The real genius here is John Frusciante. It was he who helped Anthony, he suggested to him how to sing it, sat down with him with his guitar and they created the harmonies. He's a really cool dude, musical artist , a true friend... Of course, this doesn't detract from the brilliant glory of the lyrics written by Mr. Kiedis! This is how they're created to this beauty masterpiece.✌💜

I remember buying my first RHCP Album in 1984. I’ve been lucky enough to have seen them more than a dozen times. Flea has as much energy now as he did 30 years ago. Chad Smith, still killing it on the drums.

This song in that live version is my favourite song ever. EVERY (and with every I include myself) guitarist wants to have the tone of John, his „under the bridge downtown“ fits the song much better then the choir on the studio version and with Anthony singing at his best, you just wanna cry out of emotions. Another fact about Anthony, it’s true his toughest time was before Hillel Slowak died. His official sobriety date is 24.12.2000 ❤ thank Jesus for that band

I would love to see you do a reaction to John Frusciante's vocals, possibly a live song, or studio song of his solo work. His voice is angelic, and he has a good range.

Anthony is actually a very very good singer. You can hear how much he has worked on his vocals over the years. He does some great singing on songs like "Don't forget me" and "Brendan's death song" Everything from stadium arcadium onwards really shows Kiedis's vocal range aswell.

I saw them live at Roskilde 2007 and he was... not great. The rest of the band was great and when the guitarist sang one of the songs he sounded really good tho he looked stoned out of his mind.... and maybe that was the issue. Anthony had recently gone clean and looked very awkward on stage. Like he was trying instead of doing...
