Driving into Boston the people were aggressive drivers but they were the coolest people to talk sports with in the bars and sports shops. ahh the memories mvp 2005 blasting homeruns with rameriez and ortiz and winning nailbitters at RFK with the nationals
I watch this every St. Patrick's Day! To get psyched for spring and another Red Sox Baseball season!
Who else is here in 2019 reliving the nostalgic glory of MVP Baseball 2005, great video game soundtrack of all time
Went to Fenway last season and loved my time there. Thanks Boston
great game: Pivetta and Vasquez!!
The best baseball song ever made
Just watched their live show from Fenway!! Bad ass!!
This song was played for 3 years at every BASKETBALL game of Red Star Belgrade. Greetings from Serbia! Great song!
My dream being from California and being a Sox's fan is to go to Fenway and watch a game and listen to this song at a game and with Sweet Caroline..
And having been a Red Sox fan since 1967, and having lived through the awful years, and then experiencing 2004.....whew....I can tell you it was A DREAM! I've said it man times, and I don't care how shallow it sounds, the thrill was only second to the birth of my kids (notice the marriage itself isn't in there:)
Rene Fonseca - just do it!
Rene Fonseca Instead, come to NY to see the Yankees play and hear Frank Sinatra's 'New York, New York'
***** Or Elland Road to join in with 'Marching On Together'
Rene Fonseca Come on out Rene. Aside from the Sox, summer is AWESOME out here! TONS of fun stuff to do. Great place for a full vaca and to make a dream come true. Be sure to do the tour of Fenway (many don't know about it) when they aren't playing. Let me know if u need details!
Tiger fan here... born and bred Detroiter... wouldn't trade it for the world... if i HAD to though i'd be from BAston and root for the Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins, and Pats. I love you guys... (don't tell my friends i said that)
@eclectica1 A good tune is a good tune. I'm a BIG baseball fan, especially the history. So I can appreciate the history, story and characters in this song. That and MLB 2K5 drilled this tune into your head every time you started it up.
Back when we were ONE
Boston held the heart of love together and broke the curse, way more bigger than a ballgame.
Miss that famous voice of Carl Beane. He was amazing. RIP Beane
I loved my trip to Boston. Went to a Giants-Red Sox game at Fenway for my high school graduation and the fans were so friendly. Driving into Boston the people were aggressive drivers but they were the coolest people to talk sports with in the bars and sports shops. Fenway was so classy with Mike Yastrzemski on the Giants for obvious reasons but it was still awesome seeing them cheer for him when he’d get a hit. Probably the greatest trip I’ve taken so far in my life.
I wish the Sox had made the Series in 2012 instead of the Tigers... Giants vs Sox then would've been epic.
@@danweaver3901it would’ve but at least Boston got theirs the year after. Revenge on Detroit and turned a year of tragedy into a special ending for the city and the history books
Who's here after the 4th World Series title in 15 years?
Hell yeah bro!
They truly deserved this series win!
YEAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHHAAHAHAAHHAAHAHAA
Me
This Bitch right here! Go Sox!
Lets go sox!! Been there in the worst times glad we are here
Yeaaaaa 2018 chaaaaamps!
The guy who was my old boss and I didn't get on well at times. He casually mentioned he had been on holiday to Boston to watch some baseball.
Be assumed I didn't know anything about baseball.
I don't. But I knew this song. I told him about it and he told me how he'd been to see the band live loads of times!
Suddenly the two of us were friendly and talked about the band a bunch. I can't believe a song I discovered 15 years ago would come in so handy haha.
MVP Baseball 2005 :-) I fucking sucked at owner mode but I still played the hell out of the game
***** Yeah it's extremely annoying
***** Haha that's nice... I love to play the mini games as well lol. Out of every MLB 2k that I've played, none of their mini games are as fun as MVP Baseball 2005's minigames lol
holy shit...was that 2005. god damn.
Love NV & love MA. Huge part of my identity in those locations.
Who else gets chills on the "RED SOX, you are the only, only, only" cause I still do 2021
As a Cardinal fan, you guys danced on our graves to this song back in 04. That part induces Vietnam-type flashbacks for me 😂
@@metronoobin5744 and then we got you guys again in ‘13🙈
@@jasonbrink9600 Your team throughout history has routinely had a top-5 payroll in the whole league and you don’t even have half the amount of rings that St Louis does. Let’s keep things in perspective little buddy :) We develop smartly trade for our talent and don’t need to buy future HOF guys like Manny Ramirez Or Chris Sale in free agency and we STILL better than ur poverty ass franchise 😡
That being said, everyone knows baseball is 200% better when Boston is contending so just go easy on us next time, would ya? Haha
@@metronoobin5744 hey I have nothing but respect for the St Louis franchise. I’ve never heard a fan flaunt your what like 12-13 rings(didn’t look it up lol) like how I hear every yankee fan rebuttal EVERYTHING with “27 rings” I’ve always considered myself a fortunate Bostonian because I’m 26 yrs old and have seen what the Sox pats bruins and Celtics do in my lifetime. That being said, I would genuinely enjoy seeing the cardinals get more!🤟🏻
@@jasonbrink9600 Boston sports teams (and their fans) are all great! Had to take that playful little jab cause you got us pretty good in the last 2 WS, but best of luck to your city bro!
The Boston faithful deserved this win. I can truly say the best team in the league this year took home baseball's greatest prize. Congratulations, Boston, from this Dodgers fan.
2018 AL East champs!
I just sang this song with my 1 year old daughter! Brings back memories!
Boston ♡ #Reppin
BOSTON WICKED STRONG !!
THANK YOU !
I think they play this at Fenway a lot, especially after the Red Sox win, that is, *after* Dirty Water is over.
Greer Fried if the Sox win first you’ll hear dirty water then always Tessie after. I love our town.
I love this!!!!!! Go Redsox !!!!!!
Red Sox Champs 2018
The Boston Red Sox and their variety of awesome songs never cease to amaze me. Win another one for Red Sox Nation! Don't make us wait another 80 years! Tessie needs a bath in the Dirty Water!!!!
We named our puppy Tessie because of this song

That year we broke the curse was a magical one. WBRU played this on repeat that day we beat the Yankees 4-3. Go Sox!
Congrats to the Sox for advancing to the ALCS. As a Yankee fan I dreaded this series and Boston outhit and out played the Bombers.
GG
Thomas Bertram we are two of a kind
Yankee fan, mainly cause I've watched em since I was on that team in little league. But Boston has dedicated fans obviously. Some died never seeing them win a series. But I still hate em! Haha love the Murphy's and hope to see em live. It's baseball season and St Paddys day is almost here! Best time of year.
this makes me wanna be from Boston..
Yes you do. Boston is the shit
BetterDeadOnRed it’s not as fun as you think trust me
Born there 51 years ago, left 42 years ago. It never leaves you ❤️

Trina Macone I’m from Canada lol
Thank. You. Sox. Love, a bastard Brewer fan. Striking out Machado made us all cry tears of joy. Well run club that just deserves glory. T E S S I E!!! BABY!
