    The engine is so mass produced at this point that the reliability issues are well sorted. They are solid powertrains. If you think the engine is nice now, wait until after break-in when you can wring it out. Enjoy!

    I bought one of these back in July and when you break them in they're awesome to ring out! Also ive done some mods which includes a FuelxLite autotuner as they tend to run a bit lean from factory. To me it feels like it doesn't want to stall as much when trying to take off or short shifting and ive also taken it to the track and try to take it up twisty roads on the weekends and that is where this bike was made for!

      I think they are working out the RC 890 for 2025 actually! Maybe that will suit you better

      @@known8172 That would be a great bike, though I think I would like a RC690 even better. Slim, light, low rotating/unsprung mass similar to the RC390. I had a couple of 690 SMs over the years and that little engine is pretty special for its size and weight.

    This Bike is Big in India it has more power than any Other 400CC bike even for Duke 390, glad you like it.

    Great to hear the Husqvarna 401 was just fine on the freeway. I’m looking to get the 401 or the 390 duke and that was my only question. Can it do 65-75 and pass at 85 if needed, and do all that with power, meaning not straining. So many professional reviewers are haters if it’s not 600cc or more. I’m learning trough these RUclips videos that all of India and Asia are basically riding 390cc or less.

      Thanks! I agree, a lot of reviewers just prefer bigger bikes. I don't regret getting this one at all. The way it rides and handles feels so approachable.
      Power wise the 390/401s will do 65-75 mph all day long easily and get up to 85 pretty easily to pass. They really start running out of breath past 85 but otherwise they are perfectly fine. The bigger issue I had with the 401 at speeds above 90 was the wind, but I had my RC390 at about 100 and it was very stable. I think you'd be happy on a 390 Duke if you're not just looking for a ton of power.

    In Manitoba Canada, that bike is 1200$ a year to insure

      Dang! I was paying $170/year to insure the RC 390.

    • @stevea2299
      @stevea2299 18 дней назад

      @@RaguvianYeah and to make matters worse, we have snow for 6 months. So technically we pay 1200 for sport bikes under 500cc. 500-1000 is 1900$ for 6 months. Over 1000cc is even more. Cruiser bikes are cheaper.
      So for the KTM rc390 it's about 200$ a month for riding season lol. All Canadian provinces have different rates, though

    Is the engine smooth, are there too much vibrations at higher speeds?

      It has a lot more vibrations under 4k, above that it’s very smooth till about 10k
