    • @alexisjuillard4816
      @alexisjuillard4816 Месяц назад

      @@bigfatcodyoh sure it will in large enough amounts ESPECIALLY if you're on a long bender, trust me you literally go insane and there a point where you for sure would fit the definition of medically if nlt psychotic, some sort of dangerous fucked up state.
      Benzos tend to make you chill and drowsy, or just mellow, but i absolutely agree on the underlying point you made.
      I think it does merit some nuance, ive seen both extremes so many times, i ve been there more times then i can remeber, and though i d tend to believe on ritalin i was more dangerous i think i have a massive intrisic bias here thats unavoidable; just the fact that i can recall what it felt like to be on your 7th day with literally i mean nl exaggerating just facts, literally not a second of sleep enables me to "feel" something about that memory.
      On the other hàd switch ritalî with bézos and well first of all i think the week lôg bender is not happening lol exept in your bed, but the ultra viscous part is 2 fold, first the total loss of memory for a huge extent of time makes it so you literally have to piece out you night from the fucked up stuff around u when u wake up, and even worse there's that oh so lethal illusion of sobriety that make a blackout drunk mans confidence in his sobriety seem perfectly plausible next to the barred up mess that huge doses of bézos create
      But in the end my experiance with coke adderal ritalin and shit is as you get more àd more disconnected from the world as days pass with no sleep, you feel worse and worse and à almost unavoidable horrible paranoia sets in, and i can 100% see a guy gunning down a child thinkîg the fbi is on him, but if i had to bet he is more likely to end up in the hospital cause he jumped out of his window 15 feet up to escape that lollypop eating bitch and broke his 2 legs lol.
      With benzos its more consistent and more unpredictable, this seems like a self defeating sentéce but i mean a high dose of benzo is pretty reliably gonna turn anyone into a fucking ambulant disaster waiting to strike.
      Àd totally right on the not caring. If you do shit on adderal its BECAUSE you care way to much, idk you're soberphobic (pretty proud of that one) àd do x
      Crazy stuff to stay hidden, you're scared shitless hiding from a man looking at you, sheltering behind a tree î the woods for 2h (btw this isn't a hypothetical i'm literally writing down that memory so hilarious, wasn't at the time though) before you friend mjsters the courage to flank the threat and creep up on this dàger.... only to realise that oh yeah we're in a forest who wod have though there was a bush vagely the height lf a man... i m fucking laughing now cause just after we had the exact same thing happen to us with another bush that came in sight, litterally took us a good chunk of the night to walk ûder a mile^^
      But wbere i think you're touchîg something is the not caring for benzos. That's true and far worse its consistently true, gove enough àd even the nicest dude will wake up havîg broken up with his girlfriend fought his father lost his wallet and be wearing a dead strangers bloody watch lol, lf course i m making this ridiculously îsane but the core idea remains

    The answer as to why suffering is needed in order to be happy is simple, if you remain in a single state long enough then you become numb to it. It's only in the presence of contrast that we can recognize anything. If the only state of being is happiness then what exactly is happiness? You have nothing to compare it to. It would cease being happiness altogether

      Wow this is most thought provoking comment ever

    • @ryandean8586
      @ryandean8586 8 месяцев назад +12

      You only really need the context. To suffer once is to give you the ability to contrast good from bad.
      Even just pondering what suffering would be like is enough to understand that you would prefer to have something than not. You need not live in a world of which constantly creates immense suffering repeatedly.
      It's also reading too hard into it. If there was some kind of purpose or reason behind the universe being the way it is, there wouldn't be people at the lowest end of society, experiencing very little other than suffering, abuse and poverty only to die on the street from exposure, drugs or violent crime. One would expect a world with purpose and order, that those people would get to experience the highest of highs also, so that your comparison world makes sense, but they do not.
      So I disagree that we need to have terrible things in order to appreciate the good. Even just the difference between something that is a little good, to a little better provides enough context.
      You don't need to go through the loss of a family member to be able to conceptualise what that experience would feel like. Our brains are easily able to grasp that concept and simulate it for us within itself without the need to endure it in reality. So I think that's entirely false

    05:00 This is such a silly way of looking at things. Why do americans always strive to just "be happy"? I feel like this constant pursuit of happiness without a cause is a relatively modern and culturally specific ideal. Happiness is for children, meaning that untroubled joy often found in youth is not enough to satisfy the complex emotional needs of adulthood. True depth and richness in life come from embracing a full spectrum of experiences, including those that challenge us. Pain, after all, is one of the most profound, pure, genuine and raw human emotions.

    I had an exgirlfriend who eventually got charged for shooting at me. Turns out it went way further than that day. She was planning it for some time.
    The detectives said she came close to killing me in my sleep twice but was worried her 22 wouldn't do it. Was looking up all kinds of fucked up shit. She was angry because you could tell the writing was in the sand when I caught her cheating the last time around I started falling out of love with her. I should have left the and many times before, but I didn't think lives were at risk. She should have left too. I'm not perfect but I'm above average in being a good human being.
    Sometimes my moral red-lines in life bothered her. She thought I was trying to show off. No. I'm just Catholic and believe in living a decent moral life. She wanted a thug street-type like her exes. However, I took good care of us and she didn't want someone else to have that or me. She was constantly projecting and accusing me of being unfaithful. I should have seen all the red flags. Why she thought murdering me was a solution I'll never know. Been single since too. Major trust issues. I'd rather be alone and safe.

    Good can not exist without bad. Happy without sad. You would have no concept of happiness if you didnt know sadness. Emotions are the biggest strength and the biggest weakness in humans period. Emotionless and logical thinking always prevail over the feeling squad. Thats why psychopaths are successful. But its a pandoras box, we can never feel love and joy then go back and give it up. It would be a tragedy. But think about how many decisions emotions influence in society.... its sad.
