Drop a paper and a book together, the book will fall instantly but the paper will struggle because of the atmosphere stopping it. If we eleminate this, by using something like paper kept on a thin cardboard.(Paper just kept on cardboard not attached). Now, If we drop this paper kept on cardboard and a book together, they will reach ground at exact same time inspite of the fact that book is much heavier than the paper(and cardboard) 🙂👍🏻
Who cares if you are the son of Donald Trump... Your example still makes no sense. The air resistance could be eliminated in a vacuum container, there you can drop a feather or a 10 kg weight and they'll hit the bottom st the same time.
The fact that San Andreas had this mechanic where you can either become strong or fat was incredible for a 2004 game that hasn’t been in any GTA game ever since. Hopefully GTA 6 will bring back this mechanic lol 😅
I remember reading about that, the limitations in graphics at the time allowed for more flexibility with changing the appearance of CJ whether it's gaining fat or muscle. It's a lot more effort to make that same flexibility with the HD graphics in GTA5. Especially with three main characters to work with, so that was not a feature.
You know that CJ weighed himself down that even Big Smoke, of all people, adviced him to go to the gym because he let himself go and it's breaking his heart. _"I'm big boned, but I'm still an athlete."_
4:30 No, actually all things fall with the same speed (acceleration of 9.81 m/s²) regarding of their weight. The only thing changing when adding mass is the force of the impact but not the speed of the object. The reason a feather falls slower than an anvil is because of the air resistance (a feather being light has less force when falling and the air can counter that force, but in our case both CJs would beat air resistance so it is normal for them to fall at the same speed)
Fun fact: Gravity pulls any weight down with the same speed. If you were to drop a tiny rock and a whole tank at the same time they would both hit the ground at the same time. So the game actually gets it right. + The reason Skinny CJ can take more damage is probably because hp in this game is called Health Points and Skinny CJ is healthier than fat CJ.
Yep, only the air resistance as an impact and slow stuff when falling, the same reason a feather will fall slowly, because of all the air resistance vs an iron ingot for example !
Any chance of making a "skinny CJ vs. muscular CJ"? High muscle CJ is a lot more convenient, but compared to skinny CJ he trades speed for power, he's just not as slow as fat CJ.
Damage resistence would only be for blunt trauma toward the fat parts if even that. My guess is that survival rate for overweight people getting shot is probably lower than normal weight ones but that is because they respond worse to treatment and harder to operate on. Anyway it would likely not do as much difference if not properly treated. He probably should have some advantage at brawling due to weight which is why sumo fighters were traditionally so fat, and boxing is delimited by weight categories (it is NOT because of muscle mass difference). Judging from the visials skinny CJ should naturally sink staying still in the water while fat one should float. Don't know if it's impemented in the game or not.

What an awesome video! but two objects of different weight will hit the ground (surface of the earth) "at the same time". ofc there is air resistance.... but the effect is expected to be negligible when it comes to CJ
The weight of an object does not alter its acceleration as it falls. Gravity will accelerate both objects at exactly the same rate. Therefore, It doesn't matter if I throw a bowling ball and a feather at the same time, they will land at the exact same time. On our planet, however, gravity is slowed down by air friction (and that is why the situation where both objects fall at the same time does not occur).
