighbors. *People do care.* It’s finding those people that’s the challenge.

@@BEEBEE159 I believe it. Its the feminist movement. God also stopped making the ultimate male model. European women are good because the men are good.God was removed from our every day lives. No one is happy anymore & its sad. Men and women are different so complement eachother. God said husbands must put their wived on a pedestal and treat them better than themselves. I hardly ever see that. In turn, wives should obey their husbands and be supportive. I rately see that. If husbands truly lived as God vommanded them to, wives would have no problem being supoortive and obeying. It seems everything has been lost. Its sad. Really, its not difficult to live as God wants us to, but we are selfish beings and want to always please ourselves.

Never mind back then. The world isn't so unsafe right now. Back then people were friendly and helped each other and were kind and now everyone is a bunch of nervous, scared assholes who only help themselves, so desperate people turn to their only other option, stealing and robbing. And I'm not making excuses for those who do steal or rob people. But when people actually cared and helped each other, nobody had to lock their doors and there were a lot less crackheads and meth users and criminals. Hell, 25% of the U.S. population are in prison, wasn't like that back then. I go out in the middle of the night and nobody is around. I go into the middle of bad neighbourhoods, nobody's around. Things aren't as bad as we think, we just hear about all of the bad and none of the good.

And we only have his word for it that he talked to his wife who said she was busy, busy, busy. He could have killed her before he left and then maybe talked to an answering machine or just to a telephone dial tone. Nothing makes you seem guilty of killing your wife more than drastically changing up your routine and making sure you were seen at every place you go to (and going back the next day to be extra sure they remembered you). Also, murderers always throw in a suspicious call to “check on” their loved one that fits with their alibi. People don’t generally do that at a very specific time.

Yes, Stephen Geri looks very suspicious regarding the murder of his wife, Marilu. Murderers also like to have someone else discover the body. THIS is where I remember, from back when I was 16-17, watching and hearing the "Angels We Have Heard On High," and especially the "Oh, Gloria" part! The way the song ends on those notes, is so awesome!! I also recall, Phillip's brother called the show, right after the broadcast, saying, "I know Phillip. He's my brother!"

Wow. That first story was just wonderful and touching. Loved it. "Unsolved Mysteries" and "America's Most Wanted" need to never go off of the air. They're a wonderful, very important public resources and assets to our country. So many crimes would have gone unsolved and people not located it it were not for these shows. We need these programs now. They're entertaining AND informative.

Amen. These shows solved A LOT of crimes, and brought justice to so many families.
As disturbing as the content was, I felt like "To catch a Predator", was as well. If it made parents or children a lil more aware, or kept one potential molester from attempting to meet a child on the internet, it was worth it.
