  • Welcome back everyone! In today’s video I go fishing DEEP in the backcountry with my buddy Wyatt on my gheenoe. We encountered many snook but ended up losing the battle to the bigger ones. I hope you enjoy today’s video! Stay safe and I’ll see you in the next one!

If you've never been down where he is, you have no idea how tight of an area they are working. Trust me, it takes mad skills to work any size snook outta the mangroves on light tackle.

Awesome video. I love these backwater 10k islands and Everglades trips. It’s unbelievable how far you get back there.

Man that has to be some of the tightest spots even for a Gheenoe to get in. Big ups man, reminds me when I used to go with a friend on his Gheenoe in Port. Tight lines

Definitely get worried that we will get stuck but it always fun to explore hidden bays.

Not sure if you post videos like this often but if you do or will I’m def subscribed! I fish areas like this often in bayous etc on a paddle board and can’t wait for a boat like yours!

Great Video! I was wondering how you come across spots like that?Did you just happen to find it or find it on Google Maps or something similar to it? Thank ya for any info! I'm always worried I will get back in there and get caught by the tide

Im always looking on google maps for new creeks. Most creeks don’t really show up on the maps but I’ve gotten good at identifying them.

Will gators mess with me on a paddleboard in stuff like this?

Probably wouldn’t recommend going in those tight creeks with one

If they have been acclimated to people, then they will. I’ve been in areas in the Everglades where people have obviously fed the gators fish they catch and they’ll go right up next to the boat within inches with no concern. I’ve also been to other areas where they are scared and wont come closer than 20 feet from you. Depends if people have ruined them or not
