I loved my trip to Boston. Went to a Giants-Red Sox game at Fenway for my high school graduation and the fans were so friendly. Driving into Boston the people were aggressive drivers but they were the coolest people to talk sports with in the bars and sports shops. Fenway was so classy with Mike Yastrzemski on the Giants for obvious reasons but it was still awesome seeing them cheer for him when he’d get a hit. Probably the greatest trip I’ve taken so far in my life.
I wish the Sox had made the Series in 2012 instead of the Tigers... Giants vs Sox then would've been epic.

I was at a Sox-Mets game at Fenway a few years ago and you guys had sent busloads of fans. The opposing chants were rocking the old place (I think we even brought out Dar-ryl even though he was nowhere to be found), until right around Sweet Caroline someone started a Yankees Suck chant and it was the greatest kumbaya moment ever.
Yankee fan, mainly cause I've watched em since I was on that team in little league. But Boston has dedicated fans obviously. Some died never seeing them win a series. But I still hate em! Haha love the Murphy's and hope to see em live. It's baseball season and St Paddys day is almost here! Best time of year.

i have always liked this song and when Boston won in 2004 i was genuinely happy for everyone in New England, i live in New England and me being a Yankees fan it was nice to have everyone giving me crap about my Yankees gear on, but with a smile on their face, i enjoyed everyone being so happy, and my Yanks lost, but having everyone around me so happy there is no way i couldn't be happy either, so i took my beating for a year, but i enjoyed watching all of them finally enjoy something insanely special from that team in 2004. that's what makes Baseball so great. all my friends are Red Sox fans, but through it all we are still fans of the game.

"We recorded this song in June 2004 and after giving it to the Red Sox told anyone that would listen that this song would guarantee a World Series victory. Obviously no one listened to us or took us seriously. We were three outs away from elimination in game 4 at the hands of the Yankees and receiving death threats from friends, family, & strangers telling us to stay away from the Red Sox and any other Boston sports team and get out of town. Luckily for us things turned around for the Red Sox and the rest is history."

They were sung at Red Sox games and it was hated by every team that traveled here & had to hear it. The song was originally in a Musical called "The Silver Slipper" & it was about a woman singing to her beloved parakeet "Tessie".
