"A number of snails were sacrificed, but the ghosts stayed on" is definitely one of the all-time greatest UM lines 😂😂
my god lmao snails
When Alan claimed he had a ghost in his bedroom, his parents “poo-pooed” the idea the house was haunted. Lol Robert stack made me laugh when he said that.
Maybe it's because they thought the married couples imaginations were shit.
hahaha I had to watch 2x to make sure that's what he said
my grandpa used to say this all the time, and now I'm convinced he did it just to make us laugh
I poo poo the thought!
I'm already aware it's an old saying but I still think its funny when I hear it.

Robert Stack is laying on the sarcasm pretty thick during the Mann family haunting segment, lol. Its golden!
He didn’t seem any different than with any other story…he’s very stoic
@@Brownsocksflirt Pay attention to the words he's using, he's def. sarcastically mocking the story on the sly.....lol
Robert Stack doing an U.M. shoot in a foggy cemetery, the ghosts are in awe of him. Lol 😆🤣.
That's because the story is total bullshit. Mr. Stack was no fool.
@@jrpone, Robert Stack didn’t write the script. The words he’s using were chosen by the series’s writers, not him. Stack hosted and narrated using a script. It was a role he was performing; he’s not commenting personally.
Robert Stack’s delivery is what made Unsolved Mysteries so riveting
“Some of the rooms took on a deathly chill, and then there were........
*THE VOICES*
He certainly parades a deep hypnotic presence, and has a very unique way about him. Sometimes i get lost in his eyes while he is speaking, and it frightens me. Then he will start talking about a lost friendship that was reformed 50 years later in such a manner and tone of voice that changes the entire feel from horrified to enchanted in a split moment. I attempted to view the other host of unsolved mysteries, and my brainium does not seem as interested in his delivery or tone of voice....Robert Stack is without a doubt where it is at.
Or the " sbails were sacrificed but the spirit stayed on"

@Josh Kolbo A man named Gary Schara, it was said in an update of the case in this video, didn't you see the video here? He confessed, pleaded guilty and got life without parole, IMO, he should of gotten the death penalty, why waste taxpayer money to keep a monstrous man housed and well fed. At least justice finally came even though it took awhile, but this lovely lady Lisa and her family got closure!!
The real mystery is how Alan managed to procure a 16 year old bride.

He's so fat that's the only girl he could find that would go for him

@@catcat3964 Do you even know the true definition of "pedophiliaa"? Contrary to the trending internet definition, "pedophiliaa" is an abnormal attraction to PREPUBESCENT children. Therefore if a man is attracted to a 16 year old he cannot be labeled as such! One last thing...how do we even know the age difference between him and her?
16 and 19 is only 3 years apart.
a number of Snails were Sacrificed but the ghost stayed on. the poor snails. LMAO.
I know the first story was supposed to be serious, but I kept laughing as they went on :D
They were bludgeoned to death.
First time I've ever heard a cheeky comment from Robert Stack and I've seen hundreds of episodes. Absolutely hilarious.
@McCrumpit. I once read that Robert Stack would eyeroll & groan everytime a ghost story came up.
😂😂😂
The Lisa Ziegert murder case has since been solved. Her killer was a very disturbed man named Gary Schara, who always had fantasies about kidnapping and murdering someone. Lisa was unfortunate enough to have been spotted by Gary as she was walking in to work, and he decided to act out his sick fantasy on her. Gary waited until Lisa was alone in the store, walked in and bought a music box from her (which he gifted to his then-wife later that very night), and then suddenly attacked her -- no need to rehash the gruesome details from here. More than two decades later, Gary confessed to what he had done in a series of letters, and unsuccessfully attempted to commit suicide. He was arrested at the hospital where he was being treated, with the police confirming his guilt through the DNA evidence that they had on record. Gary was then tried for Lisa's murder and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

One more sad tragic story that proves what Jesus said is right. If you and your loves ones trust in him, he will protect you from the devil out to destroy you. He made this clear in the Holy Bible over and over again.
When I was a toddler a man charmed my mother to snatch me from her. The woman, a stranger, must have been an angel. She told her that man is not going to bring your child back. This was in a hospital back in the 70's. They both ran after him screaming for him to bring me back. And just as he got close to the door. He put me down and ran out of it. My mother told me the story all throughout my life. I was christened as a baby. Jesus protected me. Baptize your family and stay prayed up so you'll have is love and protection 24/7 day and night. Even in your dreams.!
"I thought I was living with a bunch of flakes!" Haha that one tickled me a little.

UPDATES : Results: Unsolved - No new investigations have been done at the house. However, Alan's father, David Mann, passed away in June 2007. He was 62. Alan and Linda later divorced, but stayed friendly afterward. Alan later married again and had two children; he passed away November 2018. He was 46.
I heard the mom passed away as well.
Maybe there haunting the house now too
That’s sad. That’s too young to die in my opinion. So sad that the others died as well. I wonder if they didn’t take good care of themselves and the stress from the ghost maybe added to it?
It is really young. But he was only 19 here. I'd imagine that his weight would have ballooned by the time he was in his 30s
That is such a downer, alan and linda were of my age group, his dad was 62 in 2007 and he passed? My dad was also 62 then and is still living in 2020.alan has passed also thats scary to me!

I have the first look DVD of this episode on Ghosts and I could've swore he never said poo pooed the idea!!?? Lmao!!!!!
I did it three times lol.
It’s an old fashioned term.. and would not have been unusual to him.
The first segment is hilarious from the wife pinning down Alan's arms and him whining to the dad breaking into a Dr. Suess rant: "I'm tired of the smells, the voices, the bells, the noises".
Hahaha, I also noticed that it was a pretty nice verse/rhyme! I kind of imagined it in the Grinch's voice!

I lived in the US in the early 1990s and I remember vividly Robert Stack's voice on Unsolved Mysteries. He made that show so powerful and scary. I am now in the Netherlands and binge watching them. I can't stop.

There are a lot of creepy things in the Mann house, but a ghost isn't even in the top five. The parents listening in on the teen married couple gives me the creeps.
No doubt it is creepy as hell.

It's so heartbreaking to hear the students talk about Lisa Ziegert and the impact she had on their lives. I hope the guy they caught will be found guilty.
Regardless of whether he did it or just if he did it?
@@annnee6818 If the evidences show he did it, of course. That's what I meant, I hope the evidences will show that indeed he is guilty so that her family and friends can now find peace.
His DNA supposedly matched that found on Lisa's body. He was a suspect all along but LE did not have any evidence to support arresting him. When they tried to obtain DNA he ended up in the hospital after attempting suicide. He had written a "suicide note" confessing to the crime. He was arrested in 2017 and the case is still going on. I couldn't find any updates on the case since last November.

I also liked the parents getting nosy when the husband and wife were roughhousing behind closed doors. It almost seems as if they know what normal messing around is for the couple.

That teacher died for no reason, and her death had an drastic effect on everyone around her, including all the students who loved her. That little girl who was crying while talking about her, definitely hit hard.

Upon learning that the ghost Isabella was 13 years old, Alan Mann tried to marry it!
I was reading what became of this family. Alan and his then wife are no longer married (gee I wonder why) he was arrested and charged for domestic violence spouse battery. The father has since died and the mother was arrested for selling marijuana and public consumption. I'm wondering if they made up the ghost story?
*I have a feeling they did make it up. I saw this segment when 'Unsolved Mysteries' was on Lifetime TV a few years ago and all of the 16 y/o brides scenes were cut out. Probably when they got divorced, and she knew this was all a hoax to get on TV, she asked UM to remove her scenes.*
@@littlecasino60 Good theory ! That's likely what happened.
Alan is dead now too.

The first story at 9:35 when the house smelled like a burned out motor. Maybe that smell did come from some sort of electrical appliance and maybe they were getting a dose of carbon monoxide explaining the headaches, chills and hallucinations of ghosts and disembodied voices. You never know, most people never had carbon monoxide detectors in the early 90's.
That sounds like a possibility, however most cases, not all, but a large majority of cases with carbon monoxide poisoning have hallucinations of ants crawling on everything. Not to say it's not a possibility based on that, but just watching their demeanor it seemed to me they bullshitted their way into television to get that sweet sweet screen time they desperately craved. But hey, that's just my opinion.

But the ghost won’t let them off the hook
Here I am at night, watching Unsolved Mysteries with Robert Stack at 1:15 am about a house in Lake Wales, Florida, which is “hunted” by a ghost or ghosts. Needless to say,
I turned my bedroom light on right away because I was spooked by this story especially after midnight. And having myself experienced the paranormal before lots of times times for years and years, I didn’t want to have another experience again. That was enough for me……but I have the feeling it will not be the last time either. I was told by a reputable psychic who helps the police in their missing person cases as well as murders, that I am “very sensitive” when it comes to spirits or apparitions: I can feel them, hear them talking and walking, I have heard them calling me by my name, etc. but I can’t see them that’s what I thought thank God for that, until I saw one spirit at one time and that was enough to scare the shit out of me. And I have never, ever has used this Oujia board which I don’t believe in it. These “encounters” that I have had with spirits/ghosts/apparitions will continue on and on as long as I live. It is a curse to be like that but what can I say…..it is my life story. 🙄

The "voices" were creeped out by Alan being married to a 16 year old.
@Madeline Whitley Doesn't make it not creepy. 16 year olds are still in the midst of puberty, their brain isn't even fully developed, they haven't even grasped taking care of themselves. A 16 year old is not fit for such an adult thing as marriage.
@Madeline Whitley Keep positive and yet child marriage and more importantly forced child marriage is still a thing in the US, which is where I assume you're from.

This ghost story really creeped me out
What's even creepier than the ghost is that Alan's parents allowed him to marry a 16 year old

Wow! I mean, from that distance she could tell who were in the back seat??? What kind of eyes did she have? Ex-ray eyes?? Incredible and unbelievable.
Is it just me or is the segment on the Mann home truncated? This episode scared the crap out of me as a kid, so much so that 20+ years on I came here looking for it. I remember in more detail the voices, the salt around the house, and the priest visit. Maybe my imagination 😂
