- I have made an improvement toy eye kit that makes it more user friendly, there are much less steps involved! I hope it helps you make some cool creatures! I'm trying my best to upload new content, but my new promised schedule is "when I can" I have one more video filmed, just needs to be edited.
Here's new links to my kit that you can purchase and paint yourself! I split it up into three listings to hopefully keep things less confusing.

Ah, Kaz, or some say Kazul... Grant us eyes, grant us eyes!
Let us line our brain with eyes to elevate our thoughts
@@KazplayVideos reading that 30 times to understand it xd
I'm so excited about this tutorial! I'm following your original eye tutorials for the Black Phillip mask I'm making this year, and I've been a little bit stuck on how exactly to install the eyes into the mask itself. This is incredibly helpful. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and building up the creative community!
This will definately cut down on sculpting eyes, I love it!!!!
This is a great tutorial! I love the way your eyes look, they are so unique!
You always manage to simplify everything for us! This is an amazing tutorial, thank you for sharing it with us!
You're welcome!
This looks really nice. I've always thought costume design was cool but keep procrastinating everything. Lovely stuff Kaz~ thanks for sharing your secrets
Cosplay is a wonderful hobby if you decide to jump into it! It just take starting and some perseverance!
Oh wow, I hope I could use this one day..
Those look SO GOOD. SO GOOD OMG.
Awww gee, thank you!
Wow... Soo amazing... Nice abd relevant tutorial.. I want this.
These look amazing and this tutorial is great whether you use the product or not. One suggestion though is to update the Etsy listings titles to let the buyer know it's a pair of eyes that they're buying. It doesn't seem to say until deep into the description section. Maybe even adjust the Quantity dropdown to "1 pair" etc? Just for extra clarity :)
Thank you! That's a really good suggestion, I'll go make that change now!
This tutorial is so good! I was just wondering if adding the black stuff on the back in the last steps was necessary? I want to make a mask with some eyes like that that I can see out of. It’s ok if it’s hard to see or if there’s another way to make it able to see out of. But anyway tysm for the tutorial. Def will be trying this!
Thank you! It's not strictly necessary, you can try it out and see how it works! The concerns I would have: 1- the clear dome may fog up 2- the vision would be very tunnel-y but if you can come up with solutions for those considerations, more power to you!
Ok tysm!!
This will be much easier.. For my Bear costume, i used the green upholstry foam and made the eye lids that way. then to make it not porous, i coated it with silicone, then i painted it black.
That sounds cool though, Squishy eyelids! I do like how clean using black worbla is
@@KazplayVideos very squish. Warbla was always out of my reaxh but i think hobby lobby is now selling it. They started selling foam clay and 5mm eva foam rolls too
Thanks for this. I ordered the original eye kit but felt overwhelmed, so this really helps. I'm wanting to add small LED lights behind the pupil and if you've done such a video, haven't found it yet. Is that something you've done? Like, of COURSE she has!! = )
The closest thing I've done is this video ruclips.net/video/RO88zp5Pblg/видео.html I think it would be close to the same idea? Good luck, and glad this helped to clarify things
Im planning on making a aarokocora cosplay for next Halloween, these tutorials are gonan be super helpful! Should i make the head foam (other then the beak) or make the whole front of the mask resin?
When I made mine I did the whole face a resin mask. I'm much more comfortable with foam now so that's what I prefer, but either way should work! Even worbla or another thermoplastic over eva foam for the beak could work too!
@@KazplayVideos i might go with foam for most of the head as I've seen more fursuit videos with that. I also dont have much mold making skills so i think that might be a stretch for me haha. Thank you so much for responding!
I love those since they are hollow it would be possible to mount a camera
That is true! I'd love to see it done
Have you considered making negatives of those cast eyes? So concave, so that they follow you?
I designed these eyes specifically so they wouldn't have a following effect. The go to method for realistic following eye (that you can use this same eyelid method for) is to print out a eye on photo paper and glue it to the back of an acrylic or glass cabochon. It's works well!
I could use your opinion on something, so I'm going to be making a spring Bonnie cosplay but I don't know how to make the jaw hinged do you have any tips?
The channel LostWax has some cool Eva foam hinge designs. I'm still trying to figure out the best way for my masks, but my Raptor and parasaur are really responsive
Is there a pattern for that face piece? It seems like it would be a hella good shape for a yellow jacket knight I'm working on
I do have the pattern but it isn't ready to sell yet, hopefully soon(tm)
Super good and useful, but some parts were like SUPER quiet and hard to hear
Oh no! I was having such a hard time exporting this that I forgot to balance the audio. I will do better next time, sorry!
@@KazplayVideos No worries! I just had to turn my volume up, the video was super informative!
