Yeah. The one home video was so obviously an otter or beaver. I'd personally go with otter since they're more likely to arch like that. No idea how they guy filming it got "green" and "hairless."
I concur with your statement. As for that older footage, who the hell knows? I like to believe many of these ambiguous sea cryptids being filmed are sharks. Either sharks that found their way into lakes(it has happened before). Or pet sharks that had/have outgrown their pens and were set free into large nearby areas of water. Large squid and mountain gorillas were only myth until their existence was confirmed respectively.
There were those of us who never got hit by enemy bullets but were injured besides by those who were home in the states. The things we expected ripped from us were deeply wounding and daily suffer even to this day in our hearts and minds.

'Why did she write?' Because she was a guardian Angel. I am so happy they were able to reunite. God Bless this wonderful lady!
When Robert Stack smiles at the end of the Ogo Pogo segment 😀
Actor who played the nurse, Linda SHarp. What a stunner.
FACTS!
The Yellow Cursor You’re totally right, but Captain Sharp herself was also obviously still a very beautiful woman at the reunion. I can only imagine how pretty she was back in the late sixties.
Jim was blessed !
I'm a grown man and this one brought tears to my eyes...
I think Jim was a little smitten, and maybe her, too. And that's okay.
Brett Cooper Haha I thought that as well! 😊
Brett Cooper it is because it told Jim that he still had it in him to love and enjoy life. Linda is an amazing lady. And Jim is a very lucky man to have a beautiful wife and family. Leslye
I caught that slight tension from the wife 👰
😂
@@thegrandcanyonisegypt2489 yeah and how is she mentioned that you didn't know why Linda wrote the letter. Instead of just assuming it was to help out Jim when he gets home and nothing more. Secretly I wish that they got together LOL
lol me too
As a veteran the story of Linda and Jim brought down tears of my eyes.. what a great story
Thank u for ur service
You did no service. You simply signed on to obey the dictates of a criminal gang (US government). That's not laudable or altruistic. Service is something else entirely.
Maximus Wolfe your comment has no value for the majority of people who are appreciative of others services!
I enjoy watching unsolved mysteries all day.... Great true mysteries 🧐🧐🧐🧐💯
To Jim & Linda and ALL the men and women who have ever served, THANK YOU! RIP Jim
Hi Linda Good blessing you
any were your are
history filing me so happy
Thanks you LINDA 4 EVER
God bless Linda and Jim and there family's. .. I needed a good cry .
Oh man... I sincerely thought Jim was probably still living today. It was really sad that he passed nine years after the show aired, which means he died in 1998 approximately. He was about 50 and would be 70-ish today.
Wow... So sad... He would have been around my Mom's age (she's 70)...
Damn. At least he got to do this show and experience the miracle captain Sharp gave him and even reunite with her later.
You sure it wasn't in 2000 2002 2008 2010 or 2012?
That Vietnam story with Jim and Linda was so heartwarming.
Thank You for uploading all these episodes 🕺👍🏿
After Jim’s death, I hope the rest of his family still kept in touch with Linda, the war nurse who saved his life. Because I don’t think Jim would have wanted his family to be cut away from her.
The update at the end of the segment says they did stay in contact after Jim passed.
I doubt his wife did
Ogopogo appears to be a 4 foot long otter or beaver. The amount of hokus pokery on this show never ceases to amaze.
Ogopogo can shape shift... from a Beaver to a Dragon.
When the tail smacked the surface, I knew! No lying to a Canadian about that animal! He was going back and forth for the logs to build his damn
That bank president's death is absolute nightmare fuel.
No-one should ever be ashamed of serving their country, whether a war be right or wrong. Serving your country is one of the bravest things you can do.
when the idea is fed to you through bullshit propaganda, and its a facade to gain power over other countries, no thanks
@@thememoriesof4892 then blame the people in power, not the pawns who genuinely believe they are doing right by their fellow countrymen.
He didn't blame anybody. Jim knew he got duped into fighting a bullshit war.
@Fran potter
" Serving your country is one of the bravest things you can do ".
Yeah . . . . . . no, it is not, child.
The bravest thing one can do is make it to heaven.
Because of the trials and tribulations that ( we ) have to encounter *before * ( we ) get there.
IF we get there. 😟😟😕😕😔😔
I recently started feeling ashamed of my service. I just realized how brainwashed I was and how we are just pawns used to make money. I hate myself for serving my country and buying into the idea that I was doing something honorable/something that would make a difference. I appreciate everything I got out of it, and I have brothers and sisters that I will love forever...but I’m very ashamed of this country. It never cared about me
Linda wrote that letter because she was in love with him and wanted him to be happy ♥
Yup...she was on him hard...
Basically sounds like they were definitely in love with each other. Sounds like that night she brought him the beer under the stars was a Real Good Night for Jimbo
This is just great- I’m watching this Vietnam reunion episode at work with earbuds. I’ve been telling everyone my allergies are acting up and that’s why my eyes are red
I think the Ogopogo segment was only made so they could get Robert Stack to say “Ogopogo”.
I think so too. Lol!!!.
Lol!!
24:19 “gave her a fruitcake instead of her money!”
Should've given it back to her face.
R.I.P. to Jim ty for serving.
This episode brings back childhood memories for me. Now, I know to this day why I find cryptozoology fascinating. Thanks, Unsolved Mysteries!
There were those of us who never got hit by enemy bullets but were injured besides by those who were home in the states. The things we expected ripped from us were deeply wounding and daily suffer even to this day in our hearts and minds.
I so miss shows like this on evening TV. Its sad every show today doesnt capture you like these.
The wars are an absolutely horrible thing . Praying that humanity evolves to higher energy and learns unconditional love.
Dude, the way Dan Short died is fuckin torture. Wow...savage
I was just crying so badly about the Linda Sharp and Jim story. We all need a Linda Sharp in Our Lives now and then. I am very sad that Jim died but I'm glad that he got to see Linda again
This is one of my favorite lost love stories! I'm so glad that Jim and Linda finally had the opportunity to have a reunion before he passed away. This one really rears me up!
I can't be the only one who thinks they banged
I LOVE when there are updates where people find each other!!!! I hate not to see an update for so many of these people. It breaks my heart that some of these people are never found for these happy endings or just justice. I hope "unsolved mysteries will continue and try to find answers for people!!💜
Harold, played by Mike Piazza, was really good actor in this episode.
"yeah she scammed me, but that fruit cake was delicious" I laughed not gonna lie
He's braver than I would have been confronting Gertrude's son. Maybe I've watched too much TV but the last thing I'd do is let the person I'm tracking know I'm tracking them.
What a great nurse, I've been to the hospital a few times myself from mostly my own stupidity and have always wished to thank them but had no way to do so. I am wondering why he died 9 years later though he seemed like he was still too young?
Here's a tip: Whenever some strange lady walks up to you and asks "Would you like a piece of my fruitcake?" You can always answer that with an emphatic NO. She may not be a con-artist like in this episode but she's up to no good!
The story of Linda and Jim made me cry.
Gertrude Pruett? That's exactly the type of name I'd expect an elderly Southern woman to have.
The murder of the banker pissed me off, to kill someone in that manner is pure evil. They should be executed & the taxpayers should not have to pay for them to remain in prison.
That's our justice system for ya!
tears for all those who have had to go to war...I wish you strength to heal or rest easy...respect to all.
Those people going nuts over a beaver 😂😂😂😂😂
LOL "if that tail hit a man, it would probably kill him!"
My Dad used to go nuts over the beavers building dams on on property and flooding our road to the house. It was a different kind of nuts. :)
Don't look now, but this country (Canada) was built on the back of dead beavers!
@@waivedwench Beavers can transform a wasteland into a lush green ecosystem. Maybe that is why Canada is so beautiful.
Yeah this is the most expensive beaver footage ever!
Dan Short´s murder was also on Forensic Files.
so who did it better? Peter or Robert?
I saw that episode, too.
It was also featured on The FBI Files. The episode is called "Blood Brothers." Season 2, Episode 9.
Yeah that's where I saw it too
I know
Any time we went past Lake Okanagan as kids on vacation our mom would say, "Say hi to Ogopogo!" 😜I'd think it would be very interesting if someone took a ghost box or something similar to Lake Okanagan, and see if anything was willing to talk to them.
Weird that Gertrude Pruitt was working as a live in housekeeper when they found her - what did she do with all the money?? Was the job only a front or... ?
So many senseless wars that were fought and so many lives lost all for nothing!! But thank you all who served our country and sacrificed so much for! God Bless you all! ❤
Jim and Linda's story 💜🤗
True love
Rip Jim :(
Why am I watching this in bed at night nightmares here it comes
Dan Short's story is so upsetting. The poor guy no one should die like that just plain evil.
To say I love Linda Sharpe is to speak of a love that transcends the physical emotion. It’s a love from the heart, as if in some way I’m connected to her spiritually, and I acknowledge unreservedly that I am a better person for simply having heard this story. Linda, I love you without bounds. The unimaginably injured and psychologically damaged legends of every country that served in Vietnam owe everything to the nurses and doctors who did their job. Your story is beyond inspirational. It’s beyond description. It’s just…beyond…the call of duty. I owe you, because of what you have done for my appreciation of the finest standard of human relationship. I will work hard for the few remaining years of this life to live up to the standard you’ve set. Thank you.
OK; there may be an ogopogo, or whatever. but how could anyone not recognize that beaver?!
Sad to see that Jim Baczkowski died only 9 yrs after reuniting with CApt Sharp. RIP Jim! I hope his wife is still around as well as Capt Sharp
They're both fine. They make sweaty old lady LGBTQ music together now.
