Good video man. I'm an experienced rider of 20 years, mostly on large cruisers and cafe racers, and just bought an already broken in (900 miles) 2023 RC390. It's an incredible machine. You made a great choice as this for your first machine. The one thing the dealership didn't tell me about is how numb my face would be from smiling after a ride on this thing. I'm also a similar build to you but 46 years old and have zero problems swinging a leg over and tucking in. KTM did a great job revising this from the previous model.
Brotha can you please make a little more detailed video on how the suspension adjustment clicker works - its range of motion of clicks, etc.?? I’m afraid to spin the adjusters past their “end spot.” I’ve had car suspension in the past that got over clicked and broke. And when they say it’s “30 click” adjustable they mean 15 for rebound and 15 for compression? I’d really appreciate some content about those fork adjusters bro 🙏🏼
I really liked the rc390 but I opted out for the trusted ninja 400 just because it's handles freeways better and the rc390 feels more like a dedicated track bike in my opinion
I agree, the ninja 400 has more power which in the end will make it handle the highway better. The RC390 is more of a track bike and that’s kinda why I bought it- it lookes really good also imo
did you changed the windshield color? The motogp version comes with a black/dark one. Show us the details, Motogp version also come with cheap brand stickers really visible in some walkaround videos. The blue version has better ones.
Best piece of advice is to sit on both models and find the one most comfortable for you. RC390 leans more forward (probably the most aggressive sitting position compared to any other 400 class bike) whereas Duke is upright and usually more comfortable for "most" for riding longer than 45 minutes. Everything else besides some minor design choices are the same.
the one I have is also the MotoGP edition... you probably could add a stabilizer (assuming you're talking about a steering damper) aftermarket. Now personally I don't see the point because you won't be able to reach speeds where it would get really sketchy- I have only been able to get to around 108MPH
I agree that it looks a bit bigger but that is one of the reasons I like this generation over the previous one- it makes it feel like a bigger bike. Also I prefer the way this gen looks because I could never get over the way that first rc390 headlight looked

Looks so damn good in the black and ktm orange.
Damn straight
Good review brother. Glad to hear your size is not a problem. Cuz I’m 6’2 215 and the bike being too small was a big concern for me
Thanks, I was a little worried too and then I rode it and realized it actually is big enough
Great overview! I'm ordering one tomorrow. So hyped!
With good reason, it won’t disappoint! It’s so much fun 🏍️

Love your bike 😍

windshield color is stock... and this is the MotoGP edition
@@Masterchief.1033 not in India
im trying to decide on a RC 390 or duke 390

Very Nice Ktm Rc 390😊👍🏍🏅
Thanks ✌️
Iam planning to get this with moto gp edition by year end. Can we add a stabilizer in it after market ?

Is it comfortable over long distance?
It’s pretty comfortable after around 2hrs is when my back starts to hurt lol
do you think this bike would be too big for someone who is 5’7
I don’t think so… you might not be able to flat foot on both sides but I think you’d be fine
Mine comes with black visor.. Hey what is that red thing on right side of handle near the key slot.. Indian version doesnt have that.
The little dial? That’s the rebound adjustment clicker for the forks
Can a person with 5'4 height go for this ?
I think that it might be a little bit tall for someone who is 5’4” the seat height is quite high
Im 5 5 and im on my toes 23 duke 390
Bhsi voice is very slow..??
I literally don't know what you mean by that lmao
You forgot to test drive the hell out of it
nice review, but new rv 390 looks bulkier, the old model looked much better- sleek and aerodynamic design
