…i was a teen when this came out but this was a head banger…it was as equally popular as “Fire and Desire” but it was played mostly at house Party’s and we slowed dance(dragg if you will) to it …needless to say it made most wanna grab the one they loved and boy oh boy…also in the summer it was played very loudly as most “hot” tracks were back then on Pioneer(Amp) Speakers throughout my South Central neighborhood in Los Angeles…so, you picked it up right it was a love ballad but it was (bad in our lingo back then)🔥🔥🔥…glad the new gen x’s and gen G’s are discovering these artists’ and these at time lost jewels and thanks for taking me back it brought me to tears…🥹♥️🌹

Absolutely Rick was just a phenomenal singer, musician and arranger and very versatile, the man could do it all.
